Objective To evaluate the CT appearance of the hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC) supplied by the right inferior phrenic arteries (RIPA). Methods A total of 195 consecutive cases of HCCs examined with helical CT and arteriography were studied. 15 proven HCCs cases were supplied by the RIPA. On arterial phase CT images, the size of the RIPA, the left inferior phrenic arteries, and HCCs were measured, and the origin of RIPA and the location of HCCs were recorded. The CT findings in these 15 cases were correlated with arteriographic images. Results CT showed RIPA on the right diaphragmatic crus as high attenuation in all patients. Objective To dynamically observe the changes of subsets of splenocytes in mice by immunization with recombinant BCG-Eg95 vaccine of Echinococcus granulosus(Eg).Methods Balb/c mice were divided randomly into 3 groups according to their weishts:intranasal group.per os group and PBS control.The mice were vaccinated intranasally or orally by the vaccine respectively in experimental groups.and the control mice were given phosphate buffer saline intranasally.These mice were killed to get spleen on 0,2,4,6,8,10,12, 14,16 and 18 week of immunization,respectively.Splenocytes were separated to measure subsets of CD4+ and CD8+T ceUs by FACsort.Results There were marked differences in ratio of CD4+ and CD8+ subsets among the different groups(F value were 21.56 and 22.08 respectively,P＜0.05).There were very marked differences in ratio of CD4+ and CD8+ subsets in different weeks(F value were 5.75 and 6.29 respectively.P＜0.01).In the intranasal group,CD4+ and CD8+ T subsets increased obviously in 6～18 weeks and 12 weeks,and reached the highest level on 10 and 12 week,espectively.Their values were 0.348±0.013 and 0.090±0.003.respectively.There were marked or very marked differences(q value were 7.32 and 5.32 respectively,P＜0.01 or＜0.05)in comparison with 0 week(0.230±0.022 and 0.069±0.015).In the oral group,CD4+and CD8+ subsets rose reinarkablv on 6-16 weeks and 8-18 weeks,achieved the hishest level on 10 and 16 weeks,respectively.Their vahes were 0.405± 0.006 and 0.096±0.004,respectively.There were marked or very marked difference(q value were 7.53 and 5.35 respectively,P＜0.01 or＜0.05)in comparison with week 0(0.230±0.022 and 0.069±0.015).Conclusion CD4+and CD8+T subsets may play an important role in immune response induced in mice by rBCG-Eg95 vaccine.

Objective To investigate the changes of cytokines of splenocytes in mice immunized with recombinant BCG-Em Ⅱ/3 vaccine of Echinococcus multilocularis(Em)and consequently challenged with Em protoscoleces.Methods Balb/c mice were subcutaneously or intranasally vaccinated and challenged with Em were separated and cultured with EmAg,ConA or PHA,respectively.The supematants were gathered to measure the levels of IL-2,IFN-γ,TNF-α.and IL-4 by ELISA Kits.Results The levels of IL-2,IFN-γ,TNF-α and IL-4 in the subcutaneous group were(34.6±2.7),(34.5±2.8),(265.0 ±0.0)and(9.8±2.6)ng/L respeetively:those in the intranasal group were(32.5±2.2),(33.6±2.7),(130.0±0.0)and(10.4±27)ng/L respectively;those in the control were(25.0±1.9),(30.0±0.0),(10.0±0.0)and(12.5±2.7)ng/L,respectively:there were statistical differences between the immunized groups and control group(P＜0.01 or＜0.05);The level of TNF-α in the subcutaneous group was higher than that in the intranasal group.Conclusion Th1 response has been induced in mice vaccinated with rBCG-Em Ⅱ/3 vaccine and challenged with Em protoscoleces.

Objective To dynamically observe changes of IgG, its subclasses and IgE in sera of mice by immunization with mixed recombinant of BCG-Em Ⅱ/3 and BCG-Em14-3-3 vaccine of Echinococcus multilocularis (Era). Methods Forty Balb/c mice of 12-14 week old and 20-25 g weight were intranasally vaccinated by the vaccine, 4 mice were killed randomly by the weight on 0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16 and 18 weeks of immunization respectively, sera were gathered from the eyeball to measure IgG, its subclasses and IgE by routine ELISA. Results Levels of IgG, IgG2a and IgG2b in the sera of mice increased obviously on 2-18 weeks, reached the highest level on 10, 4 and 4 weeks respectively, the value was 0.095±0.033,0.022±0.001,0.023±0.003 respectively, as compared with the value on 0 week(0.030±0.013,0.012±0.004,0.013±0.004), the difference being statistically significant(q=2.95,4.87,2.81 respectively, P < 0.01 or P < 0.05); levels of IgG1, IgG3 and IgE in the sera of mice decreased remarkably on 2-18 weeks,came to the lowest level on 4,2,6 weeks respectively, the value was 0.031±0.004,0.136±0.002,0.114±0.002 respectively, as compared with the value on 0 week(0.192±0.007, 0.175±0.013,0.024±0.003), the difference being statistically significant (q =5.16,4.93,5.32 respectively, P < 0.01 or P < 0.05). Conclusion Helper T cell(TH) Ⅰ response is induced in mice by mixed recombinant of BCG-Em Ⅱ/3 and BCG-Em14-3-3 vaccine on early immunization.

ObjectiveTo observe the curative effect of galvanoiontophoresis combined with ultrashort wave therapy on cervical vertebrae disease-derived arrhythmia.Methods112 patients with cervical vertebrae disease-derived arrhythmia were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group with 56 cases in each group. All patients of two groups were treated with antiarrhythmia drug, Sibelium and traditional Chinese medicine. While, the patients of the treatment group were added with galvanoiontophoresis combined with ultrashort wave therapy to eliminate the aseptic inflammation.ResultsThe cure rate and total effective rate of the treatment group were 51.8% and 94.6%. Those of the control group were 16.1% and 76.8%. The effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group significantly ( P<0.01).ConclusionThe galvanoiontophoresis combined with ultrashort wave therapy has a better effect on cervical vertebrae disease-derived arrhythmia.

