3.ULTRASTRUCTURAL STUDIES ON PARIETAL CELLS OF MOUSE STOMACH USING CL~- LOCALIZATION AND POLYSACCHARIDES STAINING TECHNIQUES
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1953;0(01):-
Cl~- localization and periodic acid-silver methenamine techniques have been used for ultrastructural studies on parietal cells of mouse stomach. Cl~- is located only in the intracellular canaliculi (IC) and intercellular space (IS)of parietal cells. The tubulovesicular system (TS) shows various reactions in periodic acid-silver methenamine staining. The positive reaction was demonstrated in the TS which is located near the apical membranes. This indicates that acid secretion is accompanied by polysaccharides secretion in which the TS takes part, and the polysaccharides secretory activity shows its cyclicity which is characterized by the changes of amounts of secretion. The cycle of parietal cells do not synchronize.

5.A study on correlation between thromboxane A2 receptor gene polymorphism and aspirin resistance
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine in Intensive and Critical Care 2014;(3):175-179
Objective To investigate the association between thromboxane A2 receptor(TXA2R)gene C795T, T924C,G1686A,rs2271875,rs768963 polymorphisms and aspirin resistance(AR)in Chinese Han population. Methods 168 in-patients with cerebral infarction who had been given aspirin from Zhejiang Provincial Taizhou Central Hospital from October 2009 to May 2013 were enrolled. The platelet aggregation rate was conducted by optical method. The inspections of triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)were conducted by enzymatic colorimetry, whereas blood glucose was tested by hexokinase method. The genotypes of three exons loci C795T,T924C,G1686A and two promoters loci rs2271875,rs768963 polymorphisms in TXA2R gene were detected by the polymerase chain reaction-ligase detection reaction(PCR-LDR)technique. The patients were divided into aspirin sensitive group(AS group,139 cases) and AR group(39 cases)according to the aspirin sensitive degree. The differences between two groups in age, smoking, serum TG,TC,HDL-C,LDL-C,concentration of blood glucose and blood pressure(systolic pressure, diastolic pressure)were compared, and in the mean time, the differences between two groups of TXA2R C795T, T924C,G1686A,rs2271875,rs768963 genotype distribution were also compared. Results AR group had higher incidences of cigarette smoking〔89.7%(35/39)vs. 69.8%(90/129)〕and high blood sugar(mmol/L:8.086±2.785 vs 5.631±1.662,P<0.05 and P<0.01)than those in the AS group. There were no statistical significant differences between the two groups in age, serum TG,TC,HDL-C,LDL-C and blood pressure, gender, cases with carotid artery plaque(all P>0.05). It was shown that there was no correlation between TXA2R gene polymorphism and AR. Conclusion The patients with smoking, high concentration of blood glucose have a higher incidence of AR,no correlation between TXA2R gene polymorphism and AR is found.
6.A viewpoint of environment concerned therapy through exploring the body constitute distribution of Shimian county
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(7):592-595
Objective To investigate the difference of TCM body constitution betweenpeople of the Shimian county and Chengdu city. Methods 200 sub-health patients in clinic of Shimian TCM Hospital were selected randomly. Another 200 sub-health patients in clinic of the Second Sichuan Province Hospital of TCM wererandomly selected. The two groups were identified with TCM body constitution based on the clinical symptoms, tongue, pulse condition, etc. Comparisons on body constitution were made between the two groups. Results In Chengdu, patients withbalance constitution and Qi deficiency constitution (respectively have the proportion of 33.0% and 20.0%)were significantly higher than thoseof Shimian County(the proportion of the two wererespectively 4.0% and 6.0%);while Shimian County have a significantly higher ratio of phlegm dampness and blood stasis constitution(43.5% and 13.0%)than those in Chengdu city(the proportion of the two wererespectively 8.0%and 4.0%), P<0.01. Conclusion Because of different regions, the population constitution ratio wasdifferent, so the disease tendency wasalso somewhat different. Therefore, physicians should give full consideration to the regional factors in diagnosing and treating patients.
