This paper introduces the structure, components, function and technical design of the multi -physiological information system, which can not only collect but also register and check parameters. The parameters acquired by the system include electrocardiogram, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and pulse.

Objective to investigate the efficacy of functional electrical stimulation(FES)on the postoperative treatment of lumbar disc hernia-tion. Methods Informed consents were obtained from all the subjects before the study. totally 60 patients who had remnant nervous lesion after sur-gery of lumbar disc herniation were divided into two groups:FES group and Control group. FES group received treatment since the first day after sur-gery. the parameters of therapeutic apparatus were as follows:35 Hz,0.28 ms,1 time daily and 30 min each time. the intensity of the treatment was the maximum tolerated that the patients can take. the course was 4 weeks. the control group during the study did not receive any stimulation. the myodynamia of hallux dorsiflexion and JOA score of patients were recorded and analyzed. Results After 2 weeks treatment,the myodynamia of FES group was 15.10±5.03,which was significantly larger than that of the control group at 12.03±6.30(P < 0.05). After 4 weeks treatment,the myody-namia of FES group was 20.43±5.73,which was significantly larger than that of the control group at 14.57±7.17(P < 0.05). After 4 weeks of treat-ment,the JOA score of FES group was 24.63±1.91,which was significantly higher than that of the control group at 19.87±2.33(P < 0.05). Conclu-sion After 2-4 weeks of functional electrical stimulation therapy,myodynamia of hallux dorsiflexion in FES group was significantly improved. And at the 4th week after operation,JOA score was more higher than that of the control group. Functional electrical stimulation in the treatment of remnant nervous lesion after postoperative of lumbar disc herniation has exact curative effect,which is worthy of popularization.

Morphology and microstructure of five herbal .medicines of the Bidens genus (Compositae )inChina were studied, and their resource utilization discussed. They are B. bipinnata, B.biternata, B. parviflora, B. tripartita and B. frondosa.

Objective To explore the expression and clinical significance of Twist. E-cadherin and N-cadherin in gallbladder carcinoma. Methods From 2000 to 2008, in Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital, the expression of Twist, E-cadherin and N-cadherin protein were detected in 79 surgically removed gallbladder carcinoma tissue specimens in paraffin blocks and 20 normal gallbladder tissue specimens by tissue microarray technique and immunohistochemistry. Results Compared with normal gallbladder tissues, the expression of Twist and N-cadherin was up-regulated in gallbladder carcinoma tissues and the positive percentage was 68.3％ and 49.4％ respectively, while which both were 1/20 in normal gallbladder tissues. The percentage of high E-cadherin expression in gallbladder carcinoma tissues was only 27.8 ％, which was significantly lower than that in normal gallbladder tissues (20/20;X2 ＝29.31, P＜0. 05). The expression of Twist was correlated with T classification, lymph node metastasis, distant organ metastasis, hepatoduodenal ligament invasion, lymphatic invasion and UICC stage of gallbladder carcinoma (P＜0.05). The expression of E-cadherin was correlated with T classification, distant organ metastasis, hepatoduodenal ligament invasion, differentiation degree and UICC stage of gallbladder carcinoma (P＜0.05). The expression of N-cadherin was only correlated with lymphatic invasion of gallbladder carcinoma (P ＜0.05 ). There was significant negative correlation between Twist and E-cadherin expression (P＜0. 01). All the 79 gallbladder carcinoma patients were followed up after the surgery, the mean follow-up time was 30.6±14.3months. The 3-year survival rates of patients with low or high Twist expressions were 66％ and 7％ respectively,there was significant difference between the two groups(P＜0. 01). The 3-year survival rates of patients with low or high E-cadherin expressions were 25 ％ and 86 ％ respectively, the difference of two groups was significant(P＜0.01). The 3-year survival rates of patients with low or high Ncadherin expressions were 39％ and 41％ respectively, there was no significant difference between the two groups(P＞0.05). The multivariate analysis indicated that the Twist expression was one of independent prognostic factors of gallbladder carcinoma. Conclusion The abnormal expression of Twist and E-cadherin was correlated with the development and progression of gallbladder carcinoma,and Twist expression was one of the independent prognostic factors of gallbladder carcinoma.

[Summary] A total of 352 pregnant women were selected in Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University. Serum levels of TSH and FT4 were determined and pregnancy outcome were observed in all subjects. According to the standard of American Thyroid Association(ATA) published in 2011 and the Chinese Guideline of Gestation Thyroid Disease published in 2012, the subjects were grouped into control(0. 1≤TSH≤2. 5 mIU/ L), observation(2. 55. 17 mIU/ L)during first-trimester(T1)and control(0. 2≤TSH≤3. 0 mIU/ L), observation(3. 05. 22 mIU/ L) during second-trimester(T2). The results showed that the rupture of membranes, preterm labor, and total obstetrical adverse events in the observation group were significantly higher than those in control group during T1(all P<0. 05), no statistical significance between control group and treatment group. The rupture of membrances in the observation group was significantly higher compared with control group during T2 ( P < 0. 05), no significant difference in other adverse pregnancy outcomes between these two groups. Compared with control group during T1, the proportion of adverse pregnancy outcomes in observation group during T1 was significantly increased(P<0. 05). The elevated TSH is one of the risk factors for the increased incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes at the first half of pregnancy, especially during T1. L-T4 treatment reduces the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes.

