Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases 1987;0(02):-
Objective To observe the characteristics of biology and pathogenicity of the third stage Anisakis simplex larvae ( L3). Methods The survival time of the L3 in various conditions was observed and the pathological change after experimental infection in rats was examined. Results The results showed that the L3 frozen at -20℃ for 10 - 12 h can be killed. In the temperature range of 4 - 10 ℃ , the L3 can survive for over 8 months. The L3 was very active at 37℃ , and was killed at the high temperature over 40℃ in a very short time. The ingredients for sashimi cannot kill the L3. The experiment of rats infected by the L, showed that about 15% -25% of the L3 penetrated into the gastrointestinal wall or migrated into the peritoneal cavity in 2 days. After 3d the L4 was not infectious, and died automatically in 7 - 10 days and could not develop into adults. The animals can be easily infected when the stomach was empty. The pathological study showed that the primary infection was a kind of reaction to foreign body, while that of the re - infection was allergic. Conclusion The L3 has a strong resistance to low temperature and to ingredients , it can be killed by freezing at -20℃ in 24 hours. The L3 can not mature in the body of terrestrial mammals but causes pathological change in the stomach and allergy.[
2.Immunization and glaucoma
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2014;32(5):466-470
Glaucoma, the major cause of global irreversible blindness,is a chronic neurodegenerative disease of the optic nerve.Apoptosis of retinal ganglion cells (RGCs) and progressive loss of optic nerve axons results in structural and functional deficits in glaucoma patients.Growing evidence obtained from clinical and experimental studies over the last decade strongly suggests the involvement of the immune system in the neurodegenerative process of glaucoma. This review aims to provide a perspective on the complex interplay of cellular events during glaucomatous neurodegeneration that involves aberrances or dysfunctions of immune system, such as ocular immune privilege, glial activation response,T cell-mediated immune responses,autoantibody-mediated immune responses, complement fixation reaction and aging, oxidative stress. The complex interplay of cellular events amplify the primary injury process and contribute to disease progression by oxidative stress and immune response, ultimately lead to cell death with loss of RGCs.

Objective To assess the effect and safety of mono and combination of intravenous flurbiprofen axetil (FP) and epidural tramadol on postoperative pain after cesarean section. Methods Eighty parturients undergoing selected cesarean section with combined epidural spinal anesthesia were randomly allocated into 4 groups (n=20 in each): Group FT treated with intravenous FP 50 mg immediately after the umbilical cord was clamped (T1) and epidural tramadol at the time of suturing peritonaeum (T2);Group FF treated with intravenous FP 50 mg at T1 and T2;Group T treated with epidural tramadol 100 mg at T2, and Group F treated with FP 50 mg at T2. Postoperative pain was assessed by parturients using visual analog scales (VAS) at 2, 4, 8, 12, 24 h after surgery. The cases that patients required rescued analgesia were recorded as well as the times of analgesics administration. The events of nausea and vomiting within 24 hours as well as the time of first breast-feeding were observed. Results All groups were similar in VAS at 2 hours after surgery, but were statistically significant different at 4, 8, 12 and 24 hours. Group FF showed significant lower VAS than the other 3 groups. However, no significant difference of VAS was observed among the other 3 groups. Rescued analgesia was administered once after surgery to 7 cases in Group F, 4 in Group T, and 2 in Group FT. No patient in Group FF required rescued analgesia. There was significant difference in the rate of rescued analgesia post surgery among the 4 groups (P=0.0149). No significance in the incidence of nausea and vomiting was observed in 4 groups. There was no significant difference in the time of first breast-feeding after surgery in the 4 groups (F=0.54,P=0.657). Conclusions Intravenous flurbiprofen axetil administration immediately after the umbilical cord is clamped and at the time of closing peritonaeum in cesarean section could relieve postoperative pain and reduce postoperative rescue analgesic requirement without increasing the incidence of nausea and vomiting.

Objective To investigate the infection of 23 kinds of human papillomavirus ( HPV) subtypes in female cervical epithelium samples and to analyze their relationships with age and results of cyto-logic test in Haikou area. Methods A total of 4 037 local healthy women were enrolled in this study from July 2013 to August 2016, 1 967 of whom received cervical cytology test. Cervical cell samples collected from those women were detected for HPV typing by using PCR-reverse dot blot hybridization. Results (1) The total positive rate of HPV in 4 037 samples was 22. 15% (894 cases), and the detection rates of carci-nogenic, possibly carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic HPV were 16. 13%, 3. 99% and 5. 55% (651, 161 and 224 cases), respectively. The positive rates of 6 genotypes were high, which were HPV52, 53, 81, 51, 16 and 58 in turn. (2) The detection rates of carcinogenic, possibly carcinogenic HPV and some of the gen-otypes (HPV18, 52, 53, 66) increased with age (all P<0. 05). (3) Multiple infection in HPV-positive women accounted for 24. 38% (218/894), in which the infection rates of carcinogenic types declined with age and the numbers of HPV genotypes in carcinogenic infections were negatively correlated with age ( both P<0. 05). (4) Only 2. 49% (49/1 967) of the samples were positive for cervical cytologic test, classified into the ≥ASC-US ( atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance ) group. The detection rates of eight kinds of carcinogenic and two kinds of possibly carcinogenic HPV in≥ASC-US group were significantly higher than those in the negative (no intraepithelial lesion or malignant lesion, NILM) group (all P<0. 05). Conclusion This study indicates that Haikou women have higher rates of HPV infection, especially the eld-erly group. HPV subtype infections present some regional characteristics and are mainly single type infec-tion. Cervical cancer screening should be combined with tests for HPV and cytology analysis to improve its effectiveness.
