1.Methionine Dependency and the Therapy of Tumor
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 1997;0(04):-
Many malignant tumor have methionine dependency. Methionine restriction can inhibit proliferation of tumors cells by decreasing the level of methionine with depriving methionine, methioninase, homocysteine, and its analogs.Methionine restriction may act synergistically with chemotherapies to increase their efficiency and /or reduce their toxic side effects. Therefore, methionine restriction would become a new cancer treatment.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(02):-
Differences in their pharmacognostic features, microscopic appearance of their powders and UV spectrums, can be used to differentiate Artemisia rupestris from its confusable Achillea millefolium. It is of value to identify them in actual practice.
3.Key advances in the clinical studies of ANCA-associated vasculitis
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2016;29(3):323-326
Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies( ANCA)-associated vasculitis ( AAV) has various clinical symptoms, thus various treatment schemes were used in clinics. To date, there has been no validated diagnostic criteria or treatment guideline for AAV.There are three aspects to be considered when assessing the treatment with AAV patients:staging of disease, distinction between disease activity and chronic damages, and quality of life ( QOL) .This review focuses on the latest classification of vasculitis, the rela-tion between disease stages and its severity, the importance of distinguishing active diseases from permanent damages, the therapeutic choices and the management of complications.

Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 1997;0(01):-
n 3 fatty acids belong to essential fatty acids. It includes linolenic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid ( EPA ) and docosahexaenoic acid ( DHA ). Many researches proved that n 3 fatty acids can suppress many kinds of tumor cells, and defense the occurrence of tumor. This article reviewed the effects and mechanism of n 3 fatty acids in defension and suppression of tumor.

AIM To study the relation between the antiarrthymic effect and the inhibition of slow reaction cardiomyocyte of ethacizine(EC). METHODS The beating rate and action potentials of cultured slow response cardiomyocyte from neonatal rats was recorded. RESULTS EC 0 1~5 0 ?mol?L -1 produced a concentration dependent suppressing effect on spontaneous beating rate of cultured cardiac cells with IC 50 of 0 17 ?mol?L -1 and the maximal inhibitory rate was 52%.The steady state of inhibition to beating rate was achieved after adding EC for 15~30 min. The effective inhibition of beating rate by EC lasted for over 1 h.As EC 2 5 ?mol?L -1 depressed beating rate to the steady state ,effects of CaCl 2 2 mmol?L -1 and Iso 1 ?mol?L -1 on beating rate were partially reduced, and the effect of aconitine 0 2 mg?L -1 was abolished. EC 0 3~2 5 ?mol?L -1 pruduced the concentration dependent depression on APA,V max ,OS,SP 4 and MDP,and prolongation of SCL of the slow response action potentials.APD 90 was also lengthened at the concentration of EC 0 9~2 5 ?mol?L -1 . CONCLUSIONS The effective depression of EC on abnormal automaticity and conductance of the slow response cardiomyocyte in heart ischemic zone may be an important mechanism for its effective termination on some arrhythimas.EC may depress Ca 2+ ,especially Na + currents on slow response cardiomyocyte.

Translational medicine is a totally new concept which could basically eliminate the barrier between basic medicine and clinical medicine and shorten the process of‘bench to bedside’Throughout the history of the diagnosis and treatment of acute pancreatitis,we found that changes of treatment concept at each historical stage were the results of‘translational medicine’under the technical and cognitive condition at that time. This paper elaborated on the important role of translational medicine based on the diagnosing and treating development of acute pancreatitis as well as discussed the medical teaching and research under the mode of translational medicine.

International Journal of Surgery 2010;37(3):199-202
Since its discovery, the retinoblastoma (RB) tumor-suppressor protein has become a focal point of caner and cell cycle research, and subsequently discovered members(pRB,p107,p103) of the RBfamily have been proved to play a important role in the cell cycle and the development of cancer. RB regulates the cell growth, development and differentiation via the interactions with E2f and some other cytokines, and its alternation even make the tumor formation. In comparison with some other tumors, colorectal cancer(CRC) has the different expression of RB.We may assume that the different causes of CRC and some unique functions of RB in CRC lead to the alternation.

Chinese Journal of Digestion 2001;0(04):-
Objective To observe the influence of early postoperative enteral feeding on gastrointestinal motility after subtotal gastrectomy. Methods From December 1999 to February 2001,18 patients with advanced gastric cancer who had underwent gastrectomy were randomly allocated into enteral nutrition(EN) group ( n =9) and control group( n =9). The migrating motor complex (MMC) was recorded by Synectics MicroDigitrapper antroduodenal manometry and data was analyzed by Polygram software. Results MMC disappeared after subtotal gastrectomy in all patients, the first MMC recurred from 34 mins to 4 hours after the operation, while there was no significant difference between two groups. However,MMC in EN group was different from those in normal group which was lack of phase -Ⅱ at the early postoperative stage, the variation of MMC trended to become normal during 72 hours of consecutive observation. Compared with control group, the duration of MMC-phase-Ⅲ,area under the curve, transmit speed and motility index were different in EN group. Conclusion Early postoperative enteral feeding can help re-build the normal gastrointestinal motility .Further studies about patients' selections and nutrition preparations are needed.

Objective To study the effects of extract from Narcissus tazetta var. chinensis on proliferation and apoptosis of human multiple myeloma cell line ARH-77. Methods The survival rate of cells were tested by MTT assay when cells were affected by 1.25, 2.5, 5, 10, 20 ?g/mL of the extract for 3 d. After being induced by 10 ?g/mL of the extract for 3 d, apoptotic cells were observed with fluorescence stain; changes of he csll cycle were analyzed by Flow Cytometry; the number and shape of nucleolar organizer region (NOR) were tested by AgNOR assay and submicroscopic structure were observed by transmission electron microscope. Results The extract from N. tazetta var. chinensis could significantly inhibit the proliferation and reduce the survival rate of ARH-77 cells (P

Chinese Journal of Nephrology 1994;0(04):-
Cytokines may play an important role in the development of IgA Nephropathy(IgAN). In this study, the levels of Interleukin—6(IL—6)activity in the urine and serum from 21 patients with IgAN were measured by using IL—6 dependent cell line, 7TD. IL—6 activities were detectable in both urine and serum in patients with IgAN(IL—6 detectable rate 47.6% and 25% respectively), while it was undetectable in normal volunteers. There was no correlationship between urinary and serum IL—6 activities. Also, we found that patients with elevated urinary IL—6 activity had heavy proteinuria and severe glomerular and tubular—interstitial histological changes. The results suggest that the measurement of IL—6 is useful in evaluating the degree of glomerular and interstitial damage in patients with IgAN.
