Objective To compare the differences of liver function indexes in patients with acute left heart failure and congestive heart failure , and to provide the basis for the diagnosis of heart failure .Methods 142 cases of heart failure from March 2014 to December 2015 in our hospital were selected and divided into 68 cases of acute left heart failure group and 74 cases of congestive heart failure group.The differences in liver function tests were compared between the two groups by comparing the differences in the indexes of heart failure, liver blood biochemistry, general biochemical indexes and late follow-up data.Results Compared with the indexes of heart failure, there were no significant differences in ejection fraction, NT-proBNP, history of heart failure>one years, and the number of patients with right heart failure, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Comparison of liver blood biochemistry: patients with acute left heart failure were alanine aminotransferase, aspartate amino transferase, albumin increased, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), and glutamyl aminotransferase, total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, indirect bilirubin decreased, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups of patients with alkaline phosphatase and total protein.Compared with the general biochemical indexes, increased triglyceride levels in patients with congestive heart failure group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), there was no significant difference in other indexes.Conclusion AHF patients with ALT, AST increased, CHF with GGT, TBIL, DBIL, IBIL increased, ALB decreased mainly.

Objective To investigate the antibiotic resistance of extended-spectrum β-lactamases (ESBLs)-producing bacteria,and the risk factors for patients with hospital-acquired lower respiratory tract infections caused by these bacteria.Methods The clinical data of 80 cases of hospital-acquired lower respiratory tract infections caused by ESBLs + bacteria in the People's Hospital of Qingtian in Zhejiang Province from July 2008 to December 2011 were collected; and 160 cases of nosocomial infection caused by ESBLs- bacteria were randomly selected as controls.Univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression were used to analyze the risk factors for ESBLs + bacteria infection.The resistance of sixteen antibiotics was detected by K-B method.Results Univariate analysis revealed that the risk factors for nosocomial lower respirator tract infection caused by ESBLs+ bacteria were hospitalization ≥ 10 d,readmission to hospital,oxygen inhalation,invasive operations,using antacid ＞ 7 d,using glucocorticoids ＞ 7 d,using immunosuppressant ＞ 7 d,using third-generation cephalosporins,using fluoroquinolone antibacterials,and the combined use of antibiotics≥3 d.Multivariate logistic regression analysis identified five independent risk faetors:oxygen inhalation (OR =8.613,95％ CI:1.870-39.659),invasive operations (OR =5.900,95％CI:1.885-18.467),using third-generation cephalosporins (OR =7.465,95％ CI:2.364-23.578),using fluoroquinolone antibacterials (OR =4.481,95％ CI:1.197-16.781) and combined use of antibiotics≥3 d (OR =5.346,95％ CI:1.717-16.643).ESBLs + Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae strains were sensitive to imipenem,meropenem,cefoperazone /sulbactam and piperacillin/tazobactam (with the resistance rates lower than 30.00％),but were highly resistant to most β-lactam,aminoglycoside,fluoroquinolone and sulfonamide antibacterials.Conclusion ESBLs + isolates were highly resistant to most antibacterials,and hospital-acquired lower respiratory tract infections with ESBLs+ bacteria are mainly related with invasive operations and the use of antibiotics.

OBJECTIVE To understand the pathogen distribution and drug resistance of pelvic inflammatory disease in women,then help the clinic to use drug rationally. METHODS Totally 342 bacteria were isolated from the cervical or pelvic secretion and given in vitro drug sensitivity test with Kirby-Bauer method. ESBLs detected by ESBLs affirm test and AmpC detected by cefoxitin three dimensional test in G-bacteria. RESULTS From the 342 strains isolated from this group,there were 215 G-(62.9%),the primary pathogenic bacteria were Escherichia coli,Klebsiella pneumoniae and Serratia marcescens,at the same time,there were 127 G+ (37.1%),the most common pathogens were coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS) and Staphylococcus aureus. The detectable rate of ESBLs and AmpC together were 38.1% and 34.9% in G-,that of only ESBLs occupied 13.0%,that of only AmpC was 9.8%,that of ESBLs combined with high yield AmpC occupied 13.9%,and that of ESBLs combined with induced AmpC occupied 11.2%. Otherwise,the resistance rate to antibiotics was all higher than 48% except VAN,TEC,QDA and rifampin in G+. BACKGROUND: The proliferation of peripheral blood stem cells among peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) invitro remains unclear. There is no optimal marker for tracing PBMCs transplanted in vivo.OBJECTIVE: To observe the degree of PBMC proliferation in stem cell medium by EdU labeling and to explore thefeasibility of EdU-labeled peripheral blood stem cells.METHODS: New Zealand rabbit PBMCs were isolated and cultured for 1 to 5 days in stem cell medium supplementedwith EdU. The cells were observed and counted at 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 days in culture. The cells were harvested at eachtime point and stained with EdU fluorescent reagents. Then, confocal microscopy and flow cytometry were used to detectEdU-labeled cells.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) Freshly isolated rabbit PBMCs were rounded and showed clear outline. After 1 dayculture, most of the cells were suspended in the medium, spherical or round. There were also a few cell clusters andadherent cells scattered in a triangle or polygon shape; after 2 days culture, more cell debris were observed, and mostcells were round; when cultured for 3-5 days, increased cell debris, smaller cell mass and decreased cell densitysignificantly were observed. (2) With the prolongation of culture time, the cell count decreased gradually. (3) Whencultured for 1 day, EdU labeled cells in red were scattered. The number of cells marked with EdU red label increasedsignificantly at day 2 and remained unchanged after 3 days of culture. At 5 days of culture, the number of red cellsmarkedly decreased; the highest positive rate of EdU-labeled cells was (2.38±0.10)% at 2 days after culture. To conclude,these results showed that the proportion of proliferating cells in rabbit PBMCs was very low. EdU is capable of labelingproliferative cells among PBMCs.