Objective To investigate the expression and significance of estrogen receptor alpha in renal tissue of immunoglobulin A (IgA) nephropathy.Methods Fifty renal tissue samples including forty five cases of IgA nephropathy and five cases of normal expression were collected.The expression of estrogen receptor αt (ERα) was detected by immunohistochemistry method,and its relationship with clinical parameters and the degree of glomerular damage were analyzed.Results ERα was located in the glomerular and renal tubules.With the severity of the lesion,the expression of ERα in renal tissue of IgA nephropathy decreased gradually (P =0.001) and its expression was associated with estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR),serum creatinine (Scr),and pathologic grade of IgA nephropathy (r =0.876,-0.818,and -0.736,P ＜ 0.05),The expression of ERα was significantly decreased in hypertensive patients with IgA nephropathy,and the difference was statistically significant compared with that in non-hypertensive group (P =0.011).Conclusions The expression of ERα in renal tissue of IgA nephropathy was significantly decreased and there was a correlation between the degree of renal tissue damage,suggesting that ERα might play a role in the development of renal disease.

Objective To investigate the mRNA expression of UPA and MMP-9 in gastric carcinoma and their correlation with histological type, growth-type, differentiation, vessel invasion, metastasis and prognosis. MethodsIn situ hybridization was used to detect the mRNA expression of UPA and MMP-9. ResultsIn situ hybridization revealed that among 105 cases, the positive rates of UPA mRNA and MMP-9 mRNA were both 58.1%. There was no significant relationship between UPA mRNA and histological type( r _ s = 0.123, P =0.210)and differentiation ( r _ s =0.102, P =0.298)of the tumor. However, there was a significant difference between growth-type( r _ s =0.344, P =0.001),tumor invasion depth( r _ s =0.296, P =0.002),vessel invasion( r _ s =0.198, P =0.042),lymph node( r _ s =0.332, P =0.001)and distant metastasis( r _ s =0.530, P =0.001);there was no significant relationship between MMP-9 mRNA staining and histological type( r _ s =0.143, P =0.145)and differentiation( r _ s =0.102, P =0.298)of the tumor. However, there was a statistically significant difference between growth-type( r _ s =0.267, P =0.006),tumor invasion depth ( r _ s =0.335, P =0.001)、vessel invasion( r _ s =0.209, P =0.032),lymph node( r _ s =0.343, P =0.001)and distant metastasis( r _ s =0.468, P =0.001);There was a positive relationship between UPA mRNA and MMP-9 mRNA expression( r _ s =0.237, P =0.015). The mean survival time in cases with positive UPA mRNA and MMP-9 mRNA expression were significantly shorter than that of cases with negative expression. ConclusionThe mRNA expression of UPA and MMP-9 can predict the invasion and metastasis of gastric carcinoma, They can be used as markers of prognosis of gastric carcinoma in clinical practice.

Protocarcinogenic gene Her-2/neu was closely related to the development of gastric cancer. Herceptin is an antibody according to Her-2/neu and is used for treating breast cancer. Topo Ⅱ α is the important Nuclear enzymes needed by DNA duplicate, and is closely related to the proliferation of malignant tumors, so it is the important target enzymes of cancer chemotherapy. Her-2/neu and Topo Ⅱ α are located in the same chromosomes, there are correlation between the two genes' proliferation or loss. We reviewed the expression of Her-2/neu and Topo Ⅱ α in the stomach and the new progress of the correlation between the two genes home and abroad in this paper, which provides new methods for the prevention and treatment of gastric cancer.

Objective To compare the 2 methods of the flow cytometry and the microcolumn gel agglutination assay for testing anti-ABO Ig G antibody.Methods The flow cytometry and the microcolumn gel agglutination assay were adopted to detect the an-ti-ABO IgG antibody in the O blood type pregnant women(experimental group)and the A/B blood type pregnant women (control group).The difference in the positive rates between the experimental and control groups and the correlation between these two methods were analysed.The different titers of samples were selected for detection on different days to compare their reproducibili-ty.Results 300 samples from the experimental goup and 300 samples from the control group were collected.The detection results of 2 methods showed that the positive rates of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group with statistical difference(P <0.05).The correlation coefficients(rs )between these two methods were 0.694.The coefficient of variation in the flow cytometry was smaller than that in the microcolumn gel agglutination assay(P <0.05).Conclusion ABO blood type in-compatibility is more common in O type pregnant women.The flow cytometry and the microcolumn gel agglutination assay possess good correlation.The reproducibility of the flow cytometry is better than that of microcolumn gel agglutination assay.

Objective In order to investigate the influence of reelin deficiency on the hippocampal development, the histochemical characteristics of hippocampal pyramidal cells and granule cells of reeler mice were analyzed, therefore, reelin's function would be better understood with more morphological evidences. Methods With immunofluorescent double labeling, the pyramidal cells, granule cells and mossy cells in hippocampi between wild type and reeler mice were labeled. Results The development and lamination of hippocampal cortical plate were in disorder. Pyramidal cells and granule cells dispersed, and moreover, granule cells proliferated rapidly and migrated into hilus, so that the bound between granule layer and hilus disappeared. Conclusion As a stop signal and regulatory signal, reelin plays important roles in neuronal migration of developing cortical plate, especially in the regulation of granule cell proliferation.
