Maxillofacial gunshot wounds are usually contaminated with a large number of pathogenic microorganisms which are difficult to be cleared out thoroughly by the routine surgical debridement alone. In 12 dogs, we observed the effect of application of l% CIC in debridement on the infected gunshot wounds of the mandible contaminated with numerous different bacteria 72 h after gunshot. After the debridement of the routine method, bacterial cultures were positive in 10 of 12 dogs while all cultures were negative for the wounds treated with 1% CIC.We suggest that l% CIC, as a wound irrigating agent, is suitable for early debridement of the oral and maxillofacial injuries,especially for that of gunshot wounds.

Objective:This study aims to explore the relationship between respiratory tract of chemotactic cytokines and nitric oxide levels of infection.Methods:40 cases of patients as the observation group during August 2012 to August 2013 were selected in our hospital respiratory department of internal medicine were respiratory tract infection , healthy subjects 30 cases as the observation group,the observation group at the time of admission ,admission after 3 d,the 7 d after be admitted to hospital ,hospital of cytokines (TNF-α),nitric oxide (NO) and interleukin (IL-6,IL-17,IL-10) level difference,and were compared with the control groups Results:Patients in the observation group at the time of admission ,admission after 3 d,compared with 7 d after admission,discharge of TNF-α,NO,IL-6,IL-17,IL-10 level differences were statistically significant (F=10.849,P<0.05),with the extension of treatment time,symptoms gradually improved until the patients with respiratory tract infection , can be found in the above indexes all time is gradually decreased;the observation group the 3 d after be admitted to hospital ,the 7 d after be admitted to hospital discharge ,TNF-α, NO,IL-6,IL-17,IL-10 levels were compared with admission differences were statistically significant Conclusion: By measuring the levels of cytokines and NO levels in patients withrespiratory tract infection ,can judge the prognosis of patients.

Methods The total length of p27 KIP1 cDNA was transfected into human gastric cancer cells SGC7901 by lipofectin transfection. Expression of p27 KIP1 in protein or mRNA level was examined by Western blotting and RNA dot blotting respectively. Effect of p27 KIP1 on cell growth was observed by trpan blue exclusion assay. Tumorigenicity test in nude mice was applied to assess the biological effect of p27 KIP1 in vitro. Results Expression of p27 KIP1 in protein or mRNA increased evidently in SGC7901 cells transfected with p27 KIP1 . Objective:To investigate whether VLA-5 and VLA-6 are involved in facilitating en-dothelium-oriented transmigration of hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells. Methods:Purified hu-man CD34+ cells were subject to ex vivo transmigration assay and blocking experiments throughtranswell filter inserts coated with human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). Four-colorfluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) analysis was applied to detect the expression profilesof adhesion molecules and chemokine receptor CXCR-4 on CD34bright cells. Results:Stromal cell-derived factor (SDF)-1-induced transmigrations of both mobilized peripheral blood (mPB)-(56.6±20. 1)% and bone marrow (BM)- (15. 6±1. 8)% derived CD34+ cells were significantlyfacilitated through HUVECs-coated transwell filter insters compared with noncoated ones, whichwere efficiently blocked by preincubation of CD34+ cells with neutralizing antibodies to VLA-5,or VLA-6, or both of them; meanwhile the proportions of migrating CD34+ cells through bothHUVECs-coated and noncoated transwell filter inserts in BM were significantly lower than thosein mPB; the different percentages of migrating CD34+ cells between in mPB and BM were corre-lated with their variable expressions of VLA-5 and VLA-6, but not for VLA-4 or chemokine re-ceptor CXCR-4. Conclusion:Facilitating HS/PCs transmigrations through HUVECs are involvedin both VLA-5 and VLA-6.

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of the method of standard large trauma craniotomy in combination with therapeutic moderate hypothermia.Method Patients with acute severe head injuries (GCS≤8)were assigned into two groups:Group I,30 cases(average GCS≤ 5.38) received standard large trauma craniotomy and moderate hypothermia for 5-7 days;Group Ⅱ,30 cases(average GCS≤5.46)were treated with traditional treatment as control.Mortality,GCS,GOS and intracranial pressure (ICP) were compared between these two groups.Result Both the GCS and GOS were higher in the group Ⅰ than group Ⅱ;while the mortality and ICP were obviously lower in the group Ⅰ than that of the control group.Conclusions Early standard large trauma craniotomy plus adequate decompression followed by postoperative therapeutic moderate hypothermia would be helpful in reducing the mortality moderate and morbidity of patients with severe head injuries,their level of living accommodation were improved as well.

