Objective To investigate the performances in line bisection(LB)and line cancellation(LC)tasks of patients with unilateral neglect.Methods The unilateral neglect patients,performances in LB and LC tasks before and after rehabilitation treatment were retrospectively analyzed.Results Before treatment,statistical analyses revealed the patients,performances in LC and LB tasks did not differ from each other(P =0.902).After treatment,statistical analyses revealed a significant difference between the two tasks(P =0.007).With LB only,29/30(97%)patients with neglect were detected;with LC only,22/30(73%)patients with neglect were detected.Conclusions As the performances of unilateral neglect patients improved,patients revealed difference between the performances in LB and in LC tasks.One test alone would miss some subjects with neglect.Combinative use of the two tests was more sensitive than either of the 2 tests alone.

Twelve community nursing managers were interviewed.The consensus was reached that there should be 4 main themes concerning evaluation indicators of community nursing quality:necessity,content,format and expectation.The interviewed nursing managers expressed their need for a system of community nursing quality evaluation,and those indicators should be comprehensive,concrete and practical.The format of evaluation should facilitate the development of nursing quality and the criteria should meet the requirements of Minister of Health and international standards.

ObjectiveTo observe the postoperational curative effect and complicational occuring status by using soft palate landscape orientation two fusiform cuts and enlarge two amygdales resection to treat(obstructive sleep apnea hyponea syndrome,OSAHS).Methods59 cases with type Ⅰ OSAHS were divided into experimental group(39 cases)using soft palate landscape orientation two fusiform cuts and enlarge two amygdales resection,control group( 20 cases)carrying out UPPP or keeping uvula UPPP.ResultsTow groups postoperational total effective rate 84.75％ (50/59),PSG survey's analysis( x2 =6.348,P ＜0.05 ) with preoperation,postoperation,without obvious discrepancy,the degree of postoperational pharyngeal ache,after follow-up visit 6-12 months,comparing the changes of snore,nasopharynx's backflow or missing deglutition and appearing cavum pharyngis coarctation( U =3.426,P ＜ 0.05 ),having outstanding discrepancy.ConclusionIt was not only to completely keeping uvula by using soft palate landscape orientation two fusiform cuts and enlarge two amygdales resection to treat OSAHS,but to enlarge soft palate shaping confines,not only effectively enlarging the ventilate's sectional area of cavum oropharyngeum,but preferably keeping the normal physiological morphology and function of cavum pharynges,avoiding the happening such as palatepharynx insufficiency complication etc.

The dynamic variation of folate content in the whole blood from ?-irra-diated rats have been observed. The level of folate, which did not alter significantly 24 hours after whole-body exposure of 800 rads, decreased dramatically to about 50 percent at the 5th day and to about 67 percent at the 10th day. After irradiation the haemoglobin concentration in rats also decreased, but there was no coincidence between the dynamic variation of folate level and haemoglobin concentration. It is probable that ionizing radiation induces the folic acid malnutrition of rats.

Objective To explore the application of evidence-based medicine in rehabilitation therapy in clinical teaching. Methods 45 interns were divided into 2 groups. The interns during July, 2011 to April, 2012 as the control group (n=23) received the traditional teaching method and the interns during July, 2012 to April, 2013 as the test group (n=22) accepted the evidence-based medicine teaching method in addition. They were assessed with the test scores of theory and operation, and questionnaires. Results The operation scores and the total scores were higher in the test group than in the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction was better in the test group than in the control group in the items of improving the ability of self-study, taking the initiative, developing clinical thinking, improving the ability of obtaining information, improving the ability of selecting literature, improving the ability of analyzing and summarizing, improving their overall level and degree of satisfaction with this teaching method (P<0.05). Conclusion The evidence-based medicine teaching method can facilitate to improve the practical skills, cultivate the clinical thinking and improve the overall level for students in rehabilitation therapy in clinical practice.

Objective　 To investigated the possible roles of IL-18 in HBV infection, and the expression of IL-18 in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) of chronic hepatitis B. Methods 　In 15 cases of asymptomatic carriers, 30 cases of active and remissive phases of chronic hepatitis and 10 healthy individuals (as normal controls), IL-18 expression in PBMC were quantitatively analyzed with flow cytometric immunological method. The PBMC were separated routinely and stimulated with LPS (SIGMA) and Monensin (SIGMA) for 6 hours. Then the cells were harvested and fixed by PBS/4% paraformaldehyde. The treated cells were stored in liquid nitrogen for detection later. After immunologic stain, the expression of IL-18 in PBMC were examined by flow cytometry. Results　 ① IL-18 was the lowest in asymptomatic carriers. It was fewer in remissive phase than in normal controls (P＜0.01).There was no difference between active phase and normal controls(P=0.25).②Within the group of active phase, IL-18 was significantly different between each grade of inflammatory activity(P＜0.01),and correlated with serum ALT positively(r=0.63,P＜0.01). Conclusion　 IL-18 may relate to disease activity and the inflammation of liver.

