ObjectiveTo investigate the status medicine taking in rural schizophrenic patients.MethodsThe families of 217 schizophrenic patients in a town of Shaoxing rural area were investigated with self-made questionnaire.Results and Conclusion125 cases routinely took medicine(57.6%). The main reason caused patients to resist taking medicine was absence of family or family's care. The medicine were obtained from hospital, drugstore, free drugs from mental preventing organization, mail-order, half or more of them were free. Only 53.46% of the objects would like to receive free drugs. The most of the others want to give up. The objects suggested mental preventing organization to provide more kinds and costly free drugs, simplify procedures of obtaining drugs, permit to receive more drugs at a time and be more kindly.

Objective To study on the value and safety of early endoscopic retrograde cholangiopan-creatography (ERCP)and endoscopic sphincterotomy (EST) in acute biliary pancreatitis. Methods Ninety-two patients with acute biliary pancreatitis underwent early ERCP (within 72 hours) and received endoscopic therapy (ERCP group). Another 40 patients with acute biliary pancreatitis were treated conservatively without ERCP (control group). The disappearance of abdominal pain, decrease of serum amylase level, the mean days and costs of hospitalization and complications were observed in all patients. Results In ERCP group, all patients were performed EST, stones in 72 choledocholithiasis patients had been removed with net-basket or air pocket. Ten cases of severe acute biliary pancreatitis received endoscopic pancreatic duct stents drainage. Ninety two cases of acute biliary pancreatitis received endoscopic nasal catheter bile drainage. The days of the disappearance of abdominal pain, the decrease of serum amylase levels, the cost of the hospitalization and the days of the hospitalization were significantly shorter in the early ERCP group than in the control group. The mortalities in ERCP and control group were 8. 3% and 33. 3% respectively. Conclusion Early ERCP endoscopic therapy is a safe procedure has the superiorities in lowering the mortality, hospital days and expense.

Objective We reported the rehabilitative nursing points of patients with pectoralis minor muscle transplantation for recovery of thumb oppositional function. Methods We selected 10 patients who underwent pectoralis minor muscle transplantation for recovery of thumb oppositional function and gave them perfect preoperative examination and psychological nursing. We also implemented rigorous monitoring postoperation and auxiliary electric stimulation and functional exercises. The emphasis was put on the exercise of thumb oppositional function. Results The thumb oppositional function of all the ten patients recovered. The myodynamia reached level 4 and the shape of thenar was satisfying after 6 to 12 months of follow-up visit. Conclusions Sufficient preoperative psychological nursing and effective postoperative rehabilitative treatment had pivotal significance for the success of operation and the recovery of thumb oppositional function.

Objective To explore the quality of life (QOL) and its influential factors among patients with 3 major rheumatic diseases. Methods A total of 216 patients with rheumatic diseases (84 patients with systemic lu- pus erythematosus, SLE, 83 with rheumatoid arthritis, RA, and 49 with ankylosing spondylitis, AS) were recruited. Objective To explore the role of Na~+/H~+ exchanger 1(NHE1) in injury of human renal tubular cells(HK-2) induced by postasphyxial-serum of neonates.Methods HK-2 was used as the target cell.The attacking concentration of postasphyxial-serum of neonates was 200 mL/L.First,the experiment was designed as control group and asphyxia group,the expression of NHE1 in the HK-2 was detected by immunohisto chemical method in the cells.Second,the experiment group was designed as control group,asphyxia group,and pretreatment with 5-N-Ethyl-N-isopropylamiloride(EIPA) group,then the change of morphology was observed under inverted microscope,and the cell viability was measured by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT) method,and the leakage rate of lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) was determined by biochemical methods.Results Compared with blank control group,the expression of NHE1 in the HK-2 was increased signi-ficantly in asphyxia group,the changes of morphology of HK-2 was most serious and obvious,the cell viability decreased,and the leakage rate of LDH increased significantly in asphyxia group.But compared with asphyxia group,the change of morphology of HK-2 was greatly improved,the cell injury was decreased obviously,the leakage rate of LDH was increased and viability was decreased in pretreatment group in a dose 2 ?mol/L.Conclusions The postasphyxial-serum may induce the expression of NHE1,which plays an important role in injury of renal tubular cell induced by postasphyxial-serum in neonates,and inhibiting activity of NHE1 may relieve the injury of renal tubular cells induced by postasphyxial-serum in neonates.

This study is to establish an UPLC fingerprint of Resina Draconis from different manufacturers, which can provide a comprehensive evaluation for its quality control. The analysis was performed on a Phenomenex Kinetex 2.6 μ C18 100A column by agradientelution program with acetonitrile-water as mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.7 mL x min(-1). The column temperature was 40 degrees C and the detection wavelengthwas 280 nm. The fingerprints of 18 batches of Draconis Resina were further evaluated by chemometrics methods including similarity analysis (SA), hierarchical clustering analysis (HCA) and principal component analysis (PCA). As a result, there were 15 common peaks, 13 of which had been identified by LC-Q-TOF MS, and the similarity degrees of 15 batches of the samples was more than 0.9, and the samples were divided into 4 clusters by their quality difference. The method is reproducible, simple and reliablethat it can be used for quality control and evaluation of Resina Draconis from different manufacturers.

Objective To observe the steps of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) calcification induced by high phosphate enviroment in vitro. Methods VSMCs were incubated with high phosphate (2.5 mmol/L or 3.5 mmool/L) medium for different times. Expression of core binding factor α1(Cbfα1), osteopontin(OP), collagen type Ⅰ(Col Ⅰ), osteocalcin(OC) and α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) was investigated by Western blot, immunofluorcscencc staining and real time PCR. Mineral deposition was assessed by von Kossa aad Alizarin red staining. Ultrastructure of VSMCs calcification was observed by electron microscopy (EM). Results Up-regulated expression of osteoblast-specific transcription factor Cbfα1 in the nuclei oceured at as early as 12 hours. The protein of Col Ⅰ and OP was up-regalated when VSMCs were incubated in high phosphate medium for 3 days, and content of OC increased at the time of 6 days. When cultured in 2.5 mmol/L phosphate medium for 15 days, VSMCs lost their lineage marker α-SMA, developed granular calcium deposits. Moreover, the results of real time PCR indicated mRNA level of OP and Col Ⅰ increased at day 1, OC increased at day 5 and α-SMA level decreased at day 10, respectively. Ultrastructural analysis also confirmed the presence of collagen and matrix vesicles in the cells. Conclusion VSMCs phenotype transformation induced by high phosphate enviroment is an orchestrated, highly regulated process.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the therapeutic effect of minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy (MPCNL) under ultrasonic and X-ray guidance in the treatment of complicated renal calculi.

METHODSA retrospective analysis was conducted among 36 patients undergoing MPCNL under ultrasonic and X-ray guidance for complicated renal calculi. The general clinical data, stone size, operative time, blood loss, complications and stone clearance rate were analyzed.

RESULTSDouble working channel was established accurately under ultrasonic and X-ray guidance in the 36 cases. The stone clearance rate in one treatment session was 80.56%, with an average operation time of 100 min and a mean hospital stay of 13.5 days (13-15 days) after operation. A second lithotripsy was performed in 5 cases and no residual renal calculi were found 1 month after the operation. Sixteen out of the 18 patients with preoperative elevation of serum creatinine recovered normal creatinine level after the operation.

CONCLUSIONMPCNL under ultrasonic and X-ray guidance is safe and effective for treatment of complicated renal calculi and is associated with few postoperative complications.
