From the total alkaloids of the root of Kopsia lainanensis Tsiang, eight compounds were isolatcd and identificd as coronaridine (Ⅰ), heyneaninc (Ⅱ), tabersonine (Ⅲ), 11-methoxytabersonine (Ⅳ), scandine (Ⅴ), N-methoxycarbonyl-11, 12-methylenedioxykopsinaline (Ⅵ), kopsinine (Ⅶ) and N-methoxycarbonyl-12-methoxykopsinaline (Ⅷ) by means of physical constants and spectral analysis

Methods Twenty-four cases of coronary heart disease and hypertension were selected. All of them were suspected of RVH. They underwent ECT and renal arterial angiography (RAA). Objective To compare the value of pacemaker implantation using the subclavian vein (SCV) puncture and thecephalic vein(CV) cutdown approach.Methods One hundred and forty-six patients were randomized into SCV group (98 patients) and CV group (48 patients).We observed the success rate,surgery duration,fluoroscopy time and complications of the two groups.Results The SCV group had significantly higher success rate,shorter duration of surgery and fluoroscopy than the CV group (success rate:100％ (98/98) vs.89％ (43/48),x2 =10.5,P ＜ 0.05 ; duration of surgery:(118 ± 35) min vs.(256 ± 75)min,t =12.12,P ＜0.01 ; duration of fluoroscopy:(15 ±5) min vs.(35 ± 10) min,t =13.08,P ＜0.01).Both groups had one case who developed compilations which were pocket hematoma and wire electrode dislocation respectively.The rate of complications was not significantly different between the two groups (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion The SCV approach should be considered a preferable access in pacemaker implantation.

Objective: To develop a way of high-quality real-time three dimension surface reconstruction for high-resolution volume data.Method 3D surface point sets of single organ were using a method of binding the threshold and morphological operations.The normal vector of every surface point was calculated.According to the gray gradients of volume data,the triangle face was replaced by surface points to describe the organ surface,and the surface was displayed with OpenGL interface of display card after defining the color and transparent of the organ surface.Result Based on hardware platform of personal computer,the reconstruction of skeleton and skin for the digitized virtual Chinese man No.1(VCH-M1) from CT database was constructed,the rendering speed was faster than 25 F/s.Conclusion The algorithm is capable of realizing a real-time rendering for 512?512?1720 high resolution volume data.

SUMMARY Left ventricular noncompaction(LVNC)is a rare congenital disorder of endomyocardial morphogenesis.Since the knowledge of aetiology and pathology is accumulating,the 2006 AHA cardiomyopathy classification sorts LVNC as one of the primary genetic cardiomyopathies.The clinical features of LVNC,however,is not as clear as its aetiology.We summarized the manifestation,hemodynamics,natural course,diagnosis,therapy and prognosis of LVNC by analyzing its clinical features of 2 cases and reviewing the latest related articles.

Purpose To observe the clinical effect of Surrounding Needling Technigue through CT Location in treating vascular dementia. Method Fifty cases of vascular dementia were randomly divided into surrounding Needling Technigue through CT location and routine acupuncture groups, 25 cases in each group,and were given surrounding Needling Technigue through CT location and routine acupuncture respectively. Results The effective rates in surrounding Needling Technigue through CT location and routine acupuncture groups were 88% and 60% respectively, and there was significant difference between the two groups, P ＜ 0.01.Conclusion Therapeutic effect of surrounding Needling Technigue through CT location in treating vascular dementia was satisfactory, and better than that of routine acupuncture.

Objective To study the effect of morin on LPS induced acute lung injury mouse model and its mechanism .Meth‐ods Thirty male C57B/L mice were randomly divided into control group ,LPS group and LPS+ morin group ,with 10 in each group .5 mg/kg LPS was instilled into the lung from an trachea intubation in LPS group and LPS+morin group .Then the mice in LPS+morin group received an intraperitoneal injection of morin (40 mg/kg) every day for the next 3 d .Others received an equal a‐mount of saline .After 72 h ,the mice were sacrificed .The bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) was collected and centrifuged;the sediments were stained with Wright‐Giemsa for total cell and neutrophil count and the supernates were prepared for ELISA .The wet and dry weight of lung was weighed to calculate the wet/dry weight ratio .HE staining was performed to examine the pathologi‐cal change of lung .Western blot was used to determined the expression of TLR4 ,IKK and NF‐κB .Results Intratracheal instillation of LPS successfully established ALI model in mouse .LPS caused significant pathological changes including inflammatory cells infil‐tration ,alveolar septa thickness ,hemorrhage and edema .The wet/dry weight ratio ,the total cell count ,neutrophil count ,TNF and IL‐1βlevel in BALF ,and the expression of TLR4 ,NF‐κB ,and IKK were all increased significantly (P<0 .05) ,which were allevia‐ted by intraperitoneal injection of morin .Conclusion Morin can dampen the inflammatory response during LPS induced ALI in mouse ,which is potentially attributed to its inhibitory effect on the activation of NF‐κB .

