Objective To analyze the imaging characteristics of pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma(PSH) and to improve the accurate rate of its diagnosis before surgery. Methods Imaging findings in 11 cases pathologically proved sclerosing hemangiomas were retrospectively analyzed in comparison with pathology. Results The imaging findings of PSH mostly were solitary masses with homogeneous density, and with smooth margin in 10 cases and irregular margin in 1 case;1 case with slight calcification and 1 case with air-meniscus sign were found.7 cases were homogeneous enhancement and 4 were heterogeneous enhancement on contrast-enhanced scan. The high and low attenuation areas on CT corresponded with angiomatous and cystic areas respecitvely on pathology. Conclusion Chest roentgenogram and unenhanced CT scan of PSH are not of remarkable characteristics,contrast-enhanced CT scan plays an important role in diagnosis and differential diagnosis of PSH.

Objective To investigate the efficacy of nutritional support for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected and malnutritional patients during perioperative period. Methods The clinical data of 283 HIV-infected patients who were admitted to the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center from October 2008 to February 2012 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were divided into malnutritional group and non-malnutritional group according to nutritional condition before operation.Twenty-eight patients with malnutrition (7 patients did not receive perioperative nutritional support due to emergency operation, and they were excluded from the study) and 248 patients in normal nutritional status were enrolled in the study.Nutritional support was given for 5-7 days before operation for patients with malnutrition, and all patients received nutritional support after operation.Differences in the immune function, nutrional status, the incidences of surgical incisional infection and sepsis, and perioperative mortality between the 2 groups were compared.Measurement data were analyzed using the paired t test, and the enumeration data were analyzed using the chi-square test. Results The levels of CD4,CD8 and hemoglobin in patients with malnutrition were (205 ± 24)× 106/L,(559 ± 55)× 106/L and (103 ± 24)g/L after perioperative nutritional support, which were significantly higher than (150 ± 33) × 106/L,(491 ± 45) × 106/L and (97 ± 19)g/L before nutritional support (t =-2.561,-1.302,-1.349,P < 0.05).The levels of CD4,CD8 and hemoglobin were (197 ± 43) × 106/L,(547 ± 52) × 106/L and (103 ± 22) g/L at postoperative day 14,which were decreased compared with those after nutritional support, while no significant difference was detected (t =-1.108,0.600,-0.148,P > 0.05).The incidence of incisional infection in patients with malnutrition was 42.9% (12/28),which was lower than 45.2% (112/248) of patients in normal nutritional status, with no significant difference (P >0.05).The incidence of postoperative sepsis and perioperative mortality were 75.0% (21/28)and 3.6% (1/28) in patients with malnutrition after operation, which were significantly higher than 32.7% (81/248)and 0.8% (2/248) in patients in normal nutritional status (P < 0.05).Conclusion The mobidity of HIV-infected patients is high, and nutritional support for HIV-infected patients during perioperative period can improve their immunity.

With a PII-300 computer, an intelligentized microcomputer system for HBV marker detection and reporting is developed in this paper, which is based on Windows operating system and accomplished through Visual Basic6.0. More than 10, 000 cases have proved that the result from the system accords with the one from artificial detection completely. This system solves the problems in hospital laboratory such as high labor intensity, low working efficiency and high error rate, and thus a quantitative detection method for HBV marker comes into existence.

Objective To explore the effect of SZ-685C on rat pituitary adenoma GH3 cell line. Methods MTT method evaluated its effect of proliferation and inhibitory concentration 50 (IC5o) on GH3 cells, after treated by 0,2.5,5.0,7.5,10.0,12.5,15.0,17.5,20.0 and 30.0 μmol/L SZ-685C for 48 h,GH3 cells were changed to complete medium for 12 d,crystal violet staining was used to investigate colony formation; microscopy and Hoechst 33342 staining assay observed whether the changes of morphological as the result of apoptosis, then detected cell apoptosis by flow cytometry. Results SZ-685C had a dose-dependent inhibitory effect on GH3 cell proliferation and IC50 was (12.9 ± 0.47) μmol/L,MEF(considered as a control group) had little affect in cell proliferation on the concentration of IC50.Inhibitory effects persisted even on removal of SZ- 685C after 12 d,and SZ-685C blocked colony formation ability of pituitary tumor cells.Apoptotic morphological observation of microscope and Hoechst 33342 staining proved apoptosis during treatment of SZ-685C,flow cytometry detection showed that SZ-685C induces 36.4% of apoptosis, while only 2.0% in control group. Conclusion SZ-685C inhibits pituitary tumor cell proliferation and induces apoptosis.SZ-685C can be a new anti-patuitary tumor drug for a further study.

Objective To study on wavelet transform in calcium sparks image de-noising when excitation contraction cou-pling(ECC) was studied and researched by scanning confocal microscopy,in order to elucidate the mechanism of ECC.But due to the noise exist in most calcium sparks image,it is hardly to recognize and analyze the useful information of calcium sparks. So how to increase the signal-to-noise rate is very important in calcium spark studying. Methods By using the self-developed software based on multi-scale wavelet transform to remove the noise exists in the calcium sparks images. Results The experiments shows that the method can be increased the signal-to-noise rate in about 80 calcium sparks images.Con-clusion The new method for calcium spark expression and spatial and temporal analysis is provided.

Objective· To investigate whether vitamin E could reverse the disruptive effects of bisphenol A (BPA) on steroidogenesis and to explore the optimal vitamin E concentration. Methods· Rat primary granulosa cells were extracted and exposed to BPA (0,0.01,0.1,1,10,100 μmol/L).After 48 h of incubation, culture medium was collected and estradiol (E2) and progesterone (P4) were measured using ELISA kits. Then, granulosa cells were incubated with 5 μmol/L(average concentration in follicular fluid) or 25 μmol/L (high concentration in follicular fluid) vitamin E (α-tocopherol) or vitamin E (5 μmol/Lor 25 μmol/L) plus BPA (10 μmol/L or 100 μmol/L) for 48h,E2 and P4 were measured. Results· BPA at 10 μmol/L and 100 μmol/L suppressed E2 and P4 production in a dose-dependent manner (P<0.05).Vitamin E at 25 μmol/L significantly increased E2 and P4 levels by (44.89±15.18) % and (43.33±8.82) %(P<0.05),respectively.Coincubation of the granulosa cells with BPA and vitamin E (5 μmol/L or 25 μmol/L) restored the productions of E2 and P4,which were not significantly different from the control group (P>0.05).Conclusion· Vitamin E (5 μmol/L/25 μmol/L) could reverse BPA-induced reduction in steroid hormone production in rat ovary granulosa cells, and the antagonistic effect of 25 μmol/L vitamin E was more obvious than that of 5 μmol/L vitamin E.