Objective To analyze the characteristics on injuries,using data from the Jiangsu sentinel hospitals,from 2006 to 2013,to develop a injury prevention strategy.Methods Data was collected from the ‘National Injury Monitoring Report Card' of six sentinel hospitals from two surveillance points from 2006 to 2013.Results Information from 448 778 cases was analyzed.The numbers of male cases outnumbered the females,with sex ratio as 1.72:1.The top five causes of injuries were as follows:falls (27.21％),traffic-related (26.23％),blunt (17.50％),knife/sharp instrument (13.87％) and animal injury (6.59％).Injuries mainly occurred in June,July and August,at 8 to 10 O'clock in the morning.The major places where injuries occurred were road/street (31.58％),home (23.47％),industries and construction sites (21.38％).Recreation activities (36.12％),driving vehicle (25.26％),and at work (24.78％) were the major activities when injuries took place.Most injury cases were unintentional(92.65％) and deliberately(violence/attack) (6.36％).Conclusion All the injuries showed an yearly increase,from 2006 to 2013,with main causes as falls and traffic-related ones.Injuries among teenagers and the elderly should be paid special attention to,with targeted interventions taken.

Objective: To investigate the prevalence, awareness, treatment and control of hypertension in adult residents in Jiangsu province and provide evidence for the prevention and control of hypertension. Methods: A population-based cardiovascular disease screening project was conducted during 2015-2018 in Jiangsu, a total of 95 348 community-dwelling adults aged 35-75 years from 6 project areas were included in the study. The prevalence rate of hypertension and rates of awareness, treatment and control of hypertension in the adults with different characteristics were analyzed. Multilevel model was applied to identify the influencing factors. Results: Among 95 348 adults surveyed, 54 407 were hypertensive, the standardized prevalence rate was 48.1%. The prevalence rate was significantly higher in males than in females (62.1% vs. 54.0%, P<0.05). Among the hypertension patients, the rates of awareness, treatment and control of hypertension were 56.6%, 45.3% and 12.0% (standardized rates: 52.2%, 41.0% and 11.2%), respectively, and all the rates were positively associated with age (all P<0.05). Multilevel model analysis showed that those who were males, at older age, lived in rural area, suffered from diabetes, had frequent alcohol drinking and those who were overweight/obese had higher risk for hypertension (all P<0.05). Among people with hypertension, those who had younger age, lower education level, lower household income level and those who had frequent alcohol drinking had lower awareness, treatment and control rates of hypertension (all P<0.05). Conclusions The prevalence rate of hypertension was high, but related awareness, treatment and control rates were low in adult residents in Jiangsu province. Comprehensive measures should be taken to improve awareness, treatment and control of hypertension in whole population, especially in young adults, and those with low education or income levels.

Objective To understand the epidemiological characteristics of head injuries through data gathered from the Jiangsu Injury Surveillance System.Methods Data on head injury that occurred during 2006-2014 were collected from the Jiangsu injury surveillance system and analyzed by SPSS 19.0 software.Results From 2006 to 2014,data on 133 172 cases of head injuries were collected which accounting for 26.2％ (133 172/509 175) of all the injury cases.Among them,males were 2.18 times higher than the females.The top five leading causes of head injuries were falls 24.6％ (32 796/133 172),blunt force injuries 24.4％ (32 446/133 172),motor car accident injuries 20.3％ (26 993/133 172),knife or sharp force injuries 10.7％ (14 183/133 172) and non-motor car accident injuries 6.7％ (8 919/133 172).Main locations that head injuries occured would involve roads/ streets 32.5％ (43 262/133 172),working places 22.2％ (29 526/133 172),at home 20.5％ (27 925/ 133 172) and public residences 10.8％ (14 367/133 172).Recreation activates 37.9％ (50 479/133 172),driving 26.1％(34 749/133 172),paid jobs 24.8％ (33 034/133 172) were the three major activities related to head injuries.Severity of injuries would depend on the situations on site.As for minor injuries,bruise accounted for 63.5％ (67 929/106 912).Brain trauma 21.5％ (5 119/23 803) and fracture 14.9％ (3 554/23 803) appeared an increasing trend.Severe injuries would include brain trauma 74.6％ (1 833/2 457).78.8％ (104 940/133 172) of the patients with head injuries would go home after receiving treatment the hospital,with fetality only as 0.1％ (134/133 172).Conclusion Data from the Jiangsu surveillance program showed that Head injury appeared the highest proportion among all the body injuries that called for special attention.
