Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2003;0(06):-
Objective:To investigate the individual serum tauro-conjugated bile acid concentration in patients with Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy(ICP) by high performance liquid chromatography-tendem mass spectro-metry(HPLC-MS/MS).Methods:Bile acids were extracted from serum samples of ICP,ICP with Diabetes Mellitus,ICP with Virus Hepatitis patients and normal pregnant women.Serum tauro-conjugated bile acids were measured by HPLC-MS/MS.Results:The serum levels of taurocholic acid(TCA),taurochenode-oxycholic acid(TCDCA) and taurodeoxycholic acid(TDCA) in the three groups of ICP,ICP with Diabetes Mellitus, and ICP with Virus Hepatitis were significantly higher than those of the control group(P
2.Bibliometric Analysis and Research on Preventive Treatment of Disease in Acupuncture and Moxibustion
World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(10):2124-2130
This article was aimed to analyze literatures on preventive treatment of disease in acupuncture and moxi-bustion in order to understand its status and development trend. Bibliometrics and statistics method in NoteExpress were used in the analysis of related literatures about preventive treatment of disease in acupuncture and moxibustion from 1981 to 2013, which were included in CNKI. The analysis and research were from aspects such as year distri-bution, keyword, journal distribution, author distribution, and fund distribution. The results showed that there were 537 articles in total from 1981 to 2013. The number of literatures was in an overall growing trend.“Zusanli”,“Inner Canon of Huangdi”,“sub-health”, and“clinical research”were high frequency keywords. The journal distribu-tion conformed to the Brad Ford’s law. The author distribution conformed to the Lotka’s law. The number of fund papers was also increased. It was concluded that research on preventive treatment of disease in acupuncture and moxibustion was still in the period of rapid development and had not reached maturity. The preventive treatment of disease in acupuncture and moxibustion had broad application prospects. However, the research still required to be strengthened.

Objective To observe the relationship between the intima media thickness(IMT) and the level of serum uric acid in elderly female patients with hypertension Methods Eighty elderly female patients with hypertension were measured for carotid artery average IMT and the level of serum uric acid They were divided into the normal group, intima thicking group ,the plaque shaping group and the vascular stenosis group. In the abnormal groups, probable risk factors were analysed by multiple stepwise regression Results There were significantly differentces among these groups ( P

World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(9):2015-2019
This study was aimed to investigate structured approach of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) symptom information. Combining results of the Chinese Symptomatology Research and literature review, this study proposed a dual structure model of symptom. A total of 440 symptoms, which were screened out from the Chinese Terms in TCM and Pharmacy, were used for symptom structured attempt. The results showed that 9 symptoms and 9 attributes were identified, 201 main concept words of symptoms were extracted, and 420 symptoms with the dual structure model were structured. It was concluded that structural information model of TCM symptoms proposed in this study was feasible. However, the research methods and results are exploratory, which requires further verification.

World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(8):1805-1808
This study was aimed to discuss possible problems in the data collection process of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) clinical medicine and to propose appropriate solutions. Based on analysis of clinical data features and data collection demands among 20 TCM clinical research bases, reference were made on key technologies of the Electronic Medical Records' integration and sharing, to propose the solution of TCM clinical data collection. The re-sults showed that proposing the metadata and data entities synchronized intersecting strategy, analyzing key points on this strategy, and proposing appropriate solutions, found the technical processes of the TCM clinical data collec-tion. It was concluded that the analysis and solution on key points of TCM clinical data collection provided the basis and the reference to data collection issues of TCM clinical research base.

Objective To obtain the pneumococcal autolysin(LytA)and choline binding protein A(CbpA)by prokaryotic expression system and investigate their diagnosis for infection caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae. Methods The specific primers were designed according to lytA and cbpA of Streptococcus pneumoniae gene sequence.lytA and cbpA were amplified by PCR form the pneumococcus genome. After IPTG inducing, the recombinant proteins were purified by electroeluting of bag filter, detected by SDS-PAGE and Western blot.Serum lgG and IgM antibodies accordingly of BALB/c mice infected with Streptococcus pneurnoniae were detected by ELISA.Results The recombinant plasmid pET-32a(+)/lytA and pET-32a (+)/cbpA were constructed successfully.Fusion proteins LytA and CbpA were expressed and displayed expected antigenicity.IgM and IgG antibodies level anti LytA were significantly higher than the control group (infections with B Streptococcus group and healthy mice),(P<0.05),but antibodies level anti CbpA did not increase as compared with group infected with B Streptococcus(P>0.05).Diagnostic sensitivity of CbpA was 83.3%(IgG)and 75.0%(IgM).Diagnostic specificity of LytA was 100%(IgG and IgM).Conclusion The synergistic use of specificity of LytA and sensitivity of CbpA may be worthy of serological diagnosis for Streptococcus pneumoniae infection, and may be used for further clinical test.

Objective To explore the effect of comorbidities on the surgical outcomes of elderly patients with hip fracture. Methods The Age,gender, weight, type of fracture, preoperative comorbidities and surgical outcomes of 117 patients aged 80 yr or over who undergoing hip fracture surgery in our hospital were recorded. Patients were divided into rehabilitation group and postoperative in-hospital death group ac-cording to surgical outcomes. The potential predictors of postoperative in-hospital death were identified by univariate model and were then entered into multiple Logistic regression analysis. Results Twenty three patients(19. 7%)had no comorbidity,94 patients(80. 3%)had one or more comorbidities. Ten patients(8. 5%)died in hospital after the operation. Predictors of postoperative in-hospital death were preoperative respiratory diseases and three or more comorbidities. Conclusion Surgical outcomes of elderly patients with hip fracture may be predicted by analysing preoperative comorbidities. Preoperative preparations must be sufficient in order to ensure successful operation.

Objective To analyze the common reasons for misdiagnosis of atypical pulmonary embolism (APE) ,and to im‐prove the identification of APE .Methods The risk factors ,clinical manifestations ,laboratory examinations and radiographic data of 120 cases of APE diagnosed from January 2006 to December 2013 in the department of cardiovascular medicine and respiratory medicine of Xinqiao Hospital and the Affiliated Hospital of Luzhou Medical College were studied retrospectively .Results Among those 120 cases of APE ,39 cases were misdiagnosed on admission (32 .5% ) .8 cases were misdiagnosed as acute coronary syn‐drome ,7 cases as stable angina pectoris ,7 cases as chronic cor pulmonale ,5 cases as pneumonia ,3 cases as pleural effusion ,3 cases as tuberculosis ,3 cases as asthma ,1 case as atrial septal defect ,1 case as acute heart failure ,and 1 case as cardiogenic syncope .Con‐clusion APE is easy to be misdiagnosed for its non‐specific clinical manifestation .Pulmonary enhanced CT or CTPA should be car‐ried out in time for those highly suspected patients ,in order to reduce the misdiagnosis of APE .
