We have studied the inhibitory effect of polysaccharides mixture on Ehrlich Ascites Carcinoma (EAC), Sarcoma 180 (S180), reticulocytic leukemia (L615) in mice. It is found that polysaccharides mixture could obviously prolong the survival duration of mice suffering from tumour and inhibit neoplastic proliferation. Thymus and adrenal glands atrophy in mice caused by vaccination of cancer cells was also remarkably resisted.The results of our experiments show that polysaccharides mixture is a safe,effective and promising pharmaceutic preparation of traditional Chinese medicine. It deserves to be further studied and developed.

Objective To explore the experience of nursing patients with large area bum.Methods Thirty-one hospitalized patients with large area bums in our hospital during January 2012 to July 2013 were set as the control group,where fasting was done within 24 hours at admission and enteral nutrition was done after surviving shock phase.Another 31 patients with large area bums in the hospital during August 2013 to August 2015 were set as observation group,where short peptide enteral nutrition powder was administered within 24 hours at admission,followed by enteral nutrition was done after surviving shock phase.The two groups were compared in terms of nutrition indexes and intestinal complication rate before admission and 4 weeks after treatment.Result After enteral nutrition,the nutrition indexes in the observation group were all better than those the control group (P＜0.05) and the rates of complications on gastric retention and reflux,aspiration were insignificantly different between the two groups (P＞0.05);the rates of complication on abdominral pain and diarrhea were lower those of the control group (all P＜0.05).Conclusion For patients with large area bums,early enteral nutrition can better the nutrition and it is a safe therapy.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of different processing methods on 4 kinds of flavonoids contents in salt-pro-cessed Cuscuta chinensis. METHODS:Salt-processed C. chinensis piece was processed with different baking temperature (70 ℃, 100℃,130℃,160℃,190℃and 210℃),baking time(10 min,15 min,30 min,45 min,60 min and 75 min)and moisten-ing time(0.5 h,1 h,2 h,4 h and 6 h). HPLC was adopted for contents determination of hyperoside,rutin,quercetin and kaemp-ferol:the column was Synergi 4u Hydro-Rp 80A with mobile phase of methanol- 0.1% phosphoric acid (gradient elution) at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,the detection wavelength was 360 nm,and column temperature was 35 ℃. RESULTS:The linear range was 0.416-12.48 μg for hyperoside (r=0.999 9),0.14-4.2 μg for rutin (r=0.999 9),0.185-5.55 μg for quercetin (r=0.999 9) and 0.078-2.34 μg (r=0.999 8);RSDs of precision,stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 3%;recoveries were 95.55%-99.74%(RSD=2.12%,n=6),95.96%-101.42%(RSD=2.01%,n=6),95.76%-102.75%(RSD=2.77%,n=6), 99.42%-104.93%(RSD=2.02%,n=6). The flavonoids in salt-processed C. chinensis showed highest contents when baking tem-perature was 160℃,baking time was 60 min and moistening time was 2 h. CONCLUSIONS:Different processing methods have certain effects on flavonoids contents in salt-processed C. chinensis.

ObjectiveTo analyze literature on acupuncture-related adverse events published in periodicals in Science Citation Index (SCI) and Medllars Online(Medline).MethodsWe searched the Web of Science database and the Medline database to identify articles about the safety of acupuncture therapy.Case reports,case series,surveys and other observational studies were included if they reported factual data,but review articles,translations and clinical trials were excluded.ResultsFindings:The inclusion criteria were met by 232 articles that in total reported on 389 cases of adverse events after acupuncture.Conclusion Acupuncture therapy is relatively safe,most acupuncture-related adverse events can be avoided by standardized clinical practice.Establishment of acupuncture medical safety standard system is extremely urgent.

BACKGROUND:Both in vitro and in vivo studies have confirmed that, bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) regulates the differentiation of osteoblasts and chondroblasts, induces heterotopic bone formation, promotes fracture healing, and controls the morphology of skeleton in mammals.
OBJECTIVE:To treat chronic bone defects using particle gun containing BMP2 gene eukaryotic expression plasmid via local injection.
METHODS:A total of 72 healthy New Zealand white rabbits were applied to establish chronic bone defect model in the rabbit radius. According to the length of bone defect, the rabbits were divided into three groups:1.5 cm group, 2.0 cm group, 2.5 cm group. Each group was further randomly assigned into two subgroups:treatment group (BMP-2 gene transfection) and control group (natural y healing). X-ray examinations were performed at 1, 3, 8 and 9 weeks after transfection, and soft tissue between the bone defects was harvested to detect BMP-2 using western blot analysis;and radius specimens were taken for gross observation at the same time points, to evaluate the healing.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) Gross specimen observation:bone cal us formation in treatment group was general y more than that in control group. (2) Lane-Sandhu X-ray score in treatment group was significantly higher than that in control group at 1, 3, 8, 9 weeks after transfection (P<0.05). (3) BMP-2 concentration in treatment group was significantly higher than that in control group at each time point (P<0.05). The local transfer of particle gun-mediated BMP-2 gene is an effective therapy of chronic bone defect.

