The characteristics of the teaching & research department of aerospace medicine equipment are expounded.Achievements in teaching reform,research topic,technological research findings and exploitation are reviewed.Meanwhile,its future development is discussed in fields of psychological test,cultivating talented person and multi-subject combination cooperation.We should grasp this opportunity and try our bests to carry out the research work in the aerospace medical engineering.Also we should focus on teaching and technical development and make the department of aerospace medical equipment become an important subject.

By analyzing the influence of human body in hypoxic condition,this report expatiates on the technology and principle of altitude chamber. It reviews the development situation of low-pressure module technology. Altitude chambers are introduced in the pilot,astronauts and endurance of oxygen,high physical stamina training,health inspection appraisal,research and medical treatment. At the same time,technology and application of altitude chamber is prospected in this article.

Objective:To explore the effect of ginsenodels on the memory retention of rats of animal models of schizophrenia.Methods:The rats in experiment were divided into experimental group and control group, the rats in the experimental group were orally given Ginsenosides, and rats in control group were given normal saline. Both groups were treated for 5 days, then given injection of MK801 to establish animal models of schizophrenia. Before (d0), during (d1,d3) and after (d5) MK801. Objective To determine the effect of high dose albumin on permeability of blood brain barrier (BBB) in brain of rats after ischemic-reperfusion (IR) in order to explore its possible mechanism.Methods Establishment of brain ischemic reperfusion rat model by using middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO).Medicine treatment was given by caudal vein injection after 2 hours of MCAO.Thirty-six healthy male SD rats were then randomly (random number) divided into 6 groups (n =6 in each):6 h and 24 h sham-operation groups (Group Sham:operation without ischemia),6 h and 24 h normal saline groups (Group NS:NS injection 5 ml/kg) and 6 h and 24 h albumin group (Group Alb:25 ％ Alb injection 1.25 g/kg).Six hours and 24 hours after the end of reperfusion,rats were measured by Zea-Longa score (neural function deficit) separately.Serum concentration of S100B was examined by the ELISA kit and Evans blue in brain tissue was detected by spectrophotometer.The level of AQP4 was examined by Western blot and immunohistochemistry.All data were analyzed by one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA),The intergroup comparisons were analyzed by the least-significant-difference (LSD) test by using SPSS version 17.0 software.Differences were considered statistically significant if P ＜ 0.05.Results Zea-Longa score significantly increased in both group NS and group Alb at 6 h and 24 h (P =0.000).However,there was no significant difference in ZEA-LONGA score of 6 h and 24 h between group Alb and group NS (P =1.000).The serum concentration of S100B in group NS 6 h was significantly lower than that in group Alb at 6h (196.67±20.11 vs 160.04±14.00,P=0.000),and at24h (2.45±0.07 vs.2.23±0.07,P=0.000).Furthermore,concentration of Evans blue in brain tissue in group Alb was significantly higher than that in group NS at both 6 h (0.97 ± 0.08 vs.0.74 ± 0.06,P =0.000) and 24 h (2.45 ± 0.07 vs.2.23 ± 0.07,P =0.000).The expression of AQP4 in brain tissue was higher in group Alb than that in group NS at both 6 h (0.72 ±.0.11 vs.0.57 ± 0.06,P ＜ 0.01) and 24 h (0.80 ± 0.03 vs 0.61 ± 0.02,P ＜0.01).Conclusions High dose albumin contribute slightly in improvement of neural deficit in rats after IR.On the contrary,it can also aggravate the IR injury,which increases brain edema then increase the permeability of BBB.The mechanism may be associated with over-expression of AQP4 in brain tissue.