Objective To study the capacity of dentifrice containing hydroxyapatite (HA) particles with various grain sizes on the sorption of Cu (Ⅱ) ion from aqueous solution. Methods Three groups of dentifrice suspensions containing 3% HA particles with 60 nm grain size, 3% HA particles with 12 μm grain size, and blank dentifrice were prepared with serial concentrations. Copper ion solutions with initial concentration of 4.0 mg/L were mixed with dentifrice suspensions respectively and then been kept still for 24 hours. The residual copper ion concentration of the supernatant was measured by inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometer and the sorption rate of copper ion was calculated. Results The residual copper ion concentration of the supernatant decreased with increase of the concentration of dentifrice suspensions. The sorption rate of copper ion of dentifrice containing 60 nm HA was highest among the three groups. Conclusion Nano HA should be added into dentifrice to enhance the sorption capacity of copper ion from aqueous solution.

Eight adult dogs distributed equally into control and therapy groups were fed on stock diet for 20 days and then irradiated whole-bodily with 60Co 4.65 Gy. After irradiation the control group was not given any therapeutic measure but fed on the diet as usual, while the therapy group was given with a larger amount of vitamins and high-caloric and high-protein diet, and sometimes force feeding was taken if the latter showed sign of anorexia. Whether higher values of nonprotein nitrogen in serum of two dogs in restored period and diarrhea happened in the therapy group were attribute to The treatments such as high-protein diet and force feeding were still unknown, the curing effects of nutrition and antibiotics were distinct as shown in that the body weight was easily maintained, and that the anemia and leucopenia wereless severe and recovered early. Moreover, within 30 days both the ther apy andcontrol groups one dog died respectively but survival time of the former was longer than the latter.

Objective To investigate the significance of B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) in acute coronary syndrome(ACS).Methods 151 in-patients of ACS during May 2006 to June 2008 were selected as the treatment group.Other 212 impatients with essential hypertension were selected as control group.Blood lipid,blood glucose,blood routine,renal function,high sensitive C-reaction protein (hs-CRP) and BNP were examined in all patients.Their blood pressure,heart rate,and history of smoking,hypertension,diabetes mellitus and hyperlipidemia 62.0±14.2,t = 5.043,P＜0.001 ),blood creatinine [ (95.0±67.4 ) vs.(72.8±29.0) μmol/L,t = 4.164,P ＜0.001 ),blood uric acid[ (360.2±104.4 ) vs.(300.8±92.7 ) μmol/L,t = 5.521,P ＜ 0.001 ],BNP (80.81 vs.352.38 ng/L,Z = - 7.295,P ＜ 0.001 ),hs-CRP (7.99 vs.17.08,Z = - 3.983,P ＜ 0.001 ),white blood cells (WBC) [ (7.843 +3.025)×109/L vs.(6.333±3.569)×109/L,t =4.209,P ＜0.001 ],monocytes [ (0.522±0.201)×109/L vs.(0.417±0.157)×109/L,t = 5.084,P ＜0.001 ] and blood glucose [ (6.518±2.303 ) vs.(5.691±2.085 ) mmol/L,t = 3.461,P = 0.001 ] had significant difference.Systolic blood pressure had difference between two groups [ (134.7±27.8 ) vs.(142.0±26.3 ) mm Hg,t = 2.536,P=0.012 ].However,the percentage of smoking[ 43.7% (66/151)vs.23.1% (49/212),X2 = 17.283,P ＜0.001 ] and male gender[ 74.8% ( 113/151 )vs.48.6% ( 103/212),X2 = 25.217,P ＜ 0.001 ) ] had significant difference between two groups ( P ＜0.001 ).Multivariable regression analysis showed that age (X2 = 10.369,P =0.001 ),gender (X2 = 12.836,P ＜ O.001 ),BNP (X2 =4.807,P =0.028) and WBC(X2= 10.788,P =0.001 ) were the main factors of difference between the two groups.Moreover,BNP was linearly correlated with left ventricular ejection fraction(EF) in ACS patients (t =5.789,P ＜ 0.001 ).Conclusion Old age,male,WBC and BNP are closely related with ACS,of which BNP has certain predictive value for ACS.

Objective :To study a simplified method of isolation of rat hepatocytes and to observe the pro-cess of cell morphology in long-term culture. Methods :Rat hepatocytes were isolated by a single two-stepperfusion method. The yield and viability were assessed by trypan blue exclusion. [3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide] (MTT) was used to test the effect of serum concentration of newborn calf serum on the proliferation of hepatocytes. Hepatocytes were inoculated in the culture mediumconsisted of Williams' E supplemented with insulin,dexamethasone and 10％ new born calf serum. Themorphologic change of cultured hepatocytes was observed. Results:The average yield of hepatocytes was 2.26× 108 cells per rat, with an average viability of 95.6％. New born calf serum had strong biological activi-ty to stimulate the proliferation of hepatocytes and there was close-effect relationship followed by the in-crease of new born calf serum concentration. The rat hepatocytes can be cultured for 5～ 6 weeks withpreservation of normal morphologic appearance. Conclusion:The rat hepatocytes isolated by the abovemethod have high yields and viability and can be long-term cultured in vitro.
