2.Clinical analysis of Infections Complication Patients with Severe Hepatitis
Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the infection type, clinical features and prognosis in the infections complication patients with severe hepatitis. Methods 72 severe hepatitis patients with infections complication were analyzed retrospectively. Results The infection occurrence rate was 62.5% in the 72 severe hepatitis patients.Mortality rate was 75.56% in the patients with infections complication, and it was significantly higher than those without infections complication(29.63%).The mortality rate was 72.5% in the patients with multiple organ infections. The different bacterium infection could lead to different mortality rate,K.peneumoniae(69.89%),E.coli(58.12%),Staphylococcus aureaus(55.56%),Staphylococcus epidermidis(59.90%).The mortality rate was higher in the patients with lower sera albumin and higher serum bilirubin level. Conclusions The patients with severe hepatitis have bad outcome with infections complication. The prognosis is correlated with the dysfunction severity of liver and pathogenic bacteria.
3.On the Traditional Medical Treasures of Zhou Yi(also known as "the book of changes") and Qian Jin(Precious Essential Formulary,PEF)
Chinese Medical Ethics 1995;0(02):-
The traditional medical treasures of zhouyi and qianjin have much in common in the aspects of logic approach, recognition characteristics, values conception, theory construction, and category system, which demonstrate that the two doctrines are closely related both geographically and historically. Bearing the same cultural genes and value orientation, sharing similar constructions of logic approaches and recognition characteristics, the two doctrines contain a great deal of wisdom in recognition and practice.
4.The role of cyclooxygenase-2 in the growth and development of the endometrial lesions
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2008;15(10):1658-1659
Objective To study the role of cyclcoxygenase-2 in the growth and development of the endome-trial lesions. Methods The expression of cycloogxygenase-2 (COX-2) were tested by immunohistocbemistry. Compar-ison of endometrial cancer COX-2 expression was made within each group at different stages, for different pathological classification. Another groups comparison of COX-2 expression was made. Results ( 1 ) COX-2 in endometrial cancer in the different expression of other differences and differences were significant ( P<0.05 ). Ⅲ mainly for the period between the stage and the other had a significant difference( P<0.05 ). (2) COX-2 in endometrial cancer, hyperplasia and normal expression of the differences between endometriosis, the difference was significant ( P<0.05 ). (3)COX-2 in endometrium cancer different pathology graduation difference:G1(high idiophase) < G2(idiophase) < G3(low id-iophase), but does not have the difference after the comparison in statistics ( P>0.05 ). (4) The expression of COX-2 in simple hyperplasia and complex hyperplasia was statistically significant different ( P<0.05 ). Conclusion That COX-2 in the development of endometrial lesions play an important role, it could be inferred of COX-2 inhibitors for endometrial cancer treatment or treatment of postoperative the timing of the loss surgery patients is feasible.
5.Role of TRAF2 in AP-1 signaling pathway of human B cells
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the role of TRAF2 in AP-1 signaling pathway of human B cells. Methods Human Ramos B cells were transfected with plasmids expressing YFP fusion wild type TRAF2(YFP-WT-TRAF2) or YFP fusion dominant-negative TRAF2(DN-TRAF2),or transfected with shRNA-TRAF2 and control shRNA plasmid. After incubation overnight, cells were either sorted with flowcytometry or screened by antibiotics G418.Activation of AP-1 pathway, including phosphorylation of ERK,JNK and P38,as well as nuclear translocation of AP-1 subunits were detected by western blot and ELISA.Results Overexpression of WT-TRAF2 selectively induced activition of MAPK by phosphorylation of ERK and P38,and further induced nuclear translocation of C-FOS.Moreover,both overexpression of DN-TRAF2 and transfection of shRNA-TRAF2 inhibited phosphorylation of ERK and P38,and nuclear translocation of C-FOS.Conclusion TRAF2 selectively activates some kinases in CD40 mediated AP-1 signaling pathway, and plays an important role in AP-1 activation.
6.Subjective Well-being in College Students
Chinese Mental Health Journal 1992;0(01):-
Objective: To explore the influence of esteem, social support, locus of control and other variables on the subjective well-being (SWB) of college students. Methods: Index of Well-being, SSRS (social support rating scale) and MMCS (multi-dimensional multi-attribution causality scale) were used in 400 college students. Results: Urban and rural students differed in SWB, there was no significant difference in SWB between male and female. SWB was positively correlated with self-esteem and social support. SWB in the group of "external locus of control" was lower than that of"middle locus of control" and of"inner locus of control", while there was no significant difference between the later two groups. Conclusion:This study provides a base for further study on SWB of students.
8.Developments in the chemotherapy treatment for advanced colorectal cancer
China Oncology 1998;0(04):-
Metastatic colorectal cancer is a major cause of cancer-related mortality. Surgical resection of all known metastatic disease can be curative in selected patients. The majority of patients, however, require systemic chemotherapy as optimal palliative treatment for their disease. For years, effective treatment for advanced colorectal cancer was limited to fluorouracil. In the 1990s,two additional agents, irinotecan and oxaliplatin, were found to have activity against advanced colorectal cancer. Recently, new molecular targeted agents, bevacizumab and cetuximab, were for the first time demonstrated efficacy. Herein,we review recent developments in treatment for metastatic colorectal cancer and implication for optimal treatment in these patients.
9.Clinical characteristics of acute pulmonary embolism in 50 elderly patients
Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2000;0(06):-
500 ng/ml. Spiral-CT pulmonary arteriography(CTPA) was the main diagnostic method. Nineteen patients received thrombolytic therapy, Twenty-nine patients received anticoagulative therapy, 2 patients didn't receive any therapy because of bleeding. Five(10%) patients were cured, 43 (86%) patients got better, 2(4%) patients were dead. Conclusions The clinical manifestations of pulmonary embolism in the elderly were varied. CTPA is the main diagnostic method and ventilation-perfusion lung scan or pulmonary angiography can be done when it is necessary. Thrombolytic treatment can improve the survival rate of patients with acute pulmonary embolism.
10.Advance in the study of ?1,3 fucosyltransferase Ⅶ and glycoprotein CD24 in tumor metastasis
China Oncology 2006;0(10):-
Tumor recurrence and metastasis are the major cause for cancer patient death. Aberrant glycosylation is one of the important mechanisms of malignant tumor metastasis. The glycoprotein CD24, which could be a ligand for P-selectin on the surface of activated endothelial cells and platelets, appears to be a new diagnostic marker of tumors and possibly participates in tumor metastasis with unknown pathway. ?1,3 Fucosyltransferase Ⅶ (FucT-Ⅶ) is one of the fucosyltransferases which catalyze the transfer of a fucosyl residue from GDP-?-L-fucose to a sugar acceptor, usually galactose in the sugar chains of glycoproteins or glycolipids. The elevated expression of sialyl Lewis (SLeX), the only carbohydrate product of ?1,3 FucT-Ⅶ , predicts an ominous prognosis and high risk of recurrence and regulates the function of CD24. It is possible that ?1,3 FucT-Ⅶ may enhance the glycosylation of CD24 and thus promote the tumor metastasis.
