Objective To evaluate the training effect of Public health emergencies.Methods The testing materials from the training course on public health emergencies in longgang district of Shenzhen in 2009 were analyzed.Results Of all 162 students,98.2% considered the training course was completely important,97.3% students considered the training was very necessary,after training,80% students considered the master degree of related knowledge was improved,93.8% students considered the effect of training on the role of dealing with public health emergency training was very well or average.Conclusions Emergency response training for dealing with the public health emergencies is very effective and completely necessary.
2.Aptamer-based Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer Method for Determination of Estradiol

A highly sensitive fluorescence spectroscopic method was established for the selective determination of estradiol, which took advantages of the excellent molecular recognition capability of aptamer and the energy transfer between the specific fluorescent groups. The effects of the pH value, buffer constituent and concentration, the concentration of DNA, the experimental temperature and response time on the detection of estradiol were studied. Under the optimal conditions (50 mmol/L BR buffer solution with pH value at 7. 4, 1. 0×10-7 mol/L for each DNA strand, incubation at 45 ℃, response time 19 min), the change of the fluorescence intensity (ΔI) versus the logarithm of the concentration of estradiol ( lgC) was linear over a concentration range from 1. 0×10-11 mol/L to 5. 0×10-9 mol/L with good linear correlation (r=0. 9953). The limit of detection (LOD) was found to be 6. 0×10-12 mol/L (S/N=3). This method was successfully applied to the detection of estradiol in human urine, with the recovery in the range of 94. 0%-103. 5%. This method showed good precision and accuracy.
3.The construction of nurse post management questionnaire and small-scale empirical study

Objective To construct the nurse post management questionnaire which could suit the condition of our country such as Jiangsu province. So as to know the present situation of the cities in Jiangsu province and perfect the nurse job management mechanism by small-scale empirical study,which provides the basis for further advance the quality of nursing service. Methods Firstly,through the nurse position management guidance,to construct the first draft of the questionnaire on the basis of literature review,then carrying on two rounds of 15 expert consultation by Delphi technique. Secondly,to select different nurses,nurse managements from Jiangsu province expediently,who can take part in the small-scale survey. Results Two rounds of the recovery rate was 100%,Crs were 0.887 and 0.903. The basic content of post questionnaire was determined after two rounds of expert consultation. A total of 98 personnel were investigated in the empirical study. In terms of Jiangsu province,the differences and deficiencies of nurse management station were still exist,including settings and responsibilities, performance appraisal system,the training of nurses,job satisfaction,etc. Conclusions The research provides a comprehensive and effective tool to understand the nursing job management related issues. At present there are regional differences in nurse station management,fully reflecting the urgency and importance of further understanding and perfecting our work.

AIM: To explore the effects of selenium-enriched Spirulina platensis (Se-SP) on proliferation of hepatocytes in rat hepatectomy. METHODS: Rat hepaectomy model was conducted using male Wistar rats. The rats were randomized into five groups: operation groups with 150 (H), 50 (M) and 15 (L) mg?kg-1?d-1 of Se-SP, placebo-control (P) and sham operation group (F). 5.Endothelial cell injury correlates with inflammatory cytokine and coagulation in the patients with sepsis

Objective To observe the clinical findings about the endothelial cell injury related to the genesis of inflammatory cytokines and coagulation.Methods A total of 70 critically ill patients with SIRS (systemic inflammatory response syndrome) admitted to intensive care unit (ICU) between September 2009 and February 2010 were enrolled for a prospective and control study.According to diagnostic criteria of Sepsis/SIRS,the patients were divided into two groups:sepsis group (n =38) and SIRS group (n =32),and another 20 healthy volunteers served as control group.Patients in the sepsis group and SIRS group were matched by clinical signs of high blood pressure,diabetes and its complications.The demographics of patients including age,sex,body mass index (BMI),smoking and alcohol addict were comparable among the different groups.The 6 ml peripheral blood samples were collected within 24 h after admission to ICU for enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to detect the plasma levels of s-CD62P,TNF-α,and hsCRP.And variables of coagulation function such as platelet (PLT),prothrombin time (PT),activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT),D-dimer and antithrombin-Ⅲ (AT-Ⅲ) were analyzed during 24 h after admission to ICU.Meanwhile sequential organ failure assessment (SOFA) score of critically ill patients was evaluated.Data were expressed in mean ± standard deviation and were statistically analyzed by using SPSS 17.0 statistical software.The differences in plasma levels of s-CD62P of patients in each group were analyzed by ANOVA and Kruskal Wallis test.The relationship between s-CD62P and inflammatory cytokines as well as with coagulation were determined by Pearson correlation analysis.Changes were considered as statistically significant if P value was less than 0.05.Results ① Compared with control group and SIRS group,the levels of s-CD62P,TNF-α and high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) were significantly higher in sepsis group (P < 0.05).② The plasma levels of D-dimer,PT,APTT in sepsis group and SIRS group were significantly higher than those in control group,while the platelet count (PLT) and the activity of AT-Ⅲ were obviously lower (P < 0.05).③ In sepsis group,the plasma levels of hs-CRP and TNF-α positively correlated with PT,APTT,D-dimer,and negatively correlated with AT-Ⅲ,PLT (P < 0.05).④ Plasma levels of s-CD62P were significantly correlated with plasma levels of TNF-α,hs-CRP,D-dimer,PT,APTT,whereas correlated negatively well with PLT,AT-Ⅲ (P < 0.05).Conclusions The plasma s-CD62P concentration is elevated as a early biomarker in patients with sepsis,and it acted as one of pathogenic factors responsible for endothelial cell damage.Coagulation and mediators of inflammation promotes each other,aggravating the severity of the sepsis.The plasma s-CD62P may be the important factor associated with initiation of coagulation development and inflammatory reaction.