Objective To investigate the role of hypoxia inducible factor(HIF)-prolyl hydroxylase 1 (HPHl)and factor inhibiting HIF-1(FIH-1)in placentas in the pathogenesis and development of severe pre-eclampsia.Methods RT-PCR and western blot analyses were used to detect the HPH1 and FIH-1expression levels in placentas of 34 patients with severe pre-eclampsia and 24 cases of term pregnancy (normal pregnancy group)and their correlations with symptoms were analyzed.Results (1)The HPHI mRNA and protein expression levels in placentas of severe pre-eclampsia group were 0.40±0.04 and 59.5±3.4 separately,significantly lower than those of normal pregnancy group,0.84±0.12 and 71.6±1.7(P<0.01).The FIH-1 mRNA and protein expression levels in placentas of severe pre-eclampsia group wereQ 31 ±0.05 and 45.6±2.4 separately,significantly lower than those of normal pregnancy group,0.43±0.04 and 54.9±2.1(P<0.01).(2)The mRNA and protein expression levels of HPH1 and FIH-1 in severe pre-eclampsia group were all negatively correlated with mean arterial pressure(MAP)[the Spearman correlation coefficient was-0.854(P<0.01)],urinary protein per 24 hours[the Spearman correlation coefficient was-0.936(P<0.01)1 and the occurrence of fundus oculi artery spasm[the Spearman correlation coefficient was-0.854(P<0.01)].(3)rrhe expression of HPHl mRNA in placentas of all the 58 cases WBB 0.58±0.27.higher than the expression of FIH-1 mRNA,which was 0.39±0.10.There was a positive correlation between them.The pearson correlation coefficient was 0.686(P<0.01).The expression of HPH1 protein in placentas of all the 58 cases was 64.5±6.7,higher than the expression of FIH-1,which was 49.4±5.2.There was a positive correlation between them.The Pearson correlation coefficient was 0.947(P<0.01).Conclusion The expression imbalance of HPH1 and FIH-1in palcenta may play an important role in the pathogenesis and development of severe pre-eclampsia through inhibiting HIF-1a.

Objective To evaluate different expressions of high mobility group box 1(HMGB1)and receptor for advanced glycation end products(RAGE)in placentas and their relationship with preeclampsia.Methods Fifteen early-onset pre-eclaraptic women(early-onset pre-eclampsia group),22 late-onset pre-eclamptic women(late-onset pre-eclampsia group)and 12 normotensive women(control group)in the third trimester were recruited at the Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University from March 2006 to March 2007.The localization and levels of HMGB1 and RAGE in placentas of the three groups were detected by the strept avidin biotin-peroxidose method.Results (1)Immunoreactivities to HMGB1:positive immnnostaining for HMGB1 was observed in trophoblast,macrophages,decidual cells,vascular muscle cells,endothelial cells and placental mesenchymal cells in the placentas from the pre-eclamptic women,while a low level of immunoreactivities was observed in the placentas from healthy pregnancies;the staining was observed within both the nuclei and the cytoplasm,mainly in the cytoplasm.The cytotrophoblast,especially the nuclei was extensively positive for HMGB1 in early-onset pre-eclampsia. (2)Immunoreactivities to RAGE:positive immunostaining for HMGB1 was observed in syncytiotrophoblast,macrophages and endothelial cells in the placentas from the preeclamptic women,while a low level of immunoreactivities was observed in the placentas from healthy pregnancies:the staining was in the cytoplasm and(or)cell membrane.The trophoblast was extensively positive for RAGE in early-onset pre-eclampsia.(3)Positive rate of HMGB1 expression:the expression of HMGB1 in early-onset group(73%,11/15)and late-onset group(64%,14/22)was significantly higher than that in normal group(17%,2/12;P<0.05),but no significant difference was found in early-onset group and late-onset group(P>0.05).(4)Positive rate of RAGE expression:the expression of RAGE in early-onset group(80%,12/15)and late-onset group (82%,18/22)was significantly higher than that in normal group(25%,3/12;P<0.05),but no significant difference was found in early-onset group and late-onset group(P>0.05).Conclusions The increased expression of HMGB1 and RACE in the placenta may play an important role in the pathogenesis of pre-eclampsis.The different locations may be associated with the occurrence of different onset types of pre-eclampsia.
