Objective To observe the effect of the emodin thermosensitive hydrogel on collagenase in gingival crevicular fluid of patients with chronic periodontitis and to evaluate the clinical efficacy.Methods Forty patients with chronic periodontitis were selected.For each patient after scaring and root planning,the one teeth on one side in a person was assigned at the test group and treated with the emodin thermosensitive hydrogel in the pocket once a week for four weeks.The teeth on the other side were assigned as the control group,just with the primary periodontal treatment.The PLI、SBI、PD、AL、MD and content of collagenase in gingival crevicular fluid were examined at baseline,before administration and after administration four weeks.The COL-II level in GCF was detected using ELISA method.Results There were no significant differences in PLI、SBI、PD、AL、MD and content of collagenase in gingival crevicular fluid before the treatment(P ＞ 0.05).While there are some evidences that periodontal indexes dropped down and the type Ⅱ collagenase level in gingival crevicular fluid also declined after using the emodin thermosensitive hydrogel than the control group(t =3.46,4.02,4.18,3.03,2.79,4.29,all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Ultrasonic scaling using the emodin thermosensitive hydrogelas was more effective in reducing the type Ⅱ collagenase level in gingival crevicular fluid.And improving clinical parameters associated with periodontal health in patients with chronic periodontitis.

Objective To study early face processing of internet addiction patients by using ERP method. Methods Ten healthy young man 18~21 years and 10 internet addiction patients 17~22 years served as subjects in experiment. Two runs of 300 stimuli (duration: 50 ms) of 3 facial and 3 non-facial pictures were randomly presented with equal probability (ISI: from 1 000 ms to 1 500 ms randomly), and the subjects were asked to react to facial stimuli and non-facial stimuli by pressing the left button and right button respectively as quickly as possible. Thirty two channel electroencephalogram (EEG) was recorded by Neuroscan Nuamps System. Results 1) Specific-face component Nd170 (face N170 minus object N170) was found in both groups, which was distributed at the temporal-occipital region in control groups but at occipital region in internet addiction group; 2) Compared with Nd170 in internet addiction group, Nd170 was significantly lower at occipital negion and delayed in control group. Conclusion The early face processing mechanism of internet addiction patients may be different from normal people.

Objective Recent studies show that the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway is a key regulatory signal in both bone for-mation and bone remodeling .The experiment aimed to investigate the effects of inhibiting the PI 3K/Akt signaling pathway on the prolif-eration and cell cycles of MC3T3-E1 cells. Methods We treated MC3T3 -E1 cells with PF-04691502 the inhibitor of the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway .Then we determined the proliferative activity of the cells by MTS assay , detected the cell cycles by flow cytometry , and measured the expression of cell cycle-related proteins by Western blot . Results After inhibition of the PI3K/Akt signaling path-way with PF-04691502 at 30, 150 and 750 nmol/L, the proliferation of MC3T3-E1 cells was reduced in a dose-dependent manner to 0.647 ±0.041, 0.423 ±0.011 and 0.159 ±0.004, respectively, as compared with 1 ±0.056 in the control group (P<0.01).Sim-ultaneously , the percentage of the cells in the sub-G1 phase was significantly higher in the 1 μmol/L group than in the control ([1.45 ±0.43]%vs [0.27 ±0.21]%, P<0.01) and the expression of cyclin D1 was decreased. Conclusion Inhibition of the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway can block MC 3T3-E1 cells in the sub-G1 phase and reduce the proliferation of the cells .

Objective To study the relationship between lymph node micrometastasis and clinicopathological parameters. Methods Immunohistochemical method was adopted to detect CK19,CK20 and CD44v6 in 509 lymph nodes from 53 cases of gastric cancer, in which, conventional pathological diagnosis showed no lymph node metastasis. Results Micrometastasis was found in 47 lymph nodes (9.2%) of 21cases ( 39.6 %). Objective To investigate the feasibility of biomedical fibrin glue in laparoscopic treatment of peptic ulcer perforation.Methods A total of 126 patients with peptic ulcer perforation were randomly divided into two groups (63 in each group).Biomedical fibrin glue was used in treatment group,and routine treatment was used in control group.The total volume of drainage after operation,rate of intestnial fistula and adhesions,allergy reaction,time of drainage tube removal,and average hospotal stay time were observed in both groups.Results There was no allergic reaction in treatment group.Total volume of drainage in treatment group was(65.3?7.5)mL,and (110.2?9.6)mL in control group,with a significant difference between the two groups(P

