Journal of International Oncology 2013;(2):100-102
PFTK1,an important member of cyclin dependent kinase Cdc2 family,is over expressed in many malignancies.PFTK1 involves in multiple processes, such as regulation of cell cycle, tumor invasion and metastasis, and the Wnt signal transduction pathway, which has a significant impact on prognosis of tumor.
2.Aldo-keto reductase superfamily and lung cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2013;(1):43-46
Aldo-keto reductase reductase (AKR) superfamily is NADPH-dependent oxidoreductase. As a rate-limiting enzyme in polyols metabolic pathway, the activation or inactivation of AKR involves in neoplastic process of lung cancer with the metabolism of environment toxic.AKR is related to drug resistance of chemotherapy, which will be the prognostic factor of lung cancer.
3.Lung cancer stem cells
Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(10):761-764
Recently, studies have demonstrated that several signaling pathways including Wnt,Notch, and Hedgehog which are involved in the regulation of the stem cells are abnormally activated in lung cancer. They are closely associated with some properties of the lung cancer stem cells, such as high tumorigenic, high metastasis, drug resistance and so on.In addition, several studies have shown that the population of the lung cancer stem cells, which are resistant to radiotherapy and chemotherapy significantly, highly express drug resistance proteins. Therefore, how to target lung cancer stem cells and ultimately cure the disease is becoming a hotspot in the cancer targeted therapy.
4.Alternative splicing of tumor associated genes messenger RNA and application
Journal of International Oncology 2014;(9):648-651
As a way of gene modification, alternative splicing is an important factor of eukaryotic gene expression and regulation. It makes various transcripts from one protein-coding gene, and greatly extends the genetic information.Alternative splicing of pre-messenger RNA plays an important role in tumor cells.By alter-native splicing, some important genes can generate splicing variants different from those in normal cells. The existence of tumor-specific splicing variants leads to the occurrence and progression of tumor.Therefore,explo-ration on the alternative splicing of tumor-associated genes may be of great significance in tumor diagnosis and treatment.
5.EML4-ALK fusion gene in tumor
Journal of International Oncology 2014;(7):484-487
EML4-ALKfusiongeneisoneofthenoveltargetsinthetherapyoflungcancer,whichcan be detected in several kinds of tumors.A specific ALK inhibitor has been shown to exert anti-tumor effects in non-small cell lung cancer with the EML4-ALK fusion gene.Correlative study between EML4-ALK gene fusion and EGFR-Kras mutations might cast new insight on the tumor target therapy.

Tumor invasion model is an important tool to study the mechanisms of tumor mvasion and to evaluate prevention and treatment of cancer.Compared to the in vitro model,in vivo model can simulate the tumor microenvironment and tumor mvasion biological behaviour better.Morphological observation and invasion-related protein detection can be used to evaluate the animal invasion model, which are widely used in basic and clinical research now.

Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(12):927-929
CD98 is a transmembrane heterodimer of cell surface. It regulates cell signaling pathway by activating some correlated proteins, and controls cell polarization, proliferation, adhesion and migration.CD98 plays an important role in the development of cancer and may be a novel tumor marker for diagnosis and prognosis in lung cancer.

Objective To analyze current situation of incentive mechanism and investigate the countermeasures.Provide the evidence for improving the incentive mechanism of scientific research at the hospital. Methods Questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate current situation and countermeasures of incentive mechanism of scientific research.Database was building using EpiData3.1,and was performed by descriptive analysis. Results 194 questionnaires were available. For the current incentive mechanism,86.5% respondents thought the content is comprehensive,The over 50 years old, bachelor or below, and clinical examination group thought the content were less comprehensive.Respectively,81%,82.5%,76.2% of respondents thought stimulation on achievements has positive effect to research, team work, and individual accounted for.The over 41 years old college or bellow, clinical treatment group felt less effect. For improving measures of incentive mechanism, the top three positions of contents were technological reward, high level project and SCI paper;and incentive methods were promotion, material rewards and training. Conclusions Incentive mechanism can promote scientific research to some extent. To further promote scientific research development, individual incentive measures need to be taken, the contents need to be expanded, variety incentive methods need to be used.

Journal of International Oncology 2015;(5):367-370
ATP binding cassette C4(ABCC4,MRP4)plays an important role in transshipment physio-logic,endogenous or exogenous substances. The over expression of ABCC4 gene has been found in many kinds of solid tumors and hematological malignancies. The target gene also influences metastasis and recurrence process. ABCC4 can reduce the intracellular concentration and the sensitivity of various chemotherapy drugs, which is bad for prognosis.

Objective To study the inhibition of lung cancer cell line by telomerase anti\|sense DNA,and discuss the possibility of using it in clinical treatment. Methods A phosphorothioate oligonucleotide(PS\|ODN) with sequence identical to the repeat sequence of the mammalian telomere 5′\|d(TTAGGG)\|3′ and a control scrambled sequence 5′\|d(TGTGAG)\|3′ were incubated with a lung cancer cell line. The effects of PS\|ODN on cell line growth,colony\|forming and growth shape were detected. The in vivo efficacy of this PS\|ODN was evaluated in a 801\|D nude mouse model.Once tumors were established these animals were administered PS\|ODN or saline for 15 days. Results Telomease anti\|sense DNA inhibit telomerase activation of cell line 801\|D growth and colony\|forming.The activity of the 6\|mer telomere mimic demonstrated a dose dependency. No activity was observed with the scrambled controls.A significant decrease in tumor weight was observed in animals given PS\|ODN, but not followig saline\|treated animale.Conclusion\ These results demonstrated that short hexameric oligonucleotide telomere exerts the growth inhibitory effect on lung cancer cell in vitro and in vivo, and suggest the potential utility of telomerase anti\|sense DNA as cancer cell inhibitors.\;[
