One of the most common reasons why the elderly fall is gait stability disorders. Gait rhythm perturbations are presented in those diseases with stability disorders such as Parkinson's disease and stroke. Rhythmic cues with visual, auditory or somatosensory stimulation can promote walking stability caused by magnet effect, compensatory, relax and attention saving.

OBJECTIVE:To select the optimum watering extraction process of yangyinqingwei oral liquid. METHODS: Influence of extraction time upon the extraction of volatile oil was observed; The orthogonal design was adopted to observe the extraction process of weight of the extracts and the content of paeoniflorin. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:The optimum watering extraction process of yangyinqingwei oral liquid was that medicinal materials were dipped for 30 minutes before decoction,then the extraction of volatile oil in saposhnikovia divaricata and pogostemon cablinlasted for 2 hours, next the residue of drugs and the other drugs were decocted together, and finally water of 8 times as much as the drugs were added and the mixture was extracted 3 times, with 1.5 hours for each time.

Phthalate esters (PAEs)are by far the most widely used plasticisers and are categorized as high and low,depending on their molecular weight.Because of their extensive use,humans are most likely exposed to PAEs in the workplace and home environment through direct as well as indirect sources.Injection,inhalation,intravenous injection and skin absorption are potential pathways of expo-sure.With respect to health effects,phthalates are often classified as endocrine disruptors because of their ability to interfere with the endocrine syste m in the body.Furthermore,PAEs possess reproductive toxicity because of their influence on development of the reproductive system in infancy and development and differentiation of germ cells in adults.PAEs promote pathogenesis and development of liver cancer by activating peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR)and DNA methylation.In addition, PAEs,which inhibit the i mmune functions of macrophages and pro mote hypersensitive response,pos-sess immunotoxicity.PAEs are also carcinogens that promote pathogenesis and development of cancers including breast,ovarian and so me other cancers.

Objective To explore the relationship between primary hypothyroidism and hyperuricemia and to speculate their possible mechanism .Methods The levels of FT3 ,FT4 ,TSH, Anti-TG ,Anti-TPO, TRAb, UA, TC, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C,Hcy, Cys,β2 MG and 24hUA were measured in 36 patients with hypothyroidism , compared with 20 healthy sub-jects.According to the absence or presenceof Anti-TG, Anti-TPO and TRAb, the patients were divided into two sub-groups:the Hashimo to(HT) hypothyroidism group (27 cases) and the non-HT hypothyroidism group (9 cases)before they were compared with each other .Results Compared with healthy subjects , patients with hypothyroidism had higher TSH , TC,TG, LDL-C, UA, Hcy,Cys,andβ2MG,and lower FT3,FT4,HDL-C,and 24hUA.The difference was significant (P<0.05);the thyroid function, autoimmune antibodies, TC, LDL-C, UA and 24hUA were also significantly differen between the two sub-groups.Conclusion Patients with hypothyroidism are more prone to hyperuricemia , which may be related to decreased thyroid hormone , lipid metabolism disorder and hyperhomocysteine .The level of UA is higher in HT hypothyroidism than in non-HT hypothyroidism , indicating that autoimmune factors may be involved in the occurrence of hyperuricemia .

OBJECTIVEThrough a simulation of interstitial fluid pressure (IFP), we developed an in vitro model to explore the change law of biological characteristics of adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) under different IFP.

METHODSA pressure cooker was refitted into a controllable pressure device. Cultured ACC-2 cells were subdivided into different groups, namely, negative control (untreated ACC-2) and experimental group (stressed for 3, 6, 12, 24 h under pressure of 7.551, 7.649, 7.747 kPa). CCK-8 and immunofluorescence of Ki67 were used to reflect proliferation ability. Transwell chamber assay was performed to observe the invasion ability of cells.

RESULTSThe proliferation ability was positively correlated with treatment time, and the peak value was obtained after the cells were subjected to 7.649 kPa of stress for 24 h. The invasion ability of ACC-2 cells was upregulated under stress.

CONCLUSIONWe successfully developed an in vitro model of IFP and found that high IFP can stimulate cell proliferation ability and upregulate invasion ability.

Objective To discuss the necessity and feasibility of nucleic acid test(NAT)in clinical blood transfusion by the im-plementation of the nucleic acid testing after the ELISA screening of Zhengzhou blood donors.Methods HBV DNA,HCV RNA, HIV RNA were detected by Roche Cobas S201 system and Shanghai kehua screening system,the samples were mixed by 6×166.7μL and 8×180 μL(as one pool)separately.If the mix pool was negative,the result can be issued directly;if the pool was positive, than secondary single sample dectection must be taken and the secondary report was the final result.Results A total of 115 227 blood samples were screened by Roche Cobas S201 system and 130 mix pools were positive,among which 80 pools were reactive by secondary split testing,and the reactive samples were 86,the split ratio was 61.5%,The positive ratio of specimens was 0.75‰.90 359 samples were screened by kehua system,and the mixed pools were 93,among which 31 pools were reactive by secondary split testing,and the reactive samples were 31,the split ratio was 33.4%,The positive ratio of specimens was 0.34‰.So the total num-ber screened by the two systems was 205 586,among which 117 cases were reactive,the total positive ratio of specimens was 0.57‰.And one case was HIV window phase infection.Conclusion NAT could effectively decrease the risk of blood transfusion caused by omission of ELISA and ensure the safety of blood transfusion.