8.Sodium aescinate reduces glial fibriallary acidic protein expression after spinal cord injury

BACKGROUND:The methylprednisolone pulse therapy in early period of spinal cord injury can attenuate the pathological degree of spinal cord injury, however no breakthrough was found within recent 20 years.
OBJECTIVE:To observe the protection effects of sodium aescinate on the nerve cellapoptosis and expression of glial fibrial ary acidic protein (GFAP) in the early spinal cord injured rats.
METHODS:Spinal cord injury models were established with the modified Al en’s method in 180 Sprague-Dawley rats, and were randomly divided into three groups, with 60 rats in each group. Immediately after injury, the rats in three groups were intraperitoneal y injected with sodium aescinate (5 mg/kg), methylprednisolone (100 mg/kg) and equal saline, respectively, once per day. At 8 hours, 24 hours, 96 hours and 7 days, 14 days after injury, rats were sacrificed and the injured segments were resected for hematoxylin-eosin staining and immunohistochemical staining, the nerve cellapoptosis and GFAP expression were detected.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The apoptotic nerve cells were seen at 8 hours after injury and the number of apoptotic cells reached the peak at 7 days, the edema was attenuated at 14 days without less nerve cellapoptosis in al groups, significantly fewer apoptotic nerve cells can be seen in sodium aescinate and methylprednisolone groups compared with the control group (P<0.05) at each time. The expression of GFAP was increased in the time dependant manner in al groups, the increase was slow in methylprednisolone group but sharp in sodium aescinate group and control group within 96 hours. There was no difference between control group and sodium aescinate group within 24 hours (P>0.05), which was lower than methylprednisolone group (P<0.05);after 96 hours, methylprednisolone group and sodium aescinate group were both significantly lower than control group (P<0.05). Furthermore, the decreasing expression was observed in al groups after 7 days. Sodium ascinate has obvious protection effects on nerve cells in spinal cord injured rats and promotes neurological function through decreasing GFAP expression after injury. The efficacy of sodium ascinate is equal to that of methylprednisolone within 2 hours.
9.Expression and correlation of S100A4 and EGFR/PI3K signal pathway in lung adenocarcinoma

Objective To investigate the expression,clinicopathological significance and correlation of S100A4,EGFR and PI3K in lung adenocarcinoma.Methods Immunohistochemical method (EnVision two steps) was used to detect the expression of S100A4,EGFR and PI3K proteins in 84 lung adenocarcinoma tissue samples and 30 normal lung tissue samples.The relationship of S100A4,EGFR and PI3K expression with clinicopathologic factors,post-operative five-year survival and the correlations among the three proteins were analyzed.Results The positive expression rates of S100A4,EGFR and PI3Kin lung adenocarcinoma tissues were higher than those in normal tissues,respectively [(69.0 %,58/84) vs (6.7 %,2/30),(64.3 %,54/84) vs (16.7 %,5/30),(52.4 %,44/84) vs (13.3 %,4/30),P < 0.01].The expression of S100A4,EGFR and PI3K proteins were positively correlated with the differentiated degree,lymph node metastasis,clinical stages,and five-year survival (P < 0.05),but not correlated with other clinicopathologic factors (P > 0.05).The expression of S100A4 was positively correlated with EGFR and PI3K in lung adenocarcinoma (P < 0.01),and the expression of EGFR was positively correlated with PI3K (P< 0.01).Conclusions S100A4,EGFR and PI3K were closely related with the occurrence,development,metastasis and prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma.S100A4 might be an important marker in estimating biological behavior and metastasis tendence of lung adenocarcinoma.S100A4 may be correlated with EGFR and PI3K.

Objective To explore the relationship between the ET-1 and the oncogenesis, development of human esophageal cancer.
