Purpose To evaluate the curative effect of acupuncture on depressive neurosis. Method Sixty-two patients were randomly divided into a treatment group of 32 cases and a control group of 30 cases. The treatment group and the control group were treated with acupuncture and Fluoxetine, respectively. The curative effects were evaluated by HAMD. Results There was a significant difference between pretreatment and posttreatmentin each group ( P < 0.02 ). There were no significantdifferences in curative effect and score reduction rate between the two groups ( P > 0.05). But acupuncture had no side effects and was good in compliance. Conclusion Acupuncture is an effective method for treating depressive neurosis.

Objective This study aims to develop a lottery addiction scale (LAS) for Chinese welfare lot-tery buyers. Methods A scale made by authors was applied to 8238 welfare lottery buyers from 31 provinces,one sample of 4071 cases for exploratory factor analysis (EFA) ,and the other 4167 cases for confirmatory factor analy-sis (CFA). Results Through EFA, the scale consisted 10 items established, and it was divided into two factors: functional impairment and emotional dependency. These two factors could explain 45.5% of total variance, The scale was confirmed by CFA (X2/df=13.34 ;IFI=0.96 ;CFI=0.96 ;NFI=0.96 ;RSMEA = 0.054). The internal consistencies of the scale answered to the basic statistic criterion (r=0.59～0.74). Criteria validity shown by higher LAS scores in high expending group than low expending group was also satisfying. Conclusion The LAS has good psychometric features and could be applied to Chinese lottery buyers.

Objective To explore the mental-behavior characteristics in serious internet game addicts.Methods To investigate internet addiction questionnaire, EPQ, social support questionnaire, purpose in life test and sensation seeking scale in 30 serious internet game addicts ( age from 16 ～ 25 years) and 43 non-addicts.Results Internet addicts have obviously lower social support questionnaire score, subjective support score, purpose in life test score and sensation seeking TAS score than non-addicts( P<0.05 or P<0.01 ). Objective support score, the use score for social support and sensation seeking score can forecast the internet addiction extent of the internet addict group. Internet addicts have obviously lower L score of EPQ than non-addicts ( P<0.01 ). There is the negative correlation between N score of the internet addicts and sensation seeking score( r=-0. 452, P<0.05). Conclusions Serious internet game addicts have the metal characteristics of low social support, low purpose in life and low adventure; sensation seeking and social support scale have prognosticative function for internet addiction degree; serious internet game addicts of low N score have high sensation seeking characteristic.

Being a part of the microcirculatoty system,retinal microvasculature may have similar morphology change as cardio-and cerebro-microvasculature under the pathological conditions.Although no study has proved that there exists causal relationship between retinal microvasculature change and cardiovascular diseases (CVD) , realizing their connection is extremely vital for ophthalmologists to evaluate the status of the systemic microcirculation, predict the occurrence of CVD, and proceed primary prevention by visible information of retinal microvascular alteration.In addition,for the patients suffering from retinal vascular occlusion,especially those with undiagnosed systemic diseases like CVD,ignoring systemic examinations may delay proper treatment and lead to the consequences of ill health.In conclusion, ophthalmologists should recognize the association of retinal microvasculature changes with systemic vascular diseases and provide useful information for primary prevention and early diagnosis and treatment of systemic vascular diseases.

Objective To evaluate the level of serum cholesterol in patients with progressive gastric cancer and gastric ulcer before and after operation, and the relationship between the level of serum cholesterol and the clinical differential degree of progressive gastric cancer . Methods To measure the content of serum cholesterol in patients with progressive gastric cancer and gastric ulcer before operation and after operation 10 day. The size of tumor, infiltration, metastasis and the pattern of the operation were studied statistically. Results The level of serum cholesterol in group of progressive gastric cancer was significant lower than that of normal control group(P 0.05 ) in group A, but there was significant difference in group B after the operation(P

EPA exists wildly in artery vascular endothelium and could be activated by endogenously activated substances and regulate the vascular tone. The endothelium-dependent vascular relaxation mediated by EPA has been used for almost 20 years as an indicator of endothelium dysfunction. In many cardio-vascular diseases, EPA function was down-regulated. The pharmacological profiles of EPA could be characterized by muscarinic properties, as well as non-muscarinic properties in selectivity for agonists and antagonists and in binding characteristics. The endogenous ligand, receptor type and molecular pharmacological characteristics of EPA are waiting to be investigated.

Objective To explore the clinical effect of microendoscopic discectomy through posterior approach in old patients with multilevel lumber spinal stenosis and analyze the influence factors that related to clinical effect .Methods 64 old patients with multilevel lumber spinal stenosis were selected and divided into microendoscopic group and open group based on different operation method ,each group contained 32 patients .Comparison was made between two groups in respects of operation time ,amount of bleed-ing ,hospital time post-operation and Nakai scores .Analyzed the influence factors that related to clinical effect .Results The opera-tion time ,amount of bleeding ,hospital time post-operation in microendoscopic group were lower than open group ,the differences had statistical significance .Based on the Nakei score ,the curative effect in microendoscopic group was slightly lower than open group ,but the differences had no statistical significance .The JOA score pre-operation ,walking distances and complication were rela-tive factors that could influence the clinical effect of microendoscopic discectomy through posterior approach method .Conclusion Microendoscopic discectomy through posterior approach in old patients with multilevel lumber spinal stenosis had quicker postoper-ative recovery than conventional operation ,and the JOA score pre-operation ,walking distances and complication were relative fac-tors that could influence the clinical effect of microendoscopic discectomy through posterior approach method .

Fish bones are the most common pharyngeal foreign bodies encountered in the ENT emergency. Many fish bones may be buried in the surrounding soft tissue of the pharynx and larynx. Any delayed treatment for these foreign bodies may cause catastrophic complications. We present a case of 51-year-old woman who had an ingested fish bone migrating to the retropharyngeal space. We used spiral Computed tomography scanning (CT, taken at intervals of 2mm) with dimensional reconstruction for the accurate location diagnosis and surgical planning. We treated successfully before any complication by transoral Laser CO2 microsurgery.

Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of improved covered metallic stents for proximal malignant esophageal strictures.Methods A total of 56 patients with proximal malignant esophageal strictures were treated with improved covered metallic stents whose diameter was 14 mm or 16 mm at Shanxi Province Tumor Hospital from Feburary 2013 to August 2014.Swallowing condition, physical and life quality were compared before and after surgery and analyzed.At the same time, side effects and complications were recorded during and after surgery.Results All 56 patients were treated successfully with improved covered metallic stents, no complications related with stents occurred after surgery.Swallowing conditions were improved after surgery, there were 45 patients with obvious improvement, 10 patients with better improvement and 1 patient's stent taken out due to stent intolerance.Remission rate of swallowing conditions was 98.2％ (55/56).Two weeks after surgery, Stooler of swallowing conditions obviously improved (t =7.05, P ＜ 0.05), physical conditions (ZPS) also improved (t =22.49, P ＜ 0.05), but there was no significant difference in life quality (Kamofsky scores) (t =1.07, P ＞ 0.05).During 90 days of follow-up there was no hemorrhage or perforation.Conclusion The application of improved covered metallic stents for proximal malignant esophageal strictures is safe and effective.
