Chinese Journal of Neurology 2001;0(01):-
Objective To construct the immune genes expression profile database of multiple sclerosis (MS) and to screen the high immune related candidate genes by using microarray analysis Methods Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) products on behalf of 484 immune related genes from mixed tissue library were assembled on the modified Oako glass slide The general RNA from MS patients and normal persons lymphocytes was transcripted to cDNA by RT PCR and labelled with cy 3 and cy 5 The two probes were mixed and hybridized with the above mentioned gene chips Scan array 4000 was used for scanning the hybridizing signals and GenePix Pro3 0 for date analysis Results Of the total 484 double genes monitored,22 genes of group one showed changes in expression level of the ratio outside 0 5 and 2.0;27 genes differ in group 2;72 genes change in group 3 With the same consistent gene ID of the double genes, the group one was 6,the group tow was 9 and the group three was 30 Conclusions These results show that the different expression of immune related genes might occur between MS patients and normal persons It might also afford a view of the changes that these genes should be probably related to the occurrence, development or progress of MS The cell immune related genes might be the important and most immune related genes involved in MS pathogenesis The results suggest the deeper insights into the mechanism, relapsing and treatment of MS

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(01):-
Objective To study the survival, migration and distribution of allogeneic marrow stromal cells (MSCs) which were marked with fluorescence agent Hoechst 33342 in vitro and then transplanted into the mice with acute radiation injury, and to explore the hematopoietic reconstitution in allogeneic MSCs transplantation. Methods The bone marrow of murine femoral bone was washed out with DMEM, the cell suspension was gathered and centrifuged twice, and then the MSCs were cultured in vitro, marked with Hoechst 33342 at final concentration of 10?g/ml. 30 minutes later, the MSCs were gathered and transplanted into radiation injured mice via intravenous injection. Each mouse was injected with 2?105 MSCs. The distribution of marked MSCs was observed in heart, liver, spleen, lung and kidney of radiation injured mice at time points of 1w, 2w and 3w after MSCs transplantation. Results After being marked with Hoechst 33342, the nuclei of MSCs were in bright blue color. All mice of MSCs-transplant-group survived until execution, but three mice of Non-MSCs-transplant-group died during three weeks. Only a few marked MSCs were found in heart, liver, lung and kidney in the frozen section at each time point, but a large number of marked MSCs were found on the surface of spleen, and colonies were formed two weeks after introduction of MSCs. Conclusions Transplanted MSCs can not only survive in the irradiation injured mice, but also specifically migrate to the injured site, to participate in the reconstitution of hematopoiesis after acute radiation injury.

Chinese Journal of Urology 2001;0(11):-
Objective To ascertain the causes of priapism and to differentiate between the ischemic low-flow type and nonischemic high-flow type so as to improve the clinicians' ability for emergency treatment of priapism. Methods Ten cases of priapism were included.Their mean age was 41 years (range,22~64 years). The priapism lasted 8 to 212 h with a mean of 21.2 h.Of them 1 case had received prostaglandin E,papaverine and phentolamine injection into cavernous body of penis, which led to ED;1 had priapism when experiencing sexual intercourse after taking sildenafil;1 had primary sarcoma of the penis;1 had transitional cell carcinoma of bladder, which metastasized to the penis;1 had leukemia; 2 had traumatic history;and 3 had unknown causes. The types, causes, treatment and outcomes of priapism were analyzed. Results Of the 10 cases,8 were of ischemic low-flow type and 2 of nonischemic high-flow type. In the 8 cases of ischemic low-flow type priapism, 4 achieved detumescence after receiving metaraminol injection (2~8 mg) at the root of cavernous body, and perfusion of haparinized saline at glans and root of cavernous body of the penis by contrecoup if necessary (1 had ED).One case undergoing glandular-cavernosal shunting achieved detumescence with preservation of erectile function. One case with leukemia was cured after chemotherapy. One case suffered from penile sarcoma and the rest 1 from metastasis of transitional cell carcinoma; the prognoses of both were unfavorable.Of the 2 cases of high-flow type,1 achieved detumescence after selective embolization of internal pudendal artery;the other was discharged after conservative treatment, but experienced ED. Conclusions Blood gas analysis of cavernosal blood, color Doppler ultrasound, and internal pudendal arteriography are useful in differentiating the types of priapism. If conservative treatment fails to achieve detumescence of the penis, surgical treatment should be performed immediately for both types of priapism.

Journal of Modern Laboratory Medicine 2015;(2):160-162
Objective To learn how well these items of Hubei Province meet the quality standards of allowed imprecision. Methods Collected the indoor quality control data of median concentration levels from the laboratories which participated the project of interlaboratory comparisons of clinical chemistry indoor quality control data in Hubei Province. This paper was to analyze the variation coefficient of indoor quality control for 21 routine clinical chemistry examination items which were K,Na,Cl,TCa,P,GLu,Urea,UA,Cr,TP,Alb,TC,TG,ALT,AST,TBil,ALP,AMS,CK,LDH andγ-GT.The other objec-tive was to learn how well these items of Hubei Province meet the quality standards of allowed imprecision. Then took the 1/3 TEa,1/4 TEa,WS/T-403-2012 and minimum imprecision derived from biological variation as quality specification. And an-alyzed the percentage of laboratories in meeting the quality standards. Results The TG,ALT,CK and TBil in more than 50% of the participated laboratories could meet the quality standards of the 1/3 TEa,1/4 TEa,WS/T-403-2012 and the low-est appropriate imprecision derived from biological variation. The Cl and Cr in more than 50% of laboratories couldn’t meet the all above quality standards. The Na and TCa in all laboratories couldn’t meet the quality standards of best imprecision derived from biological variation. The evaluation criterion for qualified items setted was that the variation coefficient in more than 80% laboratories was less than the quality standard. Thus, the percentage of the items which meet the lowest quality standard of biological variation and the all 21 items was the most (66.7%).While the percentage of the items which met the quality standards of the WS/T403-2012 and the best biological variation was the least (14.3%).Conclusion In short, the values of indoor variation coefficient of the 21 items in laboratories which participated the project of interlaboratory compari-sons of clinical chemistry indoor quality control data generally met the requirements. But some items had a little higher de-gree of dispersion. The laboratories should set the appropriate imprecision levels based on the detection capability and quality standards and improve the quality of examination through continuous efforts.
