2.Study on SP,VIP expression in the 'cathartic colon' rats
Journal of Chinese Physician 2011;02(z2):5-7
ObjectiveObserving the distribution and the change of the quantity of SP,VIP in the colon tissue of 'cathartic colon'rats.MethodsWe divided the 32 wistar rats weighted (200 ±10)g into 2 groops randomly:the blank group( n =8) and model group( n =8).we induced the 'cathartic colon'rats with the suspension of dahuang. The blank group were given the distilled water for contrast. After one week during the time Dahuang was stopped. We killed them, measured the carbon powder propulsion rates in the intestine and then took Specimen after the 8 rats were fasted 24 hours as well as the blank group, but water were given. We compared the variation of SP,VIP distribution between two groups.ResultsThe carbon powder propulsion rates in the model group were slower than that in the saline control group. The distribution of SP,VIP are all more than that in the blank group.ConclusionThe distribution of SP,VIP are all more than that in the blank group.
3.Progress of vitamin D and bronchial asthma
International Journal of Pediatrics 2011;38(4):364-367
As an immune regulator, vitamin D plays a role in asthma. In the fetus, vitamin D participates in immune system and lung development. It has been reported that vitamin D deficiency may explain a portion of the asthma epidemic. Beneficial associations have been reported between vitamin D and asthma severity in children. Epidemiologic studies have also suggested that higher prenatal vitamin D intakes have a protective role against wheezing illnesses in young children. In addition, vitamin D may play a therapeutic role in steroid resistant asthmatics and there is interest in using vitamin D therapeutic-ally to complement conventional asthma therapy, such as specific immunotherapy.
4.The effect of high-dose mifepristone on the expression of HIF-1α and VEGF in the endometrial tissue
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2011;18(21):2907-2908
ObjectiveTo study the effect of high-dose mifepristone on the expression of hypoxia-inducible factor 1,(HIF-1α) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in the endometrial tissue and research the molecular mechanisms of mifepristone in treat ment of endometrial cancer.Methods30 patients with endometrial cancer who were treated were asked to oral mifepristone 100mg/d,the specimens from a biopsy or curettage were taken as the group before treatment, the specimens from surgery were as the group of after treatment.Another 10 cases of normal endometrium were selected as the control group. The expression of HIF-1α and VEGF were examined with immunohistochemistry.ResultsThe expression of HIF-1 α and VEGF(78.6 ± 3.5,92.4 ± 5.1 ) in endometrial cancer was significantly higher than normal endometrium( 192.3 ± 4.7,178.4 ± 3.3,P < 0.01 ),large doses of mifepristone can significantly reduce the expression of HIF-1 α and VEGF in endometrial cancer issues ( 103.2 ± 4.1,118.3 ± 4.9,P <0.05).ConclusionOne of the molecular mechanisms of mifepristone inhibits the endometrial cancer was reduced HIF-1α and VEGF expression.
5.Efficacy of rosiglitazone combined with ethinylestradiol cyproterone on treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2014;37(18):29-31
Objective To observe the effect of rosiglitazone combined with ethinylestradiol cyproterone on treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).Methods Sixty-eight cases with PCOS combined with insulin resistance (experimental group) and 68 cases with PCOS combined without insulin resistance (control group) were selected. The patients in experimental group were given rosiglihtazone combined with ethinylestradiol cyproterone, the patients in control group were not given rosiglitazone. The level of seurm adiponectin and lepfin was measured before and after treatment in two groups, body mass index (BMI),Homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) was calculated before and after treatment in two groups, and drug adverse reaction was observed. Results There was no significant difference in serum adiponeetin, leptin,BMI before treatment between two groups (P > 0.05).HOMA-IR in experimental group was higher than that in control group (3.90 ± 0.87 vs.2.15 ± 0.62),and there was significant difference (P < 0.05).BMI,leptin after treatment in experimental group and control group was decreased compared with that before treatment [experimental group:(25.41 ± 1.01) kg/m2 vs.(30.11 ± 1.51) kg/m2,(0.25 ± 0.08) μ g/L vs.(0.44 ± 0.11) p g/L; control group:(26.68 ± 1.12) kg/m2 vs.(30.55 ± 1.42) kg/m2,(0.23 ± 0.1 0) μ g/L vs.(0.39 ± 0.23) μ g/L],adponectin was increased compared with that before treatment [experimental group:(1.39 ± 1.10) μ g/L vs.(0.89 ± 0.15) μ g/L;control group:(1.42 ± 1.05) μ g/L vs.(0.91 ± 0.44) μ g/L],and HOMA-IR after treatment (2.09 ± 0.68) in experimental group was lower than that before treatment, and there was significant difference (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference between two groups (P >0.05).Experimental group did not appear obvious drug adverse reaction in the process of treatment. Conclusion Ethinylestradiol cyproterone can improve metabolic disorders indicators,PCOS combined with insulin resistance should add rosiglitazone to improve insulin resistance.
6.Progress of Survivin gene in cancer
Cancer Research and Clinic 2013;25(9):640-642
Survivin is an apoptosis inhibitor and plays an important role in the development and progression of cancer. It is undetectable in normal adult tissues, but has been showed to be overexpressed in various cancers and has been regarded as a marker of malignancy. And the promoter polymorphism of Survivin gene is closely related to risk of cancer and gene susceptibility, this might provide clues for further elucidation of the correlation of risk of cancer and genetic polymorphism, and for diagnosis, prevention and screening of cancer gene.
7.Mechanism and regulation of alveolar fluid transport in neonates
International Journal of Pediatrics 2012;39(5):472-476
Alveolar fluid transport is closely associated with neonatal lung development neonatal respiratory diseases, such as wet lung, pulmonary hyaline membrane disease, pneumonia, which are related with decreased lung fluid transport. This review introduces the characteristics of neonatal pulmonary fluid balance, including lung fluid secretion and absorption equilibrium, list clinical factors which can increase pulmonary fluid, explain important lung fluid transport mechanisms and their regulations.Inhaling beta agonists or glucocorticoid is a viable therapeutic strategy.