Background Ex-PRESS glaucoma drainage device implantations have been clinically applied worldwide.In China,50 type and 200 type of Ex-PRESS glaucoma drainage devices are used for different types of open angle glaucoma.However,whether the clinical outcomes are similar between 50 type and 200 type of Ex-PRESS glaucoma drainage devices are not elucidated.Objective This study was to compare the therapeutic efficacy and security of Ex-PRESS implantation between PS0 type and P200 type of Ex-PRESS glaucoma drainage devices for open angle glaucoma Methods A randomized,parallel-group trial was designed,and written informed consent was obtained from each patient prior to entering in the cohort.Eighty eyes of 69 patients with various types of open angle glaucoma were included from March 2012 to April 2013 in Wuhan General Hospital of Guangzhou Military Command.The patients were randomized into 2 groups according to randomized digital table.The P50 type Ex-PRESS glaucoma drainage device was implanted in 40 eyes of 35 patients in the P50 group,and P200 type was implanted in 40 eyes of 34 patients in the patients of the P200 group.The disease composition,best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) recovery time,theoretical hospitalization days,lowing intraocular pressure (IOP) range and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.Results The average lowing-IOP ranges of the P50 type group and P200 type group were (21.19±11.22) and (24.35±12.27) mmHg,respectively,with an insignificant difference between them (t =-1.201,P＞0.05).The theoretical hospitalization days and BCVA recovery time in the of P50 type group were (3.65±0.92) days and (2.85±0.95)days,and those in the P200 type group were (4.90±0.81) days and (3.40± 0.96) days,showing significant decreases in the P50 type group (t =-6.444,P＜0.01 ;t =-2.584,P＜ 0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications were 6.06％ and 25.00％ in P50 type group and P200 type group,respectively,with a significant difference between the two groups (.x2 =9.800,P＜0.05).Conclusions Although P50 and P200 Ex-PRESS implantation provide a similar effect in lowing IOP,P50 type Ex-PRESS implantation can restore BCVA more rapidly and lessen complications in comparison with P200 type Ex-PRESS implantation in the early postoperative stage.

BACKGROUND: The incidence of the adjacent vertebral fracture after kyphoplasty is about 2.4%-23.0%, and 2/3 of new fractures occurred in adjacent vertebrae in 6 months. There is controversy addressing the reason which is the development of osteoporosis or the result of bone cement augment at present.OBJECTIVE: To determine the correlations between percutaneous kyphoplasty on adjacent vertebral endoplates stresses pressure under physiologianl load and a new fracture of adjacent vertebral body in physiological load.METHODS: Computed tomography (CT) data of an old female osteoporotic patient was selected, and a three-dimensional finite element model of the osteoporetic thoracolumbar spine T_(12)-L_1-L_2 was created by using kinds of computer aided design software.The height of vertebral L_1 was compressed by 60% to simulated the compressed fracture, and the height of L_1 became the 90% of normal to simulate the replacement, two columns-like PAMA mass (4 mL) was placed in vertebral L_1 to simulate pemutaneous kyphoplasty. The stress on inferior endplate of L_(12) and superior endplate of L_2 was compared with three models. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Compared to the normal vertebral body, the maximum stress in the adiacent vertebral bodies endplates increased by 76% for L_1 compress fracture model and increased by 27% for kyphoplasty model, respectively. The stress on the posterior part of vertebral body after percutaneous kyphoplasty have an average increase of 13.2%, of which 4.5% increase in the pedicle, isthmus, and 6.15% increased in the key points 25.6%, but with the wedge-shaped fracture of L_1 vertebral body compared to the model, percutaneous kyphoplasty after pedicle, isthmus and the articular process had reduced stress. The results indicate that the stress on inferior endplate of L-(12) and superior endplate of L_1 increased after percutaneous kyphoplasty under all loading conditions. Increased stress may lead endplate fracture, and increase the risk of adjacent vertebral body fracture. Further researches are needed to support the conclusion.

