Objective To evaluate the effects of Xuebijing injection on inflammatory response in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS) by the changes of the level of PCT in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and plasma so as well as serum tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) 、interleukin-6(IL-6) and interleukin-8( IL-8). Methods Sixty patients treated at the intensive care unit(ICU) were recruited in this study;these subjects satisfied the diagnostic criteria for ARDS. They were randomly classified into two groups: study group ( 30 patients) in which patients were given Xuebijing injection 100ml and 5% Glucose injection 150 ml daily,and control group(30 patients) patients were given 5% Glucose injection 250ml daily. The changes of the level of PCT in BALF and plasma so as well as serum TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8 were monitored before intervention and seven days later. Results The level of PCT in BALF and plasma before intervention were statistically higher than normal( t= 2.882、2.657 all P ＜0.01 )while decreased significantly seven days later ( all P ＜ 0.01 ) in study group but fewer change in control group ( all P ＞0.05 ). Levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8 were statistically higher than normal before intervention( all P ＜ 0.05 ) while decreased significantly seven days later( all P ＜0.01 )in study group but fewer change in control group( all P ＞0.05 ). The mortality of patients was 26.7% ( study group) and 33.3% ( control group) ( all P ＜ 0.05 ) respectively.Conclusion Xuebijing injection could lower the level of PCT in BALP and plasma of patients with ARDS,played the role of antiinflammatory and improving the oxygenation, and could to reduce the mortality of patients.

Objective: To establish medical equipment rental center, not only can reduce the duplication of medical equipment purchase, and can reduce equipment maintenance cost, and improve utilization and good rates of medical equipment. Methods: Emergency rescue equipment rental center is established, which is managed by the Equipment Division with responsible for managing shared management mode, and in which the equipment is leased by Clinical departments. Results: The establishment of emergency rescue equipment rental centers, on the one hand, optimized the allocation of resources hospitals, and saved investment and maintenance expenses for the hospital; on the other hand improved the utilization of medical equipment, and protected the integrity of the rate of the device, and provided the most reliable service for clinical departments. Conclusion:By establishing emergency rescue medical equipment rental centers and improving of management mode of medical devices, sharing of resources has been achieved, and the utilization of the equipment has been improved, and equipment performance has been guaranteed.

Implantation of biological materials are required for rhinoplasty,nasal septum support,filling nasal tip,correction of nasal deformities from trauma,nasal hump deformity correction,and correction of cleft lip nasal secondary deformity. Biological materials for rhinoplasty include silicone rubber,expanded polytetrafluoroethylene,high-density polyethylene,polymethyl methacrylate,hydroxyapatite,and composite materials. However,those materials are limited due to easy onset of complication or high price; therefore,they need to be further modified. In recent years,tissue-engineered bone is expected to provide a more safe and effective implant material for rhinoplasty.

Objective To evaluate preventive and therapeutic effects of low dose of unfractioned heparin on severe sepsis. Methods 52 Patients with severe sepsis hospitalized in Intensive Care Units were randomly divided into control group and heparin group. On the basis of conventional therapy, patients with sepsis were given low dose of unfractioned heparin or isovolume physiologic saline by continuous intravenous drip infusion over 5 days. Acute Physiologic and Chronic Healthy Evaluation (APACHE-Ⅱ) score, blood platelet count(BPC), prothrombin time(PT), activated partial thromboplastin time(aPTT), thrombin time(TT), plasma fibrinogen(FDP) and D-dimer levels were assessed on admission, 3rd, 5th day after intervention. Incidence of disseminated intravascular coagulation(DIC) and 28-day mortality between heparin group and control group were compared. Results There were no significant difference in APACHE-Ⅱ, BPC, PT, aPTT, TT, and FDP levels, incidence of DIC, and 28-day mortality between heparin group and control group. Objective To study the clinical characteristics of acute leukemia(AL) patients with cross‐lineage antigen expression . Methods Patients were diagnosed and classified by morphology ,cytochemistry and immunology assay ,and prognostic acting factor were also analyzed .Results According to FAB standards ,acute myeloid leukemia(AML)‐M2 ,acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL)‐L2 and no‐classified type were common in 320 patients with cross‐lineage antigen expression .The immunophenotype with B and my‐eloid mixed expression was the most common(176 cases) ,followed by cross expression of antigen T and myeloid(131 cases) ,and the co‐expression of B ,T and myeloid antigen was found in only 10 cases .In lymphoid antigenpositive AML(Ly+ AML) ,CD19 anti‐gen was the most common among B lineage ,CD7 was the most common in T lineage .In myeloid antigen positive ALL(My+ ALL) , CD33 was the most common myeloid antigen .Forty‐five cases were with mixed expression of myeloid antigen and CD56 expression . Correlation existed between CD7 and CD34(P< 0 .05) ,CD19 and CD34(P< 0 .05) .There were 9 patients with CD34 ,CD7 and CD19 co‐expression ,7 patients with CD34 ,CD7 and CD56 co‐express .In Ly+ AML patients ,23 cases were with recurrent chromo‐some abnormality ,including 11 cases with t(8 ;21)(q22 ;q22) ,RUNX1‐RUNX1T1 ,3 cases with t(15;17)(q22 ;q11‐12) ,PML/RAR ,6 cases with bone marrow eosinophilia inv(16)(p13 ;q22) ,CBF beta /MYH11 ,and 3 cases with t(9;11)(p22;q23) , MLLT3‐MLL .In My+ ALL ,15 patients were with recurrent chromosome abnormality ,including 9 cases of B‐ALL with t(9;22) (q34 ;q11 .2) ,BCR‐ABL1 ,3 cases of B‐ALL with t(v ;11q23) ,MLL rearrangement ,and 3 cases of T‐ALL with 14q11 .2 .Among the presence of reproducible chromosomal abnormalities in AL ,the antigen expression of mistranslation was still with a certain fea‐ture:Ly+ AML patients often mistranslated CD19 ,CD56 ,CD2 ,and My+ ALL patients often mistranslated CD13 and CD33 .Com‐pared with the lymphoid antigennegative AML(Ly - ALL) group ,CD7+ AML group ,CD19+ AML group and CD56+ AML group had significant difference in survival curves(with P value of 0 .01 ,0 .02 and 0 .02) .There was no significant difference in survival curves between myeloid antigen negative ALL(My -ALL) group and CD13/33+ ALL group(P<0 .05) .CD7 was also positive com‐monly(53 cases) and related with CD34(P<0 .05) .So it significantly influenced the prognosis .If patients were with co‐expression of CD34 ,CD7 and CD19 ,the prognosis could be worse .Conclusion AL with cross‐lineage antigen expression might be a special type and confirmed by immunotype .Furthermore ,expression types of differentiation antigen could be critical for prognosis and sur‐vival .

