Objective:To detect the existence of IFNGR in the stellate ganglion in female goats .Methods:The stellate ganglia were taken from female goats .The expression of IFNGR was detected by PCR method and immunohistochemical SP staining .Results:The results showed that:IFNGR immunoreactive substances were distributed in neurons , supporting cells and passing fiber , and mainly in the cytomembrane and nuclei of neurons .The relative expression of IFNGR was very significantly higher than that of non-neuronal cells (P<0.01).The sequence of IFNGR1 gene amplified by PCR method contained 376 bp, and IFNGR1 gene of goats exhibited the highest homology with sheep(98%),followed by cattle(97%).Conclusion:The results suggested that the IFNGR in the Stellate Gan-glion of female goats mainly expressed and located in sympathetic postganglionic neurons which were provided with the conditions for the role of IFN-γ, which implied that the Stellate Ganglion may act as the critical point to concert the immune regulation of IFN -γand neu-roregulation of autonomic nerve on cardiovascular system .

Objective To investigate the prognosis relevant factors of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC).Methods From January 2013 to December 2013,the clinical data of 71 patients with LSCC who were initially treated in Zhejiang Cancer Hospital were retrospectively analyzed. Results Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in survival rate between the group of supraglottic type and glottic type (60.0% vs.86.3% ,χ2 =6.284,P<0.05),the group of N0 and N+(41.7% vs.86.4% ,χ2 =16.803,P<0.01), the group of early and late stage(93.6% vs.50.0% ,χ2 =19.854,P<0.01).There were no statistically significant differences in survival rate between the group of age ≤50,>50-60,>60-70 and >70(88.9% vs.88.2% vs. 79.3% vs.62.5% ,χ2 =3.909,P>0.05),the group of T1+T2 and T3+T4(83.6% vs.62.5% ,χ2 =3.623,P>0.05),the group of high, medium, low differentiated and unsigned(75.0% vs.69.7% vs.83.3% vs.91.7% ,χ2 =3.780,P>0.05),the group of surgery, radiotherapy and surgery+radiotherapy (74.3% vs.90.9% vs.71.4% , χ2 =2.437,P>0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that age( P =0.003),treatment( P =0.048) had significant effect on the prognosis of patients, but tumor location(P=0.766),T stage(P=0.677),N stage(P=0.482),clinical stage(P=0.825),the degree of pathological differentiation(P=0.206) had no significant effect on the prognosis of patients. Conclusion More aggressive treatment should be supplied for patients with N+,advanced clinical stage and age whom the prognosis are usually poor. In addition, the proportion of tracheal tube extraction should be appreciated.

BACKGROUND:At present, open reduction and internal fixation and minimally invasive needle aspiration are commonly used in patients with Sanders types Ⅱ and Ⅲ calcaneal fractures. However, there is little comparison between the clinical efficacy of the two methods and high-level clinical evidence is still available. OBJECTIVE:To compare the curative effect of Sanders types Ⅱ and Ⅲ calcaneal fractures treated by three-dimensional digital model-assisted minimally invasive needle penetration and tarsal sinus incision and manual reduction and internal fixation with steel plate. METHODS:From January 2021 to October 2022,80 patients with Sanders types Ⅱ and Ⅲ calcaneal fractures who were treated in the Department of Orthopedics,Cangzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in Hebei Province were randomly divided into control group(40 cases)and observation group(40 cases). The control group was treated with manual reduction and internal fixation with steel plate through the traditional tarsal sinus incision, while the observation group was treated with a three-dimensional digital model assisted with minimally invasive needle penetration fixation. The operation time, blood loss, hospitalization time and fracture healing time of the two groups were recorded. The changes in Maryland score,AO-FAS score, pain visual analog scale score, quality of life score(SF-36 score),and imaging parameters(B?hler angle,Gissane angle, calcaneal length, width and height)were observed before and 12 months after operation in the two groups. The complications during the follow-up were recorded. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)Operation time, blood loss, hospitalization time and fracture healing time in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(all P<0.05).(2)The Maryland score,AO-FAS score,SF-36 score,B?hler angle,Gissane angle, calcaneal length and height of the two groups after treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment(all P<0.05).Visual analog scale score and calcaneal width were significantly lower than those before treatment(all P<0.05).(3)After 12 months of follow-up,the incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(all P<0.05).(4)In conclusion, the treatment of Sanders types Ⅱ and Ⅲ calcaneal fractures with three-dimensional digital model-assisted minimally invasive needle penetration fixation can significantly improve the operation time, bleeding volume and other perioperative indicators, and can reduce the occurrence of multiple complications. The recovery of ankle function, relief of pain symptoms, and improvement of quality of life are equivalent to traditional therapy.

Objective:
To investigate the safety and efficacy of radiofrequency ablation (RFA) with percutaneous iohexol-ethanol injection (PIEI), compared with RFA plus transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) for patients with primary liver cancer(PLC)in high-risk locations.
Methods:
From January 2012 to December 2014, 54 patients with PLC in high-risk locations were enrolled. They were divided into Group A (RFA combined with PIEI) and Group B (RFA plus TACE). The efficacy and adverse events were assessed.
Results:
54 patients had 74 lesions in high-risk locations. There were 26 cases with 40 lesions in Group A, and 28 cases with 34 lesions in Group B. The complete ablation rate of Group A was significantly higher than that of Group B (92.5% vs 70.6%,

Chinese Medical Journal 2023;136(9):1047-1056
BACKGROUND:
Screening using low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) is a more effective approach and has the potential to detect lung cancer more accurately. We aimed to conduct a meta-analysis to estimate the accuracy of population-based screening studies primarily assessing baseline LDCT screening for lung cancer.
METHODS:
MEDLINE, Excerpta Medica Database, and Web of Science were searched for articles published up to April 10, 2022. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the data of true positives, false-positives, false negatives, and true negatives in the screening test were extracted. Quality Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy Studies-2 was used to evaluate the quality of the literature. A bivariate random effects model was used to estimate pooled sensitivity and specificity. The area under the curve (AUC) was calculated by using hierarchical summary receiver-operating characteristics analysis. Heterogeneity between studies was measured using the Higgins I2 statistic, and publication bias was evaluated using a Deeks' funnel plot and linear regression test.
RESULTS:
A total of 49 studies with 157,762 individuals were identified for the final qualitative synthesis; most of them were from Europe and America (38 studies), ten were from Asia, and one was from Oceania. The recruitment period was 1992 to 2018, and most of the subjects were 40 to 75 years old. The analysis showed that the AUC of lung cancer screening by LDCT was 0.98 (95% CI: 0.96-0.99), and the overall sensitivity and specificity were 0.97 (95% CI: 0.94-0.98) and 0.87 (95% CI: 0.82-0.91), respectively. The funnel plot and test results showed that there was no significant publication bias among the included studies.
CONCLUSIONS
Baseline LDCT has high sensitivity and specificity as a screening technique for lung cancer. However, long-term follow-up of the whole study population (including those with a negative baseline screening result) should be performed to enhance the accuracy of LDCT screening.
