Objective To analyze the clinical features and interval of multiple primary carcinoma (MPC). Methods 52 patients with MPCs between October 2002 and May 2007 were reviewed. Results 7 patients had synchronous carcinoma (13.46%), and 45 had metachronous carcinoma (86.54%). The interval between the first primary cancer and MPC was from 0 to 31 years, averaged 7.1 years.