OBJECTIVE:To study the protective effect of Weidean tablets on rats with stress-induced gastric ulceration. METH-ODS:Water immersion restraint stress method and empty stomach were employed to establish rat models with gastric ulceration. 60 SD rats were equally randomized into normal control group(isometric sodium chloride injection),model group(isometric sodium chloride injection),ranitidine group(0.015 g/kg),and groups of high,medium and low doses(1.70,0.87 and 0.43 g/kg)of Wei-dean tablets. General situation of stomach was observed .The gastric mucosal injury index,the NO content in serum,and the activi-ties of SOD and iNOS and the contents of MDA and PGE2 in the gastric tissue were detected for rats. Pathomorphological observa-tion of rats’gastric tissues was conducted under the microscope. RESULTS:Compared with normal control group,the rats in the model group had higher gastric mucosal injury index,lower content of NO in serum,and weaker activity of SOD,stronger activity of iNOS,higher content of MDA and PGE2,in the gastric tissue. There was statistical significance (P<0.01 or P<0.05). Dark matter,severe deformation and necrosis of gastric mucosal cells in rats were noted,as well as multiple large-area superficial ulcers. Compared with the model group,the rats in groups of high,medium and low doses of Weidean tablets had lower gastric mucosal injury index,higher content of NO in serum,and stronger activity of SOD,weaker activity of iNOS,lower content of MDA and higher content of PGE2,in the gastric tissue. There was statistical significance(P<0.01 or P<0.05). General situation of stomach and the pathomorphological condition of rats’gastric tissues were improved. CONCLUSIONS:Weidean tablets has protective ef-fect to some extent on rats with stress-induced gastric ulceration,the mechanism is related to the improvement of serum levels of anti-oxidation index in rats.

ObjectiveTo investigate the association of HLA-Cw and -DRB1 alleles with psoriasis vulgaris,and to provide a clue to the study into the etiology of psoriasis.MethodsVenous blood samples were obtained from 81 patients with psoriasis vulgaris collected during 2006-2011 at the Department of Dermatology,First Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical College,as well as 100 age- and gender-matched healthy controls.Both the patients and controls are unrelated Mongolia in Inner Mongolia.PCR with sequence-specific primers(PCR-SSP) technique was used to genotype the HLA-Cw and DRB1 loci.ResultsThe patients with psoriasis vulgaris showed a significantly higher frequency of HLA-Cw*06(0.438 vs.0.175,Pc ＜ 0.01) and DRB1*07(0.241 vs.0.110,Pc ＜ 0.012),but a lower frequency of HLA-Cw*04(0.031 vs.0.150,Pc ＜ 0.01 ) and DRB1*04 (0.093 vs.0.235,Pc ＜ 0.01 ) than the healthy controls did.Increased frequencies of HLA-Cw*06 and DRB1*07 alleles were observed in patients with an onset before 40 years of age and those without a family history,together with a decreased frequency of HLA-Cw*04 and DRB1*04 alleles,compared with the healthy controls(Pc ＜ 0.05).The frequency of HLA-Cw*06 allele was significantly higher in patients with a positive family history and patients with an onset of no younger than 40 years of age than in the healthy controls (both Pc ＜ 0.05).ConclusionsHLA-Cw*06 and -DRB1*07 alleles may be susceptibility determinants to psoriasis vulgaris,while HLA-Cw*04 and -DRB1*04 alleles may be protective factors against psoriasis vulgaris,in Mongolia from Inner Mongolia.HLA-DRB1*07 allele may be a susceptibility gene for psoriasis,while HLA-Cw*04 and -DRB1*04 alleles may be protective factors against psoriasis,in patients with an onset before 40 years of age.

Objective To investigate the injury characteristics and prognostic risk factors of patients with craniocerebral injury so as to provide some suggestions for the improvement of medical prevention,intervention and treatment measures.Methods Trauma database system was applied to collect the medical records of 661 patients with traumatic brain injury admitted to the Department of Neurosurgery of 105th Hospital of Hefei in 2009.Their general conditions,injury characteristics and outcomes were analyzed and the risk factors affecting their outcomes were investigated by Logistic regression analysis.Results Of the patients with craniocerebral injury,the males accounted for 70％ (463/661).The patients at 45 years old or so had the highest incidence of craniocerebral injury.Patient number in the second half of one year was 1.65 times more than that in the first half of one year (412/249 ).Most patients were injured from traffic accidents (87.7％,580/661 ) and 512 patients (77.5％) suffered from multiple injuries.ISS,injury causes,age and injury incidence quarters showed close correlation with the final outcome.Conclusions The patients with craniocerebral injury demonstrates distinctive characteristics in aspects of gender,age,incidence time,injury causes,and multiple injuries,but the ultimate outcomes are related to the injury severity,injury causes,age and other factors.