BACKGROUND:Dexamethasone can improve the cellapoptosis and decrease the number of osteoblasts and bone cells through increasing the time of cellcycle. Protein kinase C is a kind of intraecellular singnal transduction pathways, and there are related reports on the relationship between protein kinase C and cellapoptosis. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the mechanism of dexamethasone-induced osteoblast apoptosis via protein kinase C intracellular signal transduction pathway. METHODS:Fetal rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells were col ected for osteogenic induction, and the cells were divided into dexamethasone group, phorbol group and star cytochalasin group. The cells in the dexamethasone group were added with 1×10-6 mol/L dexamethasone, the cells in the phorbol group were added with 1×10-6 mol/L dexamethasone and 1×10-7 mol/L phorbol, while the cells in the star cytochalasin group were added with 1×10-6 mol/L dexamethasone and 1×10-7 RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Dexamethasone could induce apoptosis significantly, and after added with mol/L star cytochalasin. The proliferation and inhibition of the cells in different intervention groups were observed, and the content of protein kinase C in the cellmembrane and cytoplasm was measured. phorbol, the apoptosis was increased significantly;while after added with star cytochalasin, the apoptosis was decreased significantly. After added with dexamethasone, the content of protein kinase C in the cytoplasm was significantly decreased, while increased in the cellmembrane. At different time points after added with dexamethasone, the change of the content of protein kinase C in the cytoplasm and cellmembrane was most significant at 30 minutes. The results indicated that mechanism of dexamethasone-induced osteoblast apoptosis was correlated with protein kinase C, and dexamethasone was the agonist of protein kinase C. After the cells were stimulated, the protein kinase C in the cytoplasm wil moved to the cellmembrane, and then the content of protein kinase C in the cytoplasm was decreased, while increased in the cellmembrane.

Objective To analyze the risk factors associated with morbidity and mortality of aortic dissection through the retrospective analysis.Methods Two hundred and thirty-two patients with aortic dissection(AD) who were treated in the Central Hospital of Taian were select as cases group,and were divided into A group of dissection involved ascending aorta with 91 cases and B group of dissection not involved ascending aorta with 141 cases according to type of Stanford.And 232 cases patients with chest pain in the same period of hospitalization and exclusion of aortic dissection were randomly selected as the control group.Through the history data collection,the relationship between age,sex,smoking and drinking history,history of previous illness,family history of cardiovascular disease,predisposing factors and the incidence of AD,and the difference of risk factors between A type and B type were analized.Single factor and multi factor Logistic regression analysis were performed on part of the related factors in the case group.Results Smoking history,hypertension history,coronary atherosclerotic heart disease history,Marfan syndrome and hyperuricemia of cases group were higher than of control group (x2 =6.165,11.700,9.260,14.070,35.170;P＜ 0.05).Marfan syndrome,coronary atherosclerotic heart disease history and hyperlipidemia history of A group were higher than of B group,hypertension history of B group was higher than A group,and the differences were significant (x2 =3.998,4.534,7.308,7.827;P＜0.05).In the correction of other factors,the risk of death in patients with type A was 3.27times that of the B type(P＜0.001),the risk of death in patients with a history of hypertension were 1.48 times more than that without history of hypertension(P=0.014),the risk of death in patients with hypotension shock were 2.27 times more than that without hypotension shock (P ＜ 0.001).Conclusion History of smoking,history of hypertension,history of coronary heart disease and hyperuricemia are the risk factors of aortic dissection.A aortic dissection type,a history of hypertension,and hypotension or cardiogenic shock are the independent risk factors causing the death of patients with aortic dissection.

BACKGROUND:It has been studied that the distribution of bone morphogenetic protein 2 is regular under bone defect situation. OBJECTIVE:To observe the expression of bone morphogenetic protein 2 in rabbit radial defect site with different lengths. METHODS:Forty-eight New Zealand rabbits were divided into two groups randomly, 0.5 cm bone defect and 3.0 cm bone defect were made by wire saw at the middle part of radius bone after anaesthesia. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Western blot results showed that in the 0.5 cm bone defect group, the expression of bone morphogenetic protein 2 of the tissues in the bone defect site was increased gradual y at 1, 3, 4 weeks after operation, and the expression in each defect group was increased when compared with that immediately after injury (P<0.05). In the 3.0 cm bone defect group, the expression of bone morphogenetic protein 2 of tissues in bone defect site was increased gradual y and reached to its peak at 3 weeks after the operation (P<0.05), and the peak value in the 3.0 cm bone defect group was significantly higher than that in 0.5 cm bone defect group (P<0.05). The peak value was maintained in high level. The comparison of bone cal us formation showed that the bone cal us formation of 3.0 cm bone defect group was less than that of the 0.5 cm bone defect group at 3 and 4 weeks after operation (P<0.05). The results indicate that expression of the bone morphogenetic protein 2 in 3.0 cm bone defect site is increased significantly, but the expression level cannot make the bone defect heal itself.

Objective: To investigate occupational and procreation health of roadsweeping female sanitation workers in a city district. Methods: Using cross-sectional survey methods, all 303 the road sweeping female sanitation workers of one company were selected and interviewed face to face with questionnaires in june 2017. Data were analysed by SPSS22.0 statistical software. Results: The total prevalence of reproduction tract infection was 21.47%. The prevalence of uterine fibroids was 6.38%, and menstruation abnormal rate was 25.17%. The sanitation worker of menstruation abnormal rate was 31.03%, which were exposed low temperature, automobile exhaust and air contaminant at the same time, or else was 19.61%. There were statistical significance between them. (χ²=5.161, P<0.05) The sanitation worker of menstruation abnormal rate was 28.81%, which were not satisfied with women/s rights protection, or else was 11.67%. There were statistical significance between them. (χ²=7.435, P<0.01) . Conclusion Female sanitation workers in the city district were exposed to many occupational hazards. The status of procreation health among road sweeping female sanitation workers in the city district is not optimistic. Occupational health protection and laborers's rights protection should be emphasized to improve health status of female sanitation workers.
