The in-vitro fertilization and embryo transfer technique has been widely applied in human insemination. The rate of successful insemination is gradual y rising, and the in-vitro fertilization directly determine the insemination outcome.
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the difference between the two common using insemination methods, microdrop and open, in in-vitro fertilization and embryo development.
METHODS:A randomized study was conducted to compare microdrop and open insemination methods among non-male factor patients undergoing in-vitro fertilization and embryo transfer. A total of 1 175 cases were enrol ed in the research. There were 573 cases in the microdrop group, and 602 cases in open insemination group. The fertilization rate and embryo development in the two groups were compared.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The fertilization failure rate [total fertilization failure rate+low fertilization rate (<25%oocytes fertilized)] in the microdrop insemination group was higher than in the open insemination group (11.9%, 3.3%, P<0.001), while the good quality embryo rate and pregnancy rate did not differ significantly between the two groups (al P>0.05). The open insemination method is a simple insemination method with a lower fertilization failure rate. As the fertilization is a highly complicated process involving many extrinsic and intrinsic factors, further study is needed to confirm the effects of the two insemination methods on in-vitro fertilization outcome.

This article is aimed to provide a method for the simultaneous analysis of five heavy metals, including Cu, As, Pb, Cd, and Hg, in Chuanxiong Rhizoma and Gastrodiae Rhizoma through ICP-MS. Five heavy metals were determined by an inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry method after microwave-assisted digestion. The linear correlation coefficients were all better than 0.999. The lowest limits of quantification for all target elements were 0.003 0.134 ug·L-1, while the recovery values ranged from 80.04% 118.34%. This method was accurate, convenient, rapid, and highly sensitive, and can be applied to determine five heavy metals, including Cu, As, Pb, Cd, and Hg in Chuanxiong Rhizoma and Gastrodiae Rhizoma.

Objective To evaluate the safety, tumor radical and early postoperative efficacy through comparison of laparoscopic gastric D2 radical surgery with traditional open gastric D2 radical surgery. Methods 254 patients with upper stomach cancer underwent surgery were selected,132 cases using conventional open gastrectomy (the traditional laparotomy group),122 patients underwent laparoscopic radical gastrectomy (laparoscopic surgery group).Laparoscopic surgery group with traditional open surgery group had no statistically significant differences in gender, age, tumor location, histological type and TNM staging. Results Open surgery group and laparoscopic surgery group had statistically significant differences in operative time [(235.78±31.56) min,(256.43±54.08) min,P < 0.001],blood loss [(326.69±89.73) ml,(158.31±62.98) ml,P < 0.001],incision length [(16.53±2.34) cm,(5.51±1.15) cm,P < 0.001],gastrointestinal recovery time [(4.22±0.91) d,(3.31±0.83) d,P < 0.001],first time eating liquid [(5.78±0.95) d,(5.56±0.78) d,P < 0.001] and postoperative hospital stay [(12.62±2.89) d,(11.18±1.78) d,P < 0.001].The total number of lymph node dissection and complications was not statistically significant. Conclusions Laparoscopic gastric D2 radical surgery is a safe, minimally invasive surgical method.Laparoscopic gastric D2 radical surgery has the same lymph node dissection and good early outcome compared with the traditional gastric D2 radical surgery, but postoperative recovery fast and less invasive.

Objective To explore the strategies of diagnosis and treatment of severe multiple injuries in Emergency Intensive Care Unit (EICU).Methods The clinical data of 226 patients with severe multiple injuries were analyzed retrospectively.188 patients were treated by surgical operation, and 38 patients were not treated by surgical operation. Results Among these patients,46 patients (accounted for 20.3%)were with pulmonary infection and atelectasis,41 patients (accounting for 18.1%)were with multiple -organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS), 35 patients (accounted for 15.5%)were with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS),and 19 patients (accounted for 8.4%)were with stress ulceration and bleeding.198 patients (accounted for 87.6%)were successfully rescued, and 28 patients (accounted for 12.3%)died.The main cause of death in the early stage was the serious craniocerebral injury, and the main cause of death in the later stage was the multiple -organ dysfunction. Conclusion EICU plays a very important role in comprehensive treatment of severe multiple injuries, and can obviously increase the success rate of treatment and cure of severe multiple injuries.

Objective: To analyze the mid long term results of prosthetic valves replacement. Methods: 2?141 patients underwent prosthetic valve replacement from 1978 to 2001, and 1?681 patients were followed up by completion of 78.5%, cumulate of 8?021.1 patient years and averages of 4.77 patient years each. The data were analyzed by multi factor regression and T test. Results: 92 patients died after operation. The 5 year and 10 year survival rates were (92.3?2.2)% and (90.1?2.7)%, respectively. The main complications were thromboembolism, valve mechanical malfunction, peri prosthetic leak, hemolysis and SBE. The heart function (NYHA) was significantly improved after valve replacement. Conclusion: The mid long term results of prosthetic valve replacement are rather satisfactory with low mortality and morbidity. Subvalvular structure preservation and tricuspid annuloplasty contribute can greatly improved heart function. Satisfactory myocardial protection during CPB is the key of successful operation.

Objective:To explore application value of dance movement therapy in the chemotherapy of young and middle-aged patients with breast cancer, so as to provide reference for rehabilitation nursing. Methods:By convenient sampling method, 90 young and middle-aged female breast cancer patients during chemotherapy from June 2020 to June 2021 in Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University were enrolled in the present study. They were assiged to experimental group and control group with 45 cases in each group according to the enrolled ward. The control group received routine nursing and the experimental group received 4 cycles of dance movement therapy. Before and after intervention, the effects were assessed by Cancer Fatigue Scale (CFS) and Patient-Generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA) as well as biochemical nutrition indexes. Results:After intervention, the physical fatigue score, emotional fatigue score, cognitive fatigue score and total CFS score were (8.29 ± 3.58), (7.74 ± 1.68), (5.57 ± 1.11), (21.59 ± 4.41) points in the experimental group, which were significantly lower than (9.86 ± 3.49), (8.95 ± 2.62), (6.27 ± 1.70), (25.09 ± 4.33) points in the control group ( t values were 2.07-3.71, all P<0.05). After intervention, the PG-SGA score was (2.81 ± 0.71) points in the experimental group, which was significantly lower than (3.29 ± 1.15) points in the control group ( t=2.37, P<0.05). Conclusions:Dance movement therapy can alleviate the cancer related fatigue and promote nutritional status of young and middle-aged female breast cancer patients with chemotherapy.
