Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(3):196-200
It has been indicated that there are a large number of natural active compounds generating the radiosensitizing effect on tumor.According to diverse molecular mechanism, these compounds may enhance the radiotherapeutic efficacy via enhancing the radiosensitivity of tumor.Studying the radiosensitization mechanism and classifying the natural compounds with the potentiality of development into clinical radiosensitizers can provide certain ideas for further research and development of natural radiosensitizers.

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of autologous granular fat graft applied for penile lengthening and augmentation. Methods After all the superficial ligment and 1/3-2/ 3 part of the deep suspensory-ligament had been cut off for penile lengthening, local pedicaled fasciaadipose flap was designed to fill the depression, the pre-centrifuged autologous granular fat was injected into the space beneath Buck's fascia for penile augmentation.Normal length, pulling penis length, diameter, circumference and complications were evaluated. Results 34 cases were performed and followed up for 3-18 months, both ideal length and diameter increase of penis were achieved. The differences of nomal length,pulling-length,the diameter and circumference were (2.8±0.1) cm,(2.1±0.2) cm,(0.9 ± 0.1) cm,(2.8 ± 0.1) cm,respectively. The common complications included poor wound healing in 4 cases, preputial edema and subcutaneous scleroma in 8 cases for 3 months. Conclusions Autologous granular fat graft for penile augmentation during the lengthening surgery is a reliable and effective method and easy procedure.Detail processing can decrease the complications.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2016;32(3):362-365
Objective To explore the MSCT manifestations of pulmonary focal ground-glass opacity (GGO)nodules with differ-ent pathological types. Methods The thin-layer CT images of 87 patients with GGO nodules were retrospectively reviewed.Of them, 57 cases were confirmed by surgery and pathology, including 8 inflammations,2 benign tumors,1 1 adenomatous hyperplasias (AAH),1 9 carcinomas in situ (AIS),and 1 7 adenocarcinomas. The other 30 cases were followed up without surgery. Results Blur edge was found in 6 of the 8 inflammations (75.0%).However,the organized pneumonias showed large irregular shape with clear edge.Of 30 pre-infiltrating lesions (AAH or AIS),28 (93.3%)were ranged from 0.8 cm to 2.0 cm,26 (86.7%)were round or nearly round,25 (83.8%)showed clear edge, and 25 (83.8%)had blood vessels penetrated signs.Of 17 adenocarcinomas,15 (88.2%) were larger than 2.0 cm,13 (76.5%)showed irregular or lobular shape,8 (47.0%)showed coarse edge, and 10 (58.8%)had pleural indentation signs.Of 36 AISs and adenocarcinomas,9 were solid components (specificity of 95.2%),5 had vacuole signs (specificity of 95.2%),and 13 had penetrated and enlarged blood vessels (specificity of 100%).Conclusion There are characteristic MSCT appearances for different pathological types of GGOs.

Objective To study the method and effect of deep inferior epigastric perforator flap(DIEP)in repairing the large defects of lower limbs. Methods Eight cases, from July 2009 to November 2011,including 3 cases of plantar skin defects with bone exposure after foot injuries, three cases of plate exposure after tibia fracture surgery and 2 cases of heel repeated ulceration after skin graft, were repaired by deep inferior epigastric perforator flap. Results All deep inferior epigastric perforator flaps survived with good functions, except 1 case whose distal with poor blood supply and the flap survived after treatmenting, three cases of flap bloated with good appearances after second operation. Conclusion DIEP is a proper option for repair of large defects of lower limbs. It has the advantages of abundant blood supply, large flap area, abdomen can suturing without abdominal complications.

ObjectiveTo study the effect of SSY-B2 on improvement of learning/memory function of rats with bilateral fornix/fimbria transection.MethodsMale adult SD rats were divided randomly into 6 groups as sham group, model group, positive control agent piracetam group, SSY-B2 low(1.5g crude drug/kg), medium(3g crude drug/kg)and high dosage (6g crude drug/kg)group. Half to 1 hour before operation, water or drugs were fed introgastrically to each group respectively. From the fourth week, Morris water maze and tunnel water maze tests were used. Escape latency of rats in Morris test, escape latency and errors in tunnel test were recorded.ResultsIn both Morris test and tunnel water maze test, low dosage and medium of SSY-B2 markedly shorten the escape latency or reduced the errors.ConclusionsSSY-B2 can ameliorate spatial learning/memory dysfunction produced by fornix/fimbria transection. Functional compensation in other neural structure other than regeneration of the septohippocampal pathway is considered to be responsible for the effects.