Objective To summarize the clinical data of 45 cases of familial adenomatous polyposis(FAP) and the experiences of treatment and diagnosis of FAP. Methods Retrospectively analyzed of the clinical data was made on 45 FAP patients.The choice of operative procedure included total colectomy+ileostomy in 25 cases,subtotal colectomy+rectal polyposis electrocautery in 15,and total colectomy with ileo-anal anastomosis in 5. Results Average age of patients at first diagnosis was 33.5 years. A family history was found in 35 patients. Bleeding, diarrhea, pain are common clinical presentations, and the numbers of polyposis were all more than 100. All patients without malignant change survived for 3-21years;and metastasis of liver was the main cause of death in patients with malignant change. There were age differences between malignant and non malignant group. Conclusions FAP lacks typical clinical presentation, and misdiagnosis is not uncommon. Surgical therapy should be done on an individual basis and according to the actual condition of patients.

Objective To evaluate the causes,prevention and treatment ot laparoscopic comphca- tions in urologic surgery.Methods From May 2000 to May 2004,135 urologic laparoscopies were per- formed,including 17 transperitoneal laparoscopies and 118 retroperitoneal laparoscopies.Of the135 cases,26 had adrenal adenoma extirpation;31 had roof-removal and decompression of renal cyst;25 had radical ne- phrectomy;6 had pyeloplasty;2 had partial resection of renal capsula and encapsulation of the great omen- tum;2 had partial nephrectomy;4 had pelviureteral resection;13 had ligation of renal pedicle lymphatic ves- sel;2 had ureterolysis;7 had ureterolithotomy;12 had ligation of spermophlebectasis;5 had exploration,re- duction and fixation of undescended testis.The intra-and post-operative complications were retrospectively reviewed and clinically analyzed.Results Overall,14 cases(10.4%)had complications.Intraoperative complications occurred in 10 cases,including 6 cases of peritoneal injuries,which were clamped during oper- ation;4 of vascular injuries,which resulted in conversion to open surgery.Postoperative complications oc- curred in 4 cases,including 2 of subcutaneous emphysema,which was spontaneously absorbed at 5 and 7 d after operation;1 of incision seepage,which was drained for 40 d and then disappeared;and 1 of urine reten- tion,for which urethral catheterization was kept for 3 d and then the patient had voluntary voiding.No death occurred in this series.Conclusions Understanding the characteristics of laparoscopic complications in u- rologic surgery and systematic training of the surgeons can reduce the occurrence of complications.

Objective To evaluate the nutritional status of iodine of pregnant and lactating women in coastal and inland areas of Zhejiang province,and to provide scientific basis for iodine supplementation.Methods In 2009,five coastal cities,five coastal counties and three inland areas from Zhejiang province were selected by the cluster sampling method,and one sub-district(township) was randomly selected in each city (county),then one community (village) was randomly selected in each sub-district (township).Thirty pregnant women,thirty lactating women and fifty children aged 8 - 10,were randomly selected in each community(village) as the investigation objects to collect instant urine samples to detect urine iodine,and to collect thirty resident edible salt and some water samples to detect salt iodine and water iodine,if the numbers of water source were more than 5 then 1 water sample was collected by their location of east,south,west,north and center in each community(village),otherwise,the numbers of water samples collected were equal to the number of community (village).Results The medians of salt iodine of coastal city,coastal county and inland area were 28.42,25.29,and 33.24 mg/kg,respectively,and the medians of water iodine correspondingly were 5.41,11.52,and 2.80 μg/L,respectively.The medians of urinary iodine of pregnant and lactating women in Zhejiang province were 148.72 and 161.34 μg/L,respectively,which were less than that of children aged 8 - 10(231.02 μg/L,Z =8.57,8.24,all P ＜ 0.017).The medians of urinary iodine in pregnant women from different areas were ranked in order as inland areas(211.42 μg/L),coastal counties (150.51 μg/L) and coastal cities (123.33 μg/L,Z =2.80,5.31,2.42,all P ＜ 0.017),and in lactating women,the medians of urinary iodine in inland areas( 197.43 μg/L) was higher than that in coastal cities( 139.64 μg/L,Z =4.03,P ＜ 0.017).Conclusions The overall levels of iodine nutrition in lactating and pregnant women in Zhejiang province are in the appropriate level,but that of the pregnant women in the coastal cities is inadequate.

Isolation and purification of chemical constituents from solid culture of endophyte Chaetomium globosum in Imperata cylindrical was performed through silica gel column chromatography, gel filtration over Sephadex LH-20 and preparative HPLC. Nine compounds were obtained and their structures were determined as chaetoglobosin F(1), chaetoglobosin Fex(2), chaetoglobosin E(3) cytoglobosin A(4), penochalasin C(S), isochaetoglobosin D (6), N-benzoylphenylalaninyl-N-benzoyphenylalaninate(7), uracil(8) and 5-methyluracil(9), respectively, based on HR-MS and NMR data and comparison with literatures. Compound 7 was isolated from Chaeeomium sp. for the first time. In vitro cytotoxicity of compounds was evaluated using MTT mothed and 1,3,4 and 5 showed inhibition activity to the human cervical carcinoma cell HeLa with IC50 values of 99.43, 23.77, 97.92, 86.25 micromol x L(-1), while positive cotolocisnin Ad apno1ch alse IC50 24.33 micromol x L(-1).
