Journal of Clinical Neurology 2001;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the changes of brain angiography in patients with virus encephalitis. Methods Examining 5 patients with herpes simplex virus encephalitis and 2 patients with Epstein-Barr(EB)virus encephalitis by digital subtractiona angiography(DSA)system and compares the results with control group(including 10 headache patients). Results The results of DSA of virus encephalitis patients were all abnormal, the outcome was accelerating blood circle like irritation. The average of the whole time of brain artery and vein circle was 6.71 seconds, while the results of DSA examination of the control group were all normal, the whole time of brain circle was 10.25 seconds. There was significant difference between the two groups(P

Chinese Journal of Diabetes 2000;0(05):-
To investigate the insulin resistance and insulin secretion of the first degree relatives of T2DM with normal glucose tolerance(NGT). The levels of FIns and HOMA-IR in the groups of the parental (n=35) and the maternal (n=58) were higher than that in the group of the paternal (n=42), bwt the IAI and △I_ 30 /△G_ 30 were lower than that in the group of paternal. This suggests the first-degree relatives of type 2 diabetes have insulin resistance and impaired first phase insulin secretion in NGT.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 1986;0(04):-
The relation of metabolic syndrome and its components with body mass index (BMI) was investigated in Zhanshan community, Qingdao. The results showed that the prevalence and relative risk of metabolic syndrome and its components were increased with BMI. Nearly one-third of individuals with overweight or obesity had metabolic syndrome.

Objective Through investigation and training in the knowledge and skills of pre hospital emergency treatment in Xuzhou highway traffic policemen,we explored a more targeted and more effective first-aid skills training program. Methods Based on our hospital emergency center 91 highway traffic policemen were randomly assigned to 3 first aid skills training groups, group 1 received theoretical training and operational training, group 2 was given the same theoretical training and operational training after DVD player, group 3 took the same method as that of group 2,besides,situational training was given to group 3.The emergency treatment technique was evaluated post training. Results After the training, the scores of 3 groups were different from each other, group 3 had the best results compared with group 1 and group 2.Conclusions The highway traffic policemen had poor emergency treatment knowledge. They should be trained with first aid knowledge and skills as well as cardiopulmonary resuscitation training.

Objective To explore the effect of erlotinib in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC)in stage ⅢA before operation and the relation with the rate of resection, good operability and postoperative complications. Methods 31 patients with NSCLC in stage ⅢA in group A were treated with erlotinib before operation;34 patients with NSCLC in stage ⅢA in group B only were treated with operation. Results The condition of 64.5%patients were improved. The operability in group A was more than that in group B(P=0.008),the good operability in group A was more than that in group B(P=0.011),the postoperative complications do not have statistical significance (P=0.07).Conclusion The erlotinib can increase the rate of resection in patients with NSCLC in stage ⅢA,and increase good operability in patients with NSCLC in stage ⅢA,but not increase the postoperative complications.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Yinzhihuang oral liquid in the adjuvant treatment of neo-natal breast-feeding faundice. METHODS:112 newborns with faundice were randomly divided into control group and observation group. Control group stopped breast-feeding for 3 d and given artificial feeding,as well as keeping warm, nutritional support, maintaining water and electrolyte and acid-base balance, blue light irradiation and severe patients were given liver protection,en-zyme inducers;observation group was additionally given Yinzhihuang oral liquid 10 ml,twice a day. The treatment course was 7 d. Clinical efficacy, and serum total bilirubin(TBIL)level before and after treatment, and incidence of adverse reactions in 2 groups were observed. RESULTS:The total effective rate in observation group was significantly higher than control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). After treatment,TBIL level in 2 groups was significantly lower than before and gradually de-creased with time, and observation group was lower than control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions of 2 groups was no statistically significant(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Based on the conventional treatment,Yinzhihuang oral liquid can be used in the adjuvant treatment of neonatal breast-feeding faundice, with good efficacy and good safety.

The promyelocytic leukemia (PML) protein is an important part of the PML nuclear bodies (PML-NBs) structure.PML protein is crucial for the assembly of PML-NBs and recruits more than 30 different proteins, including DAXX, ATRX, and small ubiquitin-like molecules involving SUMO to the PML-NBs region.Increased evidence has emerged that a number of different proteins is involved in regulating PML activities by post-translational modifications, such as SUMO modification, ubiquitination and phosphorylation. Here, we review recent studies on the combination of PML and different proteins in the process of apoptosis, replicative senescence and DNA damage response.

Objective To study the value of zoledronic acid combined with psychological intervention in osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures in percutaneous balloon kyphoplasty (PKP). Methods 72 patients with osteoporotic vertebral fractures underwent PKP operation from August 2013 to August 2015 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 36 cases,in each group. The patients in the control group were given salmon calcitonin after operation. The patients in the observation group were given zoledronic acid after operation. Both patients were given psychological care. The total effective rate of clinical treatment and the incidence of secondary osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures,Visual analogue pain scale before and after treatment (VAS), Oswestry dysfunction index questionnaire (ODI) score, bone mineral density T value changes were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate was 94.44% in the observation group and 77.78% in the control group (P<0.05). The recurrence fracture rate was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of VAS and ODI in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The T value of bone mineral density was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Zoledronic acid combined with psychological intervention can effectively improve the effective rate of PKP after osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures, increase bone density and reduce the incidence of fracture, which is worthy of clinical application.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(04):-
We analyzed the final test papers for Histology and Embryology among the seven-year program students from 2000 to 2004 in our university to evaluate the quality of the test paper and teaching effects so as to find the weaknesses and problems in teaching. The results showed that the test papers were reliable because of comprehensive test items, moderate difficulty and reasonable score distribution, and the score could image the level of students in truth. But the gap between good scores and bad scores is rather obvious,Teachers must help the students who have difficulties in learning Histology and Embryology and shorten the gap in the future.
