1.Determination of Baicalin in Tanreqing Injection by HPLC
China Pharmacy 2007;0(30):-
OBJECTIVE: To establish an HPLC method for the determination of Baicalin in Tanreqing injection.METHODS: The determination was performed by HPLC using an CLC-ODS C18 column(150 mm?6.0 mm,5 ?m),with mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(47∶53) at a flow rate of 0.5 mL?min-1 and a detection wavelength of 280 nm.RESULTS: The calibration curve for Baicalin was linear in the concentration range of 2.53~12.65 ?g?mL-1(r=0.999 8).The average recovery was 99.61%(RSD=0.35%,n=9).CONCLUSION: The method is simple, rapid and applicable for the quality control of Tanreqing injection.

Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture on onset time and effectiveness of Paroxetine for mild or moderate depression patients and on the scores of Hamilton depression rating scale for depression(HAMD) and self-rating depression scale(SDS). Methods Fifty-five patients with mild or moderate depression were randomly divided into A group( Paroxetine group,29 patients) and B group (Electroacupuncture combining with Paroxetine group,26 patients). Therapeutic periods for the two groups were 6 weeks. HAMD and SDS were used to evaluate the efficacy before the research and after treatment on 1 week,2 weeks,4 weeks,6 weeks. Results HAMD scores and SDS scores for A group were significant difference after 2 weeks treatment compared with the beginning of the research (P< 0.05 ) ;HAMD scores and SDS scores for B group were significant difference after 1 week treatment compared with the beginning of the research(P<0. 05 ). Total effective rate of HAMD for A group was 71.4% ,total effective rate of SDS for A group was 75% ,total effective rate of HAMD for B group was 88% ,total effective rate of SDS for B group was 84%. The total effective rate between the two groups ordered by the individual chi-square test was significant difference( X2 = 4. 1790, P= 0. 0408). Conclusion Electroacupuncture can shorten the onset time and increase the effectiveness of paroxetine for mild or moderate depression patients.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2008;25(6):1474-1478
Low-frequency ultrasound can increase the transdermal delivery of many drugs, including macromolecular drugs. The main mechanism is ultrasonic cavitation. Most researchers pointed out that it could change the form-structure of stratum corneum keratinocytes and, in this way, it can improve the permeability of skin. Low-frequency sonophoresis has been in use for in-vitro experiments and in-vivo animal experiments, and so far, both small-molecules transdermal delivery and macromolecules transdermal delivery have been successfully performed in many experiments. However, there are few reports about the real low-frequency sonophoresis for clinical treatment. A large number of clinical trials are necessary to confirm its safety and practicality. Once its safety is confirmed and the suitable low-frequency sonophoresis devices are developed successfully, Low-frequency Sonophoresis will come to be a safe, effective, controllable, and economic new delivery method.

Chinese Journal of Oncology 2017;39(8):613-617
Objective:
To discuss the strategy of therapeutic management of T3 supraglottic carcinoma.
Methods:
A retrospective analysis of 459 patients with T3 supraglottic carcinoma treated in our hospital was performed. We evaluated the results of different managements, including surgery alone, preoperative radiotherapy, postoperative radiotherapy and radiotherapy alone. The extent of the lesion was also put into analysis. Statistical analysis of the overall survival (OS), cause-specific survival (CSS), local control (LC), regional control(RC), function-conservation (FC) were performed with the statistical package from SPSS.
Results:
In all patients, the rates of 5-year OS, CSS, LC, RC and FC were 64.2%, 71.2%, 87.8%, 78.8% and 64.5% respectively. The OS, LC and FC of the patients treated by surgery alone, preoperative radiotherapy and postoperative radiotherapy had no significant difference, and were remarkably better than that of patients treated by radiotherapy alone (