Objective To measure the cytokines levels in peripheral blood from kidney transplantation recipients by using cytometric bead array and to analyze their change and the clinical significance in pre- and post- kidney transplantation, inducting with basiliximab and graft rejection. Methods A total of 72 renal transplantation recipients were divided into two groups, kidney function stable group(n =53) and acute rejection group (n = 19). And they were also grouped by induction with basiliximab or not,32 in basiliximab group and 40 in without basilixmab group. The levels of IFN-γ, TNF-α, IL-10, IL-5,IL-4, IL-2 were measured by cytometric bead array in peripheral blood of 72 kidney transplantation recipients and 30 healthy donors at differential time. The data was analyzed according to the following grouping:donors and recipients, kidney function stable group and acute rejection group post transplantation and with or without basiliximab group. Results The levels of TNF-α, IL-10, IL-5, IL-4, IL-2 in recipients before transplantation were ( 1.65 ±0. 10) ,(2. 55 ±0. 19) ,( 1.88 ±0. 14) ,(1.85 ±0. 12) ,(2. 12 ±0. 09) ng/L,respectively. While they were (3.04 ±0. 17), (3.33 ±0. 26), (4.03 ±0.25), (2.73 ±0. 16), (4.03 ±0. 26) ng/L respectively in healthy donors. There was statistical significance between the two groups ( t =6. 890, 2. 375, 7. 851,3.955,7.153, P<0. 01, <0. 05, <0.01, <0.01, <0.01). While the level of IFN-γ in recipients before transplantation was (2. 50 ±0. 18) ng/L,compared with (3. 00 ±0. 24) ng/L in healthy donors. There was no statistical significance between the two groups( t = 1. 625, P > 0. 05 ). The levels of IFN-γ and IL-10 in kidney function stable group were (2. 71 ± 0. 11 ) ng/L and (3.91 ± 0. 52) ng/L,while they were ( 3.30 ± 0. 36 ) ng/L and ( 12. 01 ± 5.35 ) ng/L in acute rejection group. There were statistical dirrerences between the two groups ( t = 5. 061, 11. 465, P < 0. 01, < 0. 05 ). Before induction with basiliximab, the levels of IFN-γ, TNF-α, IL-10 in recipients were (2.90 ±0. 21 ), ( 1.67 ±0. 12),(2. 45 ± 0. 16) ng/L respectively. But they were ( 2. 78 ± 0. 17 ), ( 1.58 ± 0. 07 ), ( 2. 77 ± 0. 24 ) ng/L respectively after induction with basiliximab, which showed significantly different ( t = 5. 605, 6.011,4. 126, P <0. 01, <0. 01, <0. 05). Four weeks after kidney transplantation in recipients with basiliximab,the levels of IFN-γ, IL-10, IL-4 were (2. 90 ± 0. 31 ), (9. 08 ± 0. 16), (2. 73 ± 0. 11 ) ng/L. While they were (3.28 ±0. 11 ), (4. 17 ±0. 21 ), (2. 11 ±0. 20) ng/L respectively in recipients without basiliximab induction, which were significantly different from those with basiliximab induction (t = 4. 268,4. 263,3.762, P <0. 01, <0. 01, < 0. 05 ). Conclusions Six kinds of cytokines can be measured by cytometric bead array simultaneously and accurately. The data suggests that the detection of multiple cytokines in kidney transplantation recipients by cytometric bead array can provide more guidance for clinical diagnosis and therapy.

Objective: To compare the blood lfow of left internal mammary artery (LIMA) graft vessel between minimally invasive direct coronary artery bypass (MIDCAB) and traditional median sternotomyin off-pump coronary artery bypass (Traditional OPCAB) by transit-time lfow meter (TTFM). Methods: We retrospectively studied 300 patients who received OPCAB in our hospital from 2013-01 to 2015-07, all patients had LIMA to left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) anastomosis. The patients were divided into 2 groups: MIDCAB group, n=70 and Traditional OPCAB group,n=230. Intra-operative blood lfow in graft vessel was measured by transit-time lfow meter. Pre- and post-operative indexes and the mean lfow (MF), pulsatile index (PI), diastolic fraction (DF) of LIMA graft were compared between 2 groups. Results: The following indexes in Traditional OPCAB group and MIDCAB group were as below: intra-operative transfusion was (3.00±5.42) U vs (1.06±2.17) U, post-operative peak value of cTnI was (2.84±9.93) ng/ml vs (0.69±1.74) ng/ml, mechanical ventilation time was (27.9±66.9) h vs (14.2±20.8) h and ICU stay time was (64.1±89.6) h vs (35.2±39.2) h, allP<0.05; while for the graft from LIMA to LAD, MF was (29.45±18.19) ml/min vs (29.04±15.85) ml/min, PI was (2.68±1.19) vs (2.44±0.84) and DF was (71.47±11.12) % vs (70.25±11.30) %, allP>0.05. Conclusion: With LIMA to LAD graft, MIDCAB may achieve the same effect as traditional OPCAB, the early post-operative anastomosis has been reliable.