Objective To construct the inducible vector carrying green fluorescence protein(GFP). Methods We constructed an inducible vector pMD-GFP, including GFP cDNA, which allowed controlled expression of protein upon addition of 100 ?mol/L Zinc as an external inducer. The whole length of GFP cDNA were transfected into human hepatocellular cancer cells HCC-9204 by the method of lipofectin transfection. The expression of GFP was observed under fluorescence microscopy. Results The inducible vector carrying green fluorescence protein was successfully constructed. The observation under fluorescence microscopy showed that green fluorescence was spread in entire HCC-9204 cells transfected with GFP gene. Conclusion This new kind of the inducible vector could serve as a new tool and method for observing the growth and metastasis of neoplasm.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of p27 KIP1 transfection on cell cycle and apoptosis of hepatocellular carcinoma cells(HCC). MethodsWe used an inducible expression system pMD neo, which allowed controlled expression of protein upon addition of zinc as an external inducer. p27 KIP1 cDNA was transfected into human HCC 9204 cell line. Expression of p27 KIP1 was analyzed and cell growth was observed. ResultsExpression of p27 KIP1 in protein and mRNA increased significantly in HCC 9204 cell line transfected with p27 KIP1 . The cell growth reduced by 35%, p27 KIP1 over expression caused cell growth arrest at G 1 by 35% ( P =0 000). Apoptotic cell index significantly increased ( P =0 000).Conclusionp27 KIP1 may cause cell cycle arrest in G 1 phase and subsequently lead to apoptosis.

BACKGROUND:In the past, the surgical treatment of patients with hemophilia B was difficult, the bleeding was difficult to estimate, and the wound healing was difficult. In the perioperative period, the control of coagulation factor IX activity in a safe range can ensure the safety of the operation, resulting in wel wound healing, good recovery, and no significant complications appeared in the long term. OBJECTIVE:To study essentials of perioperative diagnosis and treatment in omarthritis patients with hemophilia B undergoing humeral head replacement, and to analyze the importance on prognosis and rehabilitation. METHODS:The significance of surgical treatment for hemophilia B patients with arthritis, the prevention and treatment of perioperative complications were summarized through literature review. Humeral head replacement was conducted in a patient with hemophilia omarthritis by monitoring coagulation factor activity and infusing human prothrombin complex and frozen plasma. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) According to the monitoring, patients, whose coagulation factor IX activity increased from 7%to 50%, underwent humeral head replacement. (2) Within three days after replacement, coagulation factor IX activity was control ed>30%, 3 days-2 weeks>20%. No obvious complication was found after surgery. (3) These results suggested that hemophilia B arthritis was commonly treated by surgical treatment, which plays an important role in assessing patient’s condition and treatment. During perioperative period, replacement therapy of human prothrombin complex and control of coagulation factor activity in a appropriate range can effectively prevent postoperative complications.

Objective To detect the generation of multidrug -resistant organisms(MDROs)in our burn unit and analyze the antibiotic susceptibility.Methods The specimens were inoculated into different disks to isolate and cultivate bacteria.The antibiotic susceptibility of pathogens isolated was detected and judged by CLSI(clinical and laboratory standards institute)2012.The productive rate of MDROs were detected.Results The detection rate of MRSA and ESBLs were the most,87 (38.3%)and 73 (32.2%)respectively.MRSA was absolutely resistant to penicillin,the drug resistant rates to gentamicin,ciprofloxacin,levofloxacin,tetracycline,and rifampicin were above 70.0%,to erythromycin and clindamycin 52.9%,to moxifloxacin and SMZ -TMP 16.1% and 18.4% respectively, and absolutely sensitive to vancomycin,linezolid and tigecycline.The drug resistant rates of ESBLs to ceftriaxone, aztreonam and gentamicin were above 60.0%,to amoxicillin/clavulanic acid,ceftazidime and tobramycin were about 40.0%,to piperacillin -tazobactam,ertapenem,amikacin and cefoperazone /shubatan were below 20.0%,and absolutely sensitive to imipenem and meropenem.The drug resistant rates of CRE to the familiar antibiotics were above 45.0% except amikacin (18.2%),CR -AB to the common antibiotics were above 80.5% except levofloxacin (25.0%),and MDR/PDR -PA to the familiar antibiotics were above 50.0%.Conclusion The detection and drug resisrance rate of multidrug -resistant organisms in our burn unit was high.The clinic should pay more attention to use antibiotics reasonablely and may combine drugs to treat MDROs.It is necessary to use the antibiotic reasonably within different people to postpone the generation of MDROs.

The results showed that the expression of p27 KIP1 at protein or mRNA level increased evidently in SGC7901 cells transfected with p27 KIP1 . The cell growth was reduced by 42% 48h post induction with zinc as determined by cell viability assay. The rate of anchorage independent growth in soft agar decreased significantly. p27 KIP1 over expression caused cell arrest at G 1 by 36%(from 33 68% to 69 29%, P