7.Activity assay and preservation of S-homocysteine methyltransferase
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(12):1526-1528
Objective To construct a simple method for the measurement of activity of S-homocysteine methyltransferase (HMT),and explore the best processing condition for HMT and the preservation of HMT.Methods HMT was expressed in pro-karyotic system by using genetic engineering technology, then was purified by using affinity and Sephadex G1 5 chromatography. Sodium dodecyl sulphate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE)was performed to identify the physicochemical and bio-logical properties of target protein.Based on the principle of 5 ,5′-disulfide-double (2- nitro benzoic acid)(DTNB)could react with sulfydryl compounds rapidly, the reduction of homocysteine was detect to evaluate the activity of enzyme, then the best processing conditions of HTM were determined.Activity of enzyme, preserved in preservation solution with or without glycerol and preserved under different temperatures, was detected.Activity remaining ratios were detected and compared between HMT preserved in pres-ervation solution with different protective agents of different concentration and preserved by cryodesiccation. Results The purity of recombined HMT was above 95%,with molecular weight of 36 000 and excellent catalytic activity, and the catalytic activity was 2 000 U/mg.The optimum condition for the detection of biological activity was using HEPES buffer of pH 7.4 at 37 ℃ and reac-tion for 25 min.Glycerol could significantly prolong the preserving time of HMT,and half activity of HMT could be remained for six months. The reservation rates of activity of HMT,preserved in preservation solution with mannitol and trehalose, were 104%and 100%,respectively.Conclusion HMT could be obtained through genetic engineering.A simple test method of HMT was es-tablished,and the best processing conditions and preserving methods of HMT were determined, which laid a foundation for clinical application.

Chinese Journal of Health Management 2015;(4):306-310
Objective By comparing the prevalence of mental disorders and social demographic characteristics, to analyze the influencing factors of mental disorders in Xiamen city residents. Method Using multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling, 12 071 subjects aged 18 years and older were identified in Xiamen city. Eventually 10 764 subjects completed the survey, including 4 957 males, 5 807 females, 8 588 urban population and 2 176 rural population. The subjects were screened with the expanded version of GHQ-12, the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-Ⅳ-TR as a diagnostic tool, and made a determination whether they had mental disorder and specific diagnosis. Result The overall prevalence of mental disorders in Xiamen city was lower than that in other provinces and cities; it was only 3.46%(Shandong province 19.48%, Zhejiang province 17.27%, Qinghai province 18.04%, Hebei province 16.24%, Tianshui city 17.90%, Chengde city 17.71%, Baoding city 13.62%). The one of most common mental disorders was the alcohol use disorders in various provinces and cities, except in Xiamen city. The constituent ratio of Xiamen residents surveyed was 79.78%for urban, higher than those of other provinces and cities (Shandong province 24.91%,χ2=6 624.955,P<0.001;Zhejiang province 32.95%,χ2=3 601.752, P<0.001;Qinghai province 23.55%,χ2=4 991.289,P<0.001;Hebei province 15.95%,χ2=11 547.016,P<0.001;Tianshui city 16.05%,χ2=6 484.483,P<0.001;Chengde city 15.60%,χ2=2 930.811,P<0.001;Baoding city 11.80%,χ2=6 973.770,P<0.001). Most residents of Xiamen enjoyed at least one kind of health insurance (83.06%), higher than those of other provinces and cities (Zhejiang province 23.30%,χ2=8 868.617,P<0.001;Hebei province 8.68%,χ2=17 434.576,P<0.001;Tianshui city 11.20%,χ2=10 862.305, P<0.001;Chengde city 8.69%,χ2=5 884.478,P<0.001;Baoding city 9.54%,χ2=10 728.632,P<0.001). Conclusion The overall current prevalence of mental disorders in Xiamen city residents was lower than those of other provinces and cities. The reasons may be that there was higher degree of urbanization, better health care, no heavy drinking habits and other factors. There might be other protective factors which need to be further studied.
