Objective To discuss the efficacy and safty of sodium β-aescin in the treatment of swelling after lower limb fracture operation.Methods From February 2011 to February 2014 in Minda Hospital Affiliated to Hubei Minzu University,patients with swelling limb after lower limb fracture operations were selected as research subjects.The patients were divided into experimental group and control group randomly.The experimental group were received sodiumβ-aescin,the control group were received mannitol.After 4 days treatment,limb circumference,swelling score and pain score in two groups were compared. Results Compared with control group,the limb circumference,swelling score and pain score in experimental group significantly reduced after 4 days treatment(P<0.05 );the therapeutic effect in experimental group was significantly better than that in control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reaction in two groups had no significant difference.Conclusion Application of sodiumβ-aescin on lower limb fracture shows good therapeutic effect.

SUMMARY A 15-year-old boy was admitted with nephritic and nephrotic syndrome,renal dysfunction and decreased serum C3,who suffered from varicella for two months.His renal histopathology revealed endocapillary proliferative glomerulonephritis with podocytes proliferation and severe tubular injury by light microscopy.Direct immunofluorescence showed global granular deposition of IgG,IgA,IgM,C3,Clq and fibrinogen in mesangium and along glomerular capillary wall.Electron microscopic examination showed electron-dense deposits in multiple sites of glomeruli.Furthermore,specific serum IgM antibodies against varicella-zoster virus (VZV) were detected.VZV antigen and mRNA were demonstrated in glomerular and tubular epithelial cells by immunohistochemical staining and in-situ hybridization.Virus particles and virus inclusions were identified by electron microscopy and special staining ( Methylene Blue and Eosion staining or Mann staining).The patient also experienced epileptic episodes and his brain MRI and electroenephalogram indicated herpes encephalitis with secondary epilepsy.Therefore,the diagnosis of VZV-associated glomerulonephritis and encephalitis was established.This is the first case of VZV-associated glomerulonephritis with renal histooathological evidence using in situ hybridization technique.

Objective To investigate the indoor air formaldehyde pollution in the human anatomy laboratory and to study the control measures and their effects on prevention and control of formaldehyde pollution. Methods The levels of formaldehyde in the air of the human anatomy laboratory with exhaust ventilatary conditional system and without such a system were determined respectively according to the method recommended in the Sanitary Standard of Public Place. Results Without the exhaust ventilatory conditional system, the level of formaldehyde of indoor air reached to 8.349 mg/m3, while the level of formaldehyde was decreased significantly to 0.501 mg/m3 with the system. Conclusion Without the exhaust ventilatory conditional system, the formaldehyde pollution in the air of the human anatomy laboratory was very serious, which might have adverse effects on teachers' and students' health, while with the system, the formaldehyde pollution could be controlled effectively.

[Objective]To investigate the effect of cryopreservation on the antigenicity of vascularized bone allotransplantation,and to observe the patency of the pedicle and the osteosis of bone allografts,in order to find out the dose of immunosuppressive agent.[Method]Forty-eight New Zealand rabbits were involved in the study.Of them 16 rabbits served as donors,and 32 hosts.Allotransplantation of cryopreserved radius diaphysis with the vascular pedicles were implanted to 8 rabbits and immunosuppressive agent(CsA 10 mg/kg/d) was administrated 4 weeks after transplantation(group A),similar cryopreserved grafts with the vascular pedicles were implanted to 8 rabbits and immunosuppressive agent(CsA 5mg/kg/d) was administrated 4 weeks after transplantation(group B),similar cryopreserved grafts with the vascular pedicles were implanted to 8 rabbits and immunosuppressive agent(CsA 2 mg/kg/d) was administrated 4 weeks after transplantation(group C),allotransplantation of cryopreserved radius diaphysis with a vascular pedicle was performed in 8 rabbits(group D),and 16 donors were group E.Immunological analysis was performed at 1 weeks.Radiography was taken for each graft at 2,4,8,12 weeks.And 12 weeks after operation,the patency of the pedicle was observed through ink infusing and histological studies were performed.[Result]There was no difference of IFN-? between group A and group B.However,the levels of IFN-? in groups A and B were lower than that in group C.[Conclusion]Cryopreservation could reduce the antigenicity of vascularized allotransplant graft.After transplantation,the reject response is decreased,patency and osteosis of bone allografts are better,and the dose of immunosuppressive agent are decreased.

Objective To explore the effect of botulinum toxin type A(BTXA)in the treatment of early hypertrophic scars(HTS).Methods BTXA was injected into and around the eady HTS,and then the modal and histological changes of the scars as well as the clinical reaction were observed in the patient.BTXA was also injected into muscle around the incision and effect on the cicatrization observed.Results Injection of BTXA could obviously alleviate ache and pruritus of eady HTS and could impel the atrophy and inteneration of eady HTS.Changes were found in paraffin-embedded tissue section by the hemetoxylin and eosin(HE)staining.Injection of BTXA into muscle around the cut could can reduce occurrence of HTS.Conclusion BTXA can help prevent the early HTS to a certain extent.The mechanism underlying this effect may be related to the reducing the tension around scars and proliferative activity,interfering with the signal transduction of small nerves,affecting the proliferation and apoptosis of fibroblasts and subsequently decreasing the collagen synthesis.

OBJECTIVE:To introduce the research and application of sentinel hospital pharmacovigilance system,and provide technical reference for hospital pharmacovigilance working in China. METHODS:A sentinel hospital pharmacovigilance system based on hospital information system was established,the architecture and functionality were introduced and its effects were ana-lyzed. RESULTS:The sentinel hospital pharmacovigilance system formed by hospital business information management platform and data center. Its main functions included drug data arrangement,the auxiliary reporting of ADR,active monitoring,pharmaco-vigilance information inquiry,monitoring and warning and statistical analysis,which successfully achieved the rapid reporting and active monitoring of hospital ADR. The system had applied in 20 sentinel hospitals,and the ADR reporting quantity was obviously increased after applying the system. Compared with 2015,ADR reporting in a sample sentinel hospital was increased 120.6％ since it used the system in early 2016. Besides,the system had improved the ADR reporting process,operation and input standard for the ADR reporter,shortened the reporting time and improved the efficiency of the reporting staff. CONCLUSIONS:The establish-ment and application of sentinel hospital pharmacovigilance system has greatly improved the hospital ADR monitoring management level,and it is of great significance to further strengthen the pharmaovigilance in China.

It can realize drug analy-sis and monitoring in the hospital,analysis and online monitoring of drugs prescribed by the doctor,finding,warning and evaluat-ing abnormal phenomenon of drug use in the medical institutions,so that it is better for the supervisors to monitor the usage of drugs. CONCLUSIONS:The system with easy operation,flexible monitoring,rich chart shows,comprehensive monitor index has a positive effect on rational medication level.
