Objective: To analyze the validity of the lie scale in University Personality Inventory (UPI). Methods: Relationship between choice of lie scale and UPI score , mental health was analyzed by UPI questionnaire of 2958 freshers. Results: Average every student chosed 2.37 lie items. Relationship between UPI score and numbers of the choosed lie items showed negative correlation. Numbers of lie items that was chosen by First class students was fewer than that was chosen by second class students, and numbers of lie items that was chosen by second class students was fewer than that was chosen by third class students. Conclusion:UPI lie scale had lost validity to evaluate attitude of respondent, so UPI lie scale should be revised.

Objective: To obtain the diversity and abundance of fast-growing bacteria in the surface water of the northeast coast of Hainan Island in China, different cultivation methods were employed. This study also aims to provide a reference for isolating bacterial samples from seawater sources and preventing marine-derived pathogens. Methods: Based on the principles of taxonomic design, surface seawater samples were collected from six locations along the northeast coast of Hainan Island in China in March, June, October, and December 2021. Then, bacterial enrichment was performed based on traditional cultivation methods for Salmonella, Vibrio, Burkholderia pseudomallei, Actinomycetes, and general marine bacteria. After that, bacterial species identification was conducted by 16S rDNA amplicon sequencing and metagenomic sequencing. Results: A total of 1 151 fast-growing cultivable bacteria belonging to 66 genera and 213 species were identified using five different culture protocols. In different cultivation protocols, Bacillus and Klebsiella demonstrated extensive discriminatory advantages and ranked among the top genera in terms of abundance. Protocol 1 had Escherichia, Klebsiella, and Citrobacter as dominant genera. Pathogenic bacteria detected by protocol 1 included Klebsiella pneumoniae and Escherichia coli, with 37 and 29 strains respectively, while Salmonella enterica was uniquely detected with seven isolates. Proteus, Enterococcus, and Providencia were the dominant genera in protocol 2, and Proteus mirabilis was the most abundant pathogenic bacteria detected with 66 isolates. Vibrio cholerae was uniquely detected with six isolates at a higher abundance. Klebsiella, Escherichia, and Acinetobacter were the dominant genera in protocol 3, and Klebsiella pneumoniae was the most abundant pathogenic bacteria detected with 53 isolates, while Acinetobacter nosocomialis was uniquely detected with seven isolates. Vibrio and Pseudoalteromonas were the dominant genera in protocol 4, and they showed advantages in isolating and cultivating Marine-derived Vibrio. Exiguobacterium, Staphylococcus, and Bacillus were the dominant genera in protocol 5. Bacillus cereus and Lactococcus lactis were the most abundant pathogenic bacteria detected with 20 and 15 isolates, respectively, while Lactococcus lactis was uniquely detected at higher abundance. Metagenomic sequencing showed that Klebsiella pneumoniae was significantly dominant with a gene abundance of 51.11%, followed by Alcanivorax sp. at 12.57%. Conclusion: The surface water of the northeast coast of Hainan Island in China exhibits a rich diversity of bacteria, with Klebsiella pneumoniae being highly abundant in the studied area. Different cultivation methods demonstrate distinct selective advantages in culturing bacterial genera and pathogens. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize cultivation conditions for specific marine bacteria.

Chinese Journal of Urology 2018;39(12):890-894
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of five-step sequential method for hemorrhagic radiation cystitis. Methods From April 2015 to April 2018,512 cases of hemorrhagic radiation cystitis patients in 6 provincial tumor hospital were retrospectively analyzed.12 cases were male patients, and 497 cases were female.Patients'average age was (60.1 ± 8.2) years (53-71 years).Hematuria appeared in 2.9 years on average after radiotherapy(ranged 0.5 to 13 years).According to the severity of hematuria,480 patients were classified as mild and 32 patients as severe. The step 1 was drug conservative symptomatic treatment.Thrombin solution or sodium hyaluronate was used for bladder perfusion in step 2.The step 3 was transurethral electrocoagulation. The step 4 was interventional embolization. The step 5 was hyperbaric oxygen therapy.Mild patients were treated from the first step, and the severe patients were treated rom step 3,and combined with step 1.Overactive bladder symptom score (OABSS) was used to assess the improvement of patients'symptoms. Results No obvious complications occurred in step 1,2,3,5.Mild hip pain occurred at step 4.Recurrent hemorrhage rate were 6.7% (2/30) in mild patients group and 10.5% (2/19) in severe respectively in step 4.The total effective rate of step 1 in mild patients group was 65.2% (313/480),step 1 + 2 was 84.2% (404/480),step 1 + 2 + 3 was 95.6% (459/480),step 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 was 98.3% (472/480),and step 1 +2 +3 +4 +5 was 100% (480/480).The effective rate of step 3 + 1 treatment was 59.4% (19/32) in severe patients group, step 3 + 1 + 4 was 68.8% (22/32),and step 3 + 1 +4 +5 was 100% (32/32).The OABSS scores of mild and severe patients decreased after treatment (P<0.01).Condusion Five-step sequential therapy could be an effective method for the treatment of hemorrhagic radiation cystitis.

Objective To evaluate the surgical complications and root vascular lymph node dissection by high versus low ligation the inferior mesenteric artery (IMA) retaining left colonic artery (LCA) in laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer. Methods Clinical data of 357 cases of rectal cancer in our center from Jan 2015 to Dec 2016,were retrospectively analyzed, including 247 cases in high ligation group,110 cases of low ligation group. Results There was no statistically significant difference in operative time and intraoperative blood loss between the two groups [(105 ± 10)min vs.(113 ±9)min,t =0.138,P =0.092;(96 ± 21) ml vs.(99 ± 23) ml,t =0.171,P =0.118].Nor that in the incidence of anastomotic leakage between the two groups (7.3% vs.4.5%,x2 =0.949,P =0.330).The incidence of low anterior resection syndrome in the two groups was statistically significant (21% vs.12%,x2 =4.358,P =0.037).There was no significant difference in the total number of lymph nodes dissected between the two groups ([(14.5±4.3) vs.(13.6±3.5),t=1.851,P=0.065].Conclusion Low ligation of IMA with preservation of LCA in laparoscopic radical operation for rectal cancer provides better blood supply for proximal colon, while achieving same radical clearance of lymph nodes as with high ligation of IMA.
