Accurate measurements of voltage and current from electrosurgery are the basis of development of electrosurgery with feedback function. We, therefore, developed a parameter measurement system based on PC, with high voltage and current from electrosurgery being sensed with transformers, amplified, filtered, transformed into single-ended signals, and then into RMS signals. The root mean square (RMS) signals were transformed into digital signals through DAQ card and the data was processed in PC with Labview. The process included sampling, displaying and storage. The experiment results indicated that the measurement system could measure the output parameters from electrosurgery steadily and correctly so that the development of the system has been successful. It can be the basis of development of embedded parameters measurement system and can provide accurate feedback information for intellectual electrosurgery.

To elucidate the molecular characteristics of the hemagglutinin (HA) genes of H5N1 subtype of avian influenza viruses in the boundary region of Yunnan province. Of 420 samples were collected from the foreign poultry in boundary region of Yunnan province during 2003 to 2008 and these samples were subjected to screening by H5/N1 subtype-specific and multiplex RT-PCR. testing. The HA genes of H5N1 viruses from positive samples were amplified by RT-PCR and cloned into vector pMD18 T for subsequent sequencing. The alignment with sequences of the known reference strains and phylogenetic analysis were then performed. The genes from 21 representative positive samples with 4 different sequences at the cleavage site were obtained and all of them possessed the molecular characteristic of highly pathogenic avian influenza virus. The mutation of key amino acids had been found among receptor-binding sites, potential glycosylation sites and neutralizing epitopes.-Phylogenetic analysis showed those positive samples could be divided into 5 distinct clades, including clade 1, 2.4. 2.3.2, 2.3.4 and 7. It is evident that H5N1 viruses from the foreign boundary region of Yunnan province in 2003 to 2008 show genetic divergence and clade 2,3,4 is the dominant clade in this region.

Objective To improve the recognition and management of primary breast lymphoma(PBL) by discussing the clinical pathological characteristics and the prognosis of PBL. Methods The clinical and treatment records of PBL pa-tients admitted in Boai hospital of zhongshan from January 2001 to December 2012 were analyzed. Results All cases were B-cell origin(25/25),61.5%(16/25)were diffuse large B-cell lymphoma origin,The 5-year overall survival was 44%. There were no significant difference in the 5-year overall survival rates, 5-year local control rates and 5-year distant control rates in patient treatment with any surgery compared with no-Surgery(P>0.05).There were no significant difference in the 5-year overall survival rates and 5-year distant control rates in patient treatment with any RT com-pared with no-RT(P>0.05),but the 5-year local control rates was significantly different(P<0.05);There were no sig-nificant difference in the 5-year overall survival rates and 5-year local control rates in patient treatment with any chemotherapy compared with no-chemotherapy (P>0.05). but the 5-year distant control rates was significant different(P<0.05). Conclusion The prognosis of PBL is related with the clinical stage and pathological type. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy respectively promote the local control and distant control. The optimal treatment is surgery combined with chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy.

Objective:To investigate the effect and mechanism of circular RNA (cirRNA) on the radiosensitivity of rectal cancer. Methods:The differential circRNAs in radiosensitive and radioresistant rectal cancer tissues (biopsy tissue before radiotherapy and chemotherapy) were detected by gene sequencing, and the effect of circRNAs on the radiosensitivity of colorectal cancer cells was further confirmed in vitro. Results:Through gene sequencing of rectal cancer tissue samples, 64 circRNAs were found to be highly expressed in radiosensitive rectal cancer tissues, and 36 circRNAs were lowly expressed in radiosensitive tissues. Ten differential circRNAs were selected and verified by qRT-PCR, and it was found that circATL2 was highly expressed in radiosensitive rectal cancer tissues. In vitro cell experiment indicated that up-regulation of circATL2 expression could significantly improve the radiosensitivity of rectal cancer. Subsequently, 8 miRNAs lowly expressed in radiosensitive rectal cancer tissues were analyzed. The direct binding relationship between miR-205 and circATL2 was confirmed by dual luciferase reporter assay. The rescue experiment confirmed that circATL2 in rectal cancer regulated the radiosensitivity of rectal cancer through miR-205. Conclusion:circATL2 regulates the radiosensitivity of rectal cancer by binding to miR-205.
