3.Role of endoplasmic reticulum stress in arsenic toxicity induced damage: a recent advance
Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2017;36(1):66-69
Arsenic exposure can cause health problems to our body but arsenic can also be used to treat some diseases through induction of cell apoptosis. These effects are due to arsenic toxicity, but the mechanism is still unclear.Recent studies have showed that cell apoptosis induced by endoplasmic reticulum stress is associated with the mechanism. Therefore,in this paper, the role of endoplasmic reticulum stress in arsenic toxicity has been reviewed and some problems in current studies are pointed out,so as to provide clues and basis for further scientific research.

6.Spiral CT three-dimensional reconstruction in the differential diagnosis value of lung lesions
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2015;(19):2925-2927
Objective To evaluate the value of spiral CT in diagnosis and treatment of lung lesions in clini-cal work. Methods A retrospective analysis of 100 patients with pathological diagnosis of lung lesions patients were randomly divided into the control group (CT normal scan)and observation group (CT -D post -processing tech-niques).Lungs lesions, hilar and mediastinal lymph node metastasis sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of lymph node metastasis of both group were analyzed. Results In the control group, the diagnosis of lung lesions showed sensitivity of 75%,specificity of 50% and accuracy of 72%;while in the observation group the sensitivity was 80%,specificity was 65 % and accuracy rate was 85%.The differences between the two groups were statistically signficant(χ2 =3.854,4.604,5.007,all P <0.05).50 cases of pathologically verified as lung cancer patients with hilar lymph node metastasis in the control group showed diagnostic sensitivity of 60%,specificity of 72%,accuracy of 70%;while diag-nosed hilar lymph node metastasis in the observation group showed sensitivity of 76%,specificity of 84 percent and accuracy rate of 84%.The differences between the two groups were statistically signficant(χ2 =5.882,4.196,5.534, all P <0.05).50 cases of pathologically verified as lung cancer patients with mediastinal lymph node metastasis in the control group, showed diagnostic sensitivity of 62%,specificity of 57% and accuracy of 60%;in observation group the sensitivity was 72%,specificity was73% and accuracy was 72%.The differences between the two groups were statisti-cally signficant(χ2 =4.342,5.626,4.583,all P <0.05).Conclusion The spiral CT for diagnosis of lung lesions positioning has good effect, and can be widely used in the diagnosis of lung lesions.
7.Half quantitative diagnosis of high-risk gastrointestinal stromal tumors with multi-slice spiral CT
Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging Technology 2010;26(3):517-520
Objective To study the half quantitative diagnostic method of the high-risk gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) with analyzing the characteristic of high-risk and lower risk GISTs with multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT). Methods CT findings of 46 patients with 51 GIST lesions were retrospectively analyzed. The location, size, shape, boundary, growth pattern and other specialties of the tumors in high-risk and lower risk GISTs were studied, moreover statistical analysis was conducted, logistic regression equation was obtained. Results Significant difference was found in tumors' location, size, shape, boundary and distant metastasis between the two types of GISTs. There were obvious correlation between the risk level and tumors' size and boundary which could be used to build the diagnostic equation of high-risk GISTs. Conclusion The equation ln [P/(1-P)]=-2.612X_3+0.371X_5 (X_3:tumors' boundary, X_5:tumors' size) is valuable in the diagnosis of high-risk GISTs.
8.Neonatal respiratory virus infection
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2021;28(2):81-85
Infection is one of the most serious diseases during the neonatal period and the leading cause of neonatal death.Early virus detection is particularly important in the vulnerable infants hospitalized in modern, family centered NICUs.These units bear increasing risks of virus transmission as they provide kangaroo care, 24 hour visiting policies, and are not only open to parents and siblings, but do also encourage their involvement.Due to the atypical clinical features, susceptibility to mixed viral-bacterial infection, lower positive rate of detection, non-specific treatment options, and causing short-term as well as long-term complications or even death if the infection is severe. Thus, it is very important to recognize respiratory virus infection early to prevent and control its spread in neonatal wards. This article aimed to elaborate the susceptibility factors, common pathogens, detection methods and the management of prevention, and control of neonatal respiratory virus infection.

Military Medical Sciences 2015;(10):802-804,807
Recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA) is a novel isothermal DNA amplification technology first re-ported in 2006 by Piepenburg et al.This technology has been shown to typically work at temperatures ranging from 25 to 43℃and can detect products within 5-20 min.RPA technology requires little instrumentation for the nucleic acid amplifi-cation reaction and can be performed not only in PCR tubes , but also in simple devices′such as paper .Combined with probe-based detection methods or lateral flow dipstick assay , it can perform quantitative or visual detection respectively . RPA is a technology that is potentially ideal for point-of-care diagnosis and disease prevention and control ,characterized by high sensitivity, high efficiency, high specificity and user-friendliness.This paper introduces the advantages and develop-ment of RPA technology in reaction conditions and product detection ,summarizes the current applications of this technolo-gy,and predicts the trend of application of RPA technology in point-of-care diagnosis and disease prevention and control .
