Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control 2016;28(3):340-342
Objective To understand the prevalence and awareness of Toxoplasma gondii of the pregnant women in Bazhou City,Hebei Province,so as to provide the evidence for formulating effective prevention and control interventions. Methods The pregnant women with prenatal screening in the Fourth People’s Hospital in Langfang City were selected and investigated with questionnaires. A part of the pregnant women were randomly sampled and received the ELISA test of the antibodies against T. gondii. Results Totally 672 pregnant women accepted the questionnaire survey, with an awareness rate of 19.49%(131/672). Totally 526 pregnant women of them were randomly selected to take the ELISA test, with a positive rate of 13.88%(73/526). The awareness rate and infection rate of T. gondii were related to the education level, occupation and place of residence (c2=5.89-17.62,all P<0.05),and the infection rate was negatively related to the awareness rate(c2=5.37,P<0.05). Con?clusion Increasing the awareness rate of toxoplasmosis knowledge is one of the effective methods to control the disease. There?fore, the health education about T. gondii should be carried out actively.

Journal of China Pharmaceutical University 2017;48(1):82-88
This study aimed at investigating the effects and mechanisms of 7-O-succinyl macrolactin A in inhibi-ting human lung cancer. After treatment of human lung cancer cell lines H460 with 7-O-succinyl macrolactin A, MTS assay was employed to determine cell proliferation;crystal violet staining was used to detect cell adhesion of H460;transwell chamber assay and wound healing assay were performed to evaluate cell invasion and migration;and flow cytometry assay was adopted to evaluate cell cycle. Western blotting and real-time PCR were also employed to determine the expression of β-catenin, c-Myc, Cyclin D1, vimentin, N-cadherin, CD44, integrin β1, Bcl-2 , Survivin and MMP-2/9. The phosphorylation of AKT and mTOR was determined as well. In vitro prolifera-tion of H460 was inhibited significantly by 7-O-succinyl macrolactin A. Cell adhesion, invasion and migration abilities were also attenuated. Western blot and real-time PCR showed that the expressions of β-catenin, c-Myc, cyclin D1, vimentin, N-cadherin, CD44, integrin β1, Bcl-2, Survivin and MMP-2/9 were down-regulated by 7-O-succinyl macrolactin A. It was also found that phosphorylation of AKT and mTOR was inhibited by 7-O-succinyl macrolactin A. 7-O-succinyl macrolactin A can inhibit the in vitro growth and invasion of human lung cancer cell lines H460.

Objective To compare the accuracy of intraocular lens(IOL)power calculations by using 6 formulas(SRK-T,Haigis,Binkhorst-Ⅱ,Hoffer Q,Holladay-1,SRK-Ⅱ)in different axial lengths of the eye,in order to improve the accuracy of predicating IOL powers for patients after cataract surgery.Design Retrospective comparative clinical analysis.Participants 169 patients(169 eyes)with age-related cataract underwent regular phacoemulsification and posterior chamber IOL implantation. Methods 169 eyes with cataract were divided into five groups according to the axial lengths:AXL≤22mm,22mm28.4mm.The axial lengths and keratometry of the 169 eyes were measured with A-mode ultrasound before operation, and the actual postoperative refraction was measured with the methods of computer and retinoscopy optometry when patients could gain best corrected visual acuity one month after surgery or later.Inputting the axial lengths, keratometry and IOL powers into A-mode ultrasound, the predicted postoperative refraction was calculated with SRK-T,Haigis,Binkhorst-Ⅱ,Hoffer Q,Holladay-1,SRK-Ⅱ formulas, and the differences of predicted and actual postoperative refractions in different axial lengths were compared.Main Outcome Measures The absolute value with the differences of the predicted and actual postoperative refractions,i.e.absolute predicted errors.Results(1)Comparing the difference of predicted and actual postoperative refraction, there was no statistical significance between the five formulas in the groups of axial length(AXL)≤22mm,22mm28.4mm,but the average absolute predicted error of Haigis and SRK-T formulas is significantly smaller than SRK-Ⅱand Binkhorst-Ⅱ formulas. Conclusions In existing sample size, there was no obvious influence on postoperative refraction when using other five formulas except Binkhorst-Ⅱ.But in the extremely long AXL group,Haigis and SRK-T formulas have some ascendancy over the other formulas.

Objective To discuss the diagnosis characteristics and clinical value of posterior vitreous detachment (PVD) by color Doppler flow imaging(CDFI). Methods One thousand and two cases were examed by CDFI for the diagnosis standard and property of PVD. Results Typical acoustic properties of PVD: the B scan may show a very fluid thick line. There were two types complete PVD and part PVD based on the vitreous separated from the optic nerve. Kinetic echography typically showed a very fluid, undulating after movement of the completely PVD. Part PVD had more than one dot with attachments to the retina and less mobile than complete PVD. There was not blood flow signal on the PVD by CDFI. Conclusions Ultrasonography for PVD not only exactitudes, but also provides foundation for clinic.

BACKGROUND:Finite element contact analysis was performed in premolars of lower mandible with enamelo-dentinal junction defects, which provided biomechanical evidence for the prevention of wedge-shaped defect and occlusion treatment.
OBJECTIVE:To analyze the effects of undermining damage of the enamelo-dentinal junction on the stress distribution of sclerous tissues of dental cervix.
METHODS:Triangle defects were established and models of wedge-shaped defect were designed in mandibular premolar along the enamelo-dentinal junction. The stresses during tightly biting and masticatory movement were simulated. Nonlinear contact analysis was conducted in sclerous tissues of mandibular premolar in the buccal cervical region.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:By simulating the stresses during tightly biting and masticatory movement, the stresses were concentrated in the defected regions of mandibular premolar at the enamelo-dentinal junction. With the defect length increased in size, the stress value and the magnitude of the stress field both increased. These indicated that the destruction of enamelo-dentinal junction altered stress distribution in the buccal cervical region. In the clinic, wedge-shaped defect should be fil ed promptly.