Objective To explore the detection rate of colorectal cancer by endoscopic,and study the value of digital rectal examination,fecal occult blood test,tumor markers examination,painless colonoscopy in colorectal cancer screening.Methods The data of 2 167 colonoscopy patients were retrospectively analyzed from January 2010 to December 2013.All the patients accomplished the digital rectal examination,fecal occult blood test,tumor markers examination before colonoscopy,the results were compared with pathology and surgical results.Results There was no statistical difference in the ratio of male and female in the year 2010-2013 (x2 =3.640 5,P ＞ 0.05).The detection rates of rectal adenoma in the year 2010-2013 were 4.762％ (25/525),8.180％ (40/489),8.276％ (48/580) and 8.028％ (46/573),there were no statistical differences (x2 =6.785 7,P ＞ 0.05).The detection rates of colorectal cancer in the year 2010-2013 were 12.571％ (66/525),11.656％ (57/489),13.448％ (78/580) and 10.820％ (62/573),there were statistical differences (x2 =2.065 7,P ＞ 0.05).The colorectal cancer accounts for the percentage of positive results of colonoscopy in the year 2010-2013 were 72.527％ (66/91),58.763％ (57/97),61.905％(78/126) and 57.407 ％ (62/108),there were statistical differences (x2 =5.679 8,P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions The detection rates of colorectal cancer are stable in the year 2010-2013.Combined with digital rectal examination,fecal occult blood test and tumor markers examination is the value of screening colonoscopy population,enhancing the pertinence,thus improving the colorectal cancer early diagnosis and early treatment levels.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of serum iron(Fe),total iron binding capacity(TIBC),serum ferritin(SF), folic acid(FA)and vitamin 12(ViB12 )in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic renal failure(CRF).Methods Fasting blood sam-ples were collected from 72 patients with CRF and 83 normal controls.Then the serum SF,ViB12 and FA contents were measured by the ARCHITECT i2000SR fully automatic chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer;serum Fe and TIBC were detected by the VITORS FS 5.1 dry biochemical analyzer;RBC,HGB,HCT and MCV were analyzed by the Mindray BC-6800 complete automated blood counter.The detection results were performed the statistical analysis by the SPSS16.0 software.Results The levels of TIBC,RBC,HGB and HCT in the CRF patients were significantly lower than those in the control group(P <0.05);while the SF and ViB12 levels were significantly higher than those in the control group;serum Fe and MCV had no statistical difference compared with the control group(P >0.05);the FA level in the female patients was lower than that in the control group,but which in the male patients had no statistical differences compared with the control group(P >0.05).Conclusion The indexes of anemia associat-ed metabolin in the CRF patients can provide certain reference value for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic renal fail and has cer-tain guidance significance for correcting anemia caused by renal insufficiency.

Objective Previous researches demonstrated that pyrroledithiocarbomate (PDTC), an inhibitor of nuclear factor, results in specific inhibition on nuclear factor-κB and therefore suppress cataract formation. The aim of this study was to explore the effect of nuclear factor-κB inhibitor on cataract formation after alkali burn in rats. Methods Ocular surface alkali burn models were established in the right eyes of 40 SPF Wistar rats by putting the 7 mm filter paper with 1 mol/L NaOH in the central cornea for 60 seconds. PDTC (2 mg/mL, 0. 1 mL) was subconjunctivaly injected everyday in 20 model eyes and the equivalent amount of normal saline solution was used in the same way in other 20 model eyes. The rats were killed in the first, third, fifth and seventh day after alkali burn and lenses were obtained for the histopathological examination, and immunochemistry and polymerase chain reaction were used to detect the expression of nuclear factor-κB in lens epithelial cells. The experiment and use of animal followed the Standard of Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. Results After alkali burn, lens epithelial cells namely fell off in control group but those of experimental group were complete in the first day. In the third day, the lens cortex was obviously condensed in both two groups. In the fifth and seventh day, the lens epithelial cells fell off and lens cortex was obviously briquetted. Lots of vacuole and fragments could be seen in both groups. The gray scale value of nuclear factor-κB in lens epithelial cells were significantly higher in 1 day and 3 days after alkali burn in PDTC group compared with control group(t =2. 836, P =0. 036; t =4. 932, P =0.004) . The nuclear factor-κB /p-actin values were considerably lowed in 1 day and 3 days after alkali burn in PDTC group compared with control group (t = 31. 563, P = 0. 000; t = 17. 837, P = 0. 000). No statistically significant difference were found in gray scale values of nuclear factor-κB and nuclear factor-κB/p-actin values in 5 days and 7 days after alkali burn between PDTC group and control group (P＞0. 05). Conclusion Early usage of inhibitor of nuclear factor plays a suppressive role in cataract formation after ocular surface alkali burn of rat model.