ObjectiveTo determine the correlation of human leukocyte antigen-G (HLA-G)expression with CMV active infection after kidney transplantation. MethodsA total of 215 first-time kidney transplantation recipients in one transplantation center were divided into CMV ( + ) group and CMV ( - ) group according to whether they had active CMV infection. mhla-g1 expression on leukocytes was analyzed by flow cytometry. The concentrations of soluble HLA-G5 were detected by using ELISA. The sHLA-G5 cutoff levels by ROC curve was employed to predict the active CMV infection. The expression of sHLA-G5 mRNA and protein in leukocytes was analyzed by using RTPCR and Western blotting respectively. Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the HLA-G expression in kidney biopsies of 12 cases. ResultsThe expression of mHLA-G1 in peripheral blood was low in both CMV ( + ) group and CMV ( - ) group. Also when CMV-PP65 was positive, there was no significant change in mHLA-G1. In CMV ( + ) group, the proportion of CD14+ mHLA-G1 +cells[(45. 53 ± 17.32)％]in peripheral blood was increased as compared with that in CMV (-)group[(10. 22 ± 5.78)％]. The expression of sHLA-G5 was increased significantly in CMV ( + )group. The optimal cutoff value of sHLA-G5 predicting the active CMV infection was 202. 9 μg/L,with high diagnostic accuracy. HLA-G was positive in the kidney tissue of 10 patients out of 12 patients with active CMV infection. Both RT-PCR and Western blot analysis showed that sHLA-G5 was significantly higher in CMV ( + ) group than that in CMV ( - ) group. ConclusionROC curve analysis of sHLA-G5 with the cutoff value of 202. 9 μg/L can be used to predict the active CMV infection. The HLA-G levels in peripheral blood were significantly increased and HLA-G expression in the tubular epithelial cells of the graft could be a protection mechanism of the kidney function.

Objective To study the correlation of HLA-G levels with acute rejection and CMV active infection post-kidney transplantation.Methods A total of 132 initial kidney transplantation recipients were divided into kidney function stable group (F),acute rejection group (AR),CMV group according to whether they had active CMV infection and acute rejection.Forty-one healthy donors served as control group (H).HLA-G levels and mRNA expression were analyzed by using flow cytometry,ELISA,RT-PCR and Western blotting.Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the HLA-G expression in kidney biopsies.Results The expression levels of mHLA-G1 were low in all 4 groups pre-transplantation.Only CMV group had significantly more CD14+ mHLA-G1+ cells post-transplantation (P＜0.05).sHLA-G5 levels were higher in F group than in H group (P＜0.05),but there was no significant difference among other groups pre-transplantation (P＞0.05).sHLA-G5 levels were increased significantly in CMV group as compared with F group (P＜0.05),and those in F group were higher than in H and AR groups (P＜0.05).Renal tissue biopsies from 21 renal transplantation recipients with AR indicated that HLA-G5 was expressed negatively in 17 patients,positively in 3 patients and 1 weakly positively.HLA-G was positive in the kidney tissue of 9 patients out of 9 patients with active CMV infection.In total 132 recipients,AR incidence was significantly lower in CMV ( + ) group (7.1 ％,2/28) than that in CMV ( - ) group (24.0 ％,25/104).Conclusion The sHLA-G5 may contribute to predict AR and CMV active infection; AR and CMV active infection may be correlation with immune balance in kidney transplantation recipients.
