Using the WISC R to judge two groups childrens IQ and the structure of intelligence. The test group included 47 children studied in special educational primary school (24 girls, 23 boys, aged from 8-11 years). The control group included 50 normal children (25 girls, 25 boys, aged from 8-11 years). All children were required to perform CATEGORY TEST. The result showed that there were significant differences in IQ between two groups. The IQ in the test group ranged from 46 69. So they could be diagnosed as Mental Retardation (MR). 14 MR children were out of balance between VIQ and PIQ. One child's PIQ was over 2SD higer than his VIQ. But the intelligence structures were very similar in two groups. There were siginificant differences on Category Test between two groups, and the result of Category Test was highly related to IQ (r=0.65). This indicated that Category Test could be used to test the thinking development of children.

Objective:To investigate the satisfaction levels of the rural elderly in Dafeng district of Yancheng, Jiangsu province with the contracted family doctor services, and to identify the factors that influence their satisfaction. The findings of this study will provide valuable insights for improving the quality of the contracted family doctor services offered to the rural elderly population. Methods:The study utilized the stratified cluster sampling method to select elderly individuals aged 60 years and above from Dafeng district, Yancheng city for a questionnaire survey.Specifically, the study focused on elderly individuals who had participated in contracted family doctor services for more than six months. The survey aimed to gather information on the elderly population's general situation, as well as their understanding, utilization, and satisfaction with contracted family doctor services. The satisfaction of contracted family doctor services was analyzed using the chi square test and multivariate Logistic regression to identify the influencing factors. Results:The study surveyed 385 elderly individuals from rural areas who had contracted family doctor services. The results showed that 88.3%(340/385)of respondents were satisfied with the services they received.Additionally, 99.2%(382/385)of those surveyed were aware of the contracted family doctor services, and 81.8%(315/385)had received basic medical services from their signed-up doctors. The results of a multifactor analysis that examined the factors influencing the overall satisfaction of elderly patients with their contracted family doctor services revealed several significant factors.Specifically, being female( OR=2.557, 95% CI: 1.122-5.830, P=0.026)and unmarried( OR=7.355, 95% CI: 1.850-29.237, P=0.005), supporting the contracted family doctor services system( OR=18.442, 95% CI: 1.732-195.973, P=0.016), believing that the contracted medical institutions had excellent hardware facilities( OR=9.918, 95% CI: 2.313-42.526, P=0.002)and providing high-quality health services for the elderly( OR=8.723, 95% CI: 1.556-48.908, P=0.014), as well as experiencing improved health status after signing the contract( OR=5.006, 95% CI: 1.764-14.201, P=0.002)were all significant factors influencing their satisfaction. These findings suggest that these factors are important considerations for improving the satisfaction of elderly patients with their contracted family doctor services. Conclusions:The contracted family doctor services provided in Dafeng district, Yancheng city have been well received by the rural elderly population.Factors such as gender, marital status, attitude towards the contracted family doctor services system, improvements in health status after contracting the service, quality of the hardware facilities at the contracted medical institution, and availability of health services specifically tailored for the elderly all play a role in determining the level of satisfaction among the contracted elderly population. To better serve the elderly population, it is crucial that we prioritize their needs. This can be achieved by improving the level of "suitable aging" in the contracted services and enhancing the satisfaction of family doctors who provide these services.

Colorectal cancer is a common tumor of the digestive system with a high degree of malignancy. Most patients are in the advanced stages of the disease when they develop symptoms. Although the detection rate of traditional screening methods is improving with advances in imaging and the popularity of colonoscopy, the diagnosis of early, asymptomatic colon cancer is still unsatisfactory. Therefore, it is particularly important to further study the occurrence and development mechanism of colorectal cancer and obtain new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment.? In recent years, with the deepening of epigenetics research, the role of DNA methylation in the pathogenesis of colorectal cancer has gradually attracted attention. This paper will review the research progress of DNA methylation in colorectal cancer′s diagnosis and treatment.

Objective To investigate the effect of pathologically elevated-cyclic stretch induced by hypertension on mitochondrial biogenesis of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs), and the role of PGC1α in this process. Methods The Flexcell-5000T stretch loading system in vitro was applied to VSMCs with a frequency of 1. 25 Hz and an amplitude of 5% or 15% to simulate the mechanical environment under normal physiological or hypertensive pathological conditions respectively. Western blotting and qPCR were used to detect the expression of PGC1α, citrate synthase and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) copy number in VSMCs under normal physiological or hypertensive pathological conditions. VSMCs were treated with PGC1α specific activator ZLN005 to promote PGC1α expression or specific interfering fragment siRNA to inhibit PGC1α expression in order to detect the effect on citrate synthase and mtDNA copy number. Results Compared with 5% physiological cyclic stretch, 15% pathologically elevated-cyclic stretch significantly suppressed the expression of PGC1α, citrate synthase and mtDNA copy number in VSMCs. Compared with control group, the protein expression of PGC1α was significantly decreased and increased respectively. When VSMCs transfected with PGC1α siRNA or incubated PGC1α activator ZLN005, the expression of citrate synthase and mtDNA copy number were also significantly down regulated and up-regulated in VSMCs accordingly. Under physiological cyclic stretch conditions, the protein level of PGC1α was significantly down-regulated by PGC1α siRNA, which also significantly down-regulated citrate synthase expression and mtDNA copy number. The protein expression of PGC1α was significantly up-regulated by ZLN005, which also enhanced the expression of citrate synthase and mtDNA copy number. Conclusions The pathological cyclic stretch induced by hypertension significantly down-regulated the expression of citrate synthase and mtDNA copy number via suppressing the expression of PGC1α, resulting in mitochondrial dysfunction of VSMCs. PGC1α may be a potential therapeutic target molecule to alleviate the progression of hypertension.

A strong animal survival instinct is to approach objects and situations that are of benefit and to avoid risk. In humans, a large proportion of mental disorders are accompanied by impairments in risk avoidance. One of the most important genes involved in mental disorders is disrupted-in-schizophrenia-1 (DISC1), and animal models in which this gene has some level of dysfunction show emotion-related impairments. However, it is not known whether DISC1 mouse models have an impairment in avoiding potential risks. In the present study, we used DISC1-N terminal truncation (DISC1-N