Objective To investigate the postoperative complication and nursing experience of hand-assisted laparoscopic J-type ileal pouch-anal anastomosis (IPAA) in familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP). Methods A total of 36 patients with FAP who had undergone hand-assisted laparoscopic J-type ileal pouch- anal anastomosis (IPAA) were analyzed retrospectively. Results The postoperative complication included ileal pouch bleeding in 2 cases, urinary retention in 3 female patients, external hemorrhoids swelling in 3 cases, and anastomotic fistula in 2 cases. Six cases had ileum pouch inflammation during the postoperative follow- up. All the complications were relieved after conservative medical therapy. Conclusions IPAA operation puts forward high technical requirements with more postoperative complications. Therefore, it is important to strengthen nursing of the patients, reduce postoperative complication and increase quality of life of FAP.

Objective To investigate the mRNA expression of survivin, livin and XIAP gene in peripheral blood of patients with gastric cancer and its relationship with clinico-pathological features.Methods This study included 50 patients with gastric cancer and 20 healthy donors. The expression of survivin, livin and XIAP gene was detected by reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-QPCR) using a molecular beacon probe, while recombination plasmid containing the sequence of survivin, livin and XIAP was standard. The relationship between copies of survivin, livin and XIAP gene expression in peripheral blood with gastric cancer and clinical data was analyzed. Results A linear standard curve was obtained between 103 ～ 1010 copies. The copies of survivin, livin and XIAP mRNA in peripheral blood of patients with gastric cancer did not correlate with gender, age, and histological types ( P ＞ 0.05). There were positive relationships between copies of survivin, livin and XIAP gene with lymph node metastasis and TNM stage (P ＜0.05 ). The expression of survivine, livin and XIAP was all negative in peripheral blood of healthy people. 52% (17/33) of patients suffered from recurrence or metastasis who had positive expression of survivin and/or livin and/or XIAP mRNA, while it was 18% (3/17)among the negative survivin and/or livin and/or XIAP mRNA caces ( P ＜ 0.05). Conclusions The expression of survivin, livin and XIAP mRNA can be used to detecte micro-metastasis in peripheral blood circulation of gastric cancer.

Objective To study the anatomy of the innervation of hallucis longus muscle,and discuss the clinical value of the innervation.Methods Nineteen limbs of 10 cadavers were studied.There were 4 female cadavers and 6 male cadavers.Nine were left legs and 10 were right legs.The specimens were anatomied to confirm the tibialis anterior,extensor digitorum longus and hallucis longus muscle.The innervation of hallucis longus muscle was been observed along the deep peroneal nerve.Measuring the muscular branches length (nerve length,NL),the distance from the tip of the fibular head to the muscular brance (nerve-fibula head length,NFL),and fibular length (fibula length,FL).The hematoxylin and eosin stain was used to observe the numbers of nerve fascicle for each branch of EHL.Results Twenty-three muscle branches of hallucis longus muscle were found in 19 limbs,15 limbs had a single branch,4 limbs had the double branches.All branches were originated in the deep peroneal nerve.Fourteen branches were into hallucis longus muscle from the fibular side,3 from anterior side,6 from the tibial side.The fibula length was 37.0±1.9 cm (range,34.5-40.6 cm); the nerve-fibula head length was 89.0±5.2 mm (range,75.4-97.2 mm);nerve length was 48.5±5.0 mm (range,33.6-57.4 mm); the nerve-fibula head length/fibula length was 0.245±0.020 (range,0.211-0.280).Among 15 specimens with single branch,3 branches had a unique nerve fascicle and 12 had two fascicles.Among 4 specimens with doulbe branches,only 1 branch had two fascicles,7 branches had a unique fascicle.Conclusion Special anatomical features of muscular branches might be the reason of isolated extensor hallucis longus dysfunction.
