1.Knowledge chain-based practice and thinking in subject-guided reading of classic ancient books
Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2017;26(8):65-68
The serial knowledge of cognate thoughts, culture, systems, language, engraving and edition of classic ancient books was organized based on their subject-guided reading activities, which plays a rather effective role in promoting the readers to read them. The selection of subject-guided reading activity contents, forms of subject-guided reading activity design, implementation of subject-guided reading activity were analyzed with the ancient e-dition of《Handbook of prescriptions for emergency》as an example. A knowledge chain-based subject-guided reading model of classic ancient books was proposed for promoting the reading of ancient books on traditional Chinese medi-cine and the reading of Chinese national culture in related academic libraries.
2.The role of antimicrobial peptides in immune system

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(01):-
Many species of animals contain antimicrobial peptides as components of their immune systems. Many antimicrobial peptides have a broad spectrum of activity not only against gram negative and gram positive bacteria but also against antibiotic resistant bacteria, fungi, viruses, and parasites. Such peptides can act in synergy with other host molecules to kill pathogens. It has been found that certain peptides have a high affinity for bacterial products, allowing them to modulate the host inflammatory response to sepsis. They have also been found that they have the ability to recruit inflammatory cells. These properties as well as some other functions of antimicrobial peptides enable them to have an important impact in innate immunity.

Journal of Apoplexy and Nervous Diseases 2024;41(6):515-520
Acute symptomatic seizures secondary to autoimmune encephalitis refers to seizures that occur during the active stage of immune-mediated encephalitis, and autoimmune-related epilepsy refers to disorders with an immune etiol-ogy and a long-term predisposition to unprovoked seizures. Both diseases often have poor response to antiepileptic drugs, and early identification of immune etiology and initiation of immunotherapy may help patients achieve a good prognosis. However, there are no guidelines for the use of drugs in patients with different types of symptomatic seizures, and there is also a lack of diagnostic criteria and treatment principles for autoimmune-related epilepsy. This article reviews and dis-cusses the two diseases from the aspects of possible pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, and recommended treatment methods,so as to provide a theoretical basis for diagnosis and treatment and help to determine future research directions.
7.Clinical features,recurrence risk,and long-term prognosis of anti-myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein-IgG associated disorders: An analysis of 91 cases
Journal of Apoplexy and Nervous Diseases 2025;42(4):341-351
Objective To investigate the clinical features and treatment of anti-myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein-IgG associated disorders (MOGAD) and the risk factors for recurrence and poor long-term prognosis. Methods A total of 91 patients who were diagnosed with MOGAD in The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2018 to March 2023 were enrolled, and their clinical features and auxiliary examinations were analyzed,as well as the risk factors for recurrence and long-term prognosis. Results Among the 91 patients,69 experienced the first attack of MOGAD,and there were 39 female patients and 47 children (aged<18 years). The proportion of patients with acute disseminated encephalomyelitis among children was significantly higher than that among adults (42.6% vs 18.2%,P=0.012),while the proportion of patients with transverse myelitis among adults was significantly higher than that among children (29.5% vs 2.1%,P<0.001). The proportion of patients receiving hormones combined with immunoglobulins during hospitalization among children was significantly higher than that among adults (36.2% vs 11.4%,P=0.006),and the children had a significantly better Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) score than the adults at discharge [1(0,1) vs 2(0,4.75),P=0.007]. Visual impairment was an independent risk factor for increased recurrence risk (OR=4.215,95%CI 1.236-14.377,P=0.022). A higher EDSS score at discharge (OR=5.05,95%CI 1.27-20.07,P=0.021) and a higher number of attacks (OR=9.235,95%CI 1.352-63.10,P=0.023) were independent factors for poor long-term prognosis, while a steroid maintenance time of >5 weeks at initial diagnosis (OR=0.001,95%CI 0.00-0.33,P=0.001) was an independent factor for improving long-term prognosis. Conclusion For patients newly diagnosed with MOGAD,especially those with a high EDSS score at discharge and features indicating a high risk of recurrence (such as visual impairment),it is recommended that they receive an appropriate course of steroid maintenance treatment after acute-stage treatment.

Chinese Journal of Pediatrics 2021;59(3):195-200
Objective:To summarize the effect of Chinese Children′s Cancer Group (CCCG) Wilms tumor (WT)-2015 protocol. Methods:This was a prospective study. CCCG-WT-2015 protocol was revised on the basis of the CCCG-WT-2009 protocol. Clinical data of 288 children diagnosed with newly diagnosed kidney neoplasms in fourteen pediatric centers between September 2015 to December 2018 were summarized. The age of onset, distribution of pathological subtypes, staging, curative effect and prognostic factors of these children were analyzed. Kaplan-Meier method was used for survival curve and Log-Rank method was used for univariate analysis. Results:Among 288 cases with kidney neoplasms, there were 261 cases of WT, including 254 cases (97.3%) with favorable histology (FH) WT and 7 cases (2.7%) with unfavorable histology WT (UFHWT). The 3 year events free survival (EFS) rate for FHWT and UFHWT were (88.9±2.1)% and (80.0±17.9)%, which were better than that in WT-2009 (81.2% and 71.7%). In the 96 cases of stage Ⅲ/Ⅳ FHWT with indications for radiotherapy, 76 cases received radiation, another 20 cases received M protocol chemotherapy (cyclophosphamide, etoposide, gentamycin, vincristine and adriamycin) instead of radiation. The 3 year EFS rate for these two groups were (84.7±4.3)% and (84.7±8.1)%(χ 2=0.015, P=0.902). There were 22 renal clear cell sarcoma and 5 malignant rhabdoid tumor, 3 year EFS rate of them was (94.4±5.4)% and (20.0±17.9)%. Univariate analysis was performed for age, gender, pathological type, stage, whether rupture occurred during operation, whether complete remission (CR) occurred at the end of treatment and radiotherapy. Pathological types (χ 2=44.329, P<0.01) and failure to achieve CR at the end of the treatment (χ 2=49.459, P<0.01) were independent factor for predicting survival. Conclusion:Compared with CCCG-WT-2009, treatment of renal tumors in CCCG-WT-2015 study yielded good survival outcome, which can be further applied.
