Objective To approach the effect of bed exercise for patients with intracranial aneurysm undergoing neural interventional treatment. Methods Ninety-six patients with intracranial aneurysm were divided into the test group(50 cases) and control group(46 cases). The control group received routine nursing, while the test group carried out bed exercise base on routine nursing. The incidence of complica-tions and changes of life quality were compared between the 2 groups. Results Lower incidence of com-plications took place in the test group than the control group(P < 0.05).But changes in pulse rate and blood were not significant (P > 0.05).The score of life quality in the physical domain and psychological domainwere not statistically different between the two groups (P < 0.01 ),but no evident difference was seen in the domain of social relationship and environmental domain (P > 0.05). Conclusions Bed exercise could al-leviated the anxiety and trepidation of patients with intracranial aneurysm, decrease the incidence of compli-cations such as body pain caused by absolute bed rest, thus improve patients' life quality.

Objective To explore the protective effects of adipose - derived stem cells (ADSCs) with phosphodiesterase 5 inhibition by lentivirus-mediated stable gene silencing on the proliferation and apoptosis of renal tubular epithelial cells induced by ischemia-reperfusion injury in vitro. Methods To isolate cultivate and indentify ADSCs from rats. Lentiviral expression vector of carrying PDE5 shRNA gene was transfected into ADSCs, and a negative control group was set up.Western blotting was used to detect PDE5 protein expression levels. ADSCs were co-cultured with NRK-52E in a transwell system, and NRK-52E cells were treated with ischemia/reoxygenation protocol. Edu assay was performed to evaluate the proliferation of NRK cells, flow cytometry to detect the apoptosis of NRK cells, and ELISA to quantify the protein expressions of fibroblast growth factor (FGF) and hepatocyte growth factor (HGF). The expression of E - cadherin and cytokeratin 18 (CK18) was quantified by real time PCR and flow cytometry. Results Western blotting for PDE5 protein indicated a significant reduction of PDE5 protein levels in PDE5 shRNA transduced population. After the treatment of ischemia/reoxygenation in vitro, the proliferative viability and apoptosis of NRK-52E cells co-cultured with ADSCs induced by PDE5 gene inhibition were significantly improved, compared to the normal group (all P<0.05). And the release of HGF, FGF were markedly enhanced (all P<0.05). Moreover, the NRK-52E cells survival, the expression of E-cadherin and CK18 on PDE5 inhibited ADSCs co-cultured with I/R injured NRK cells was significantly increased compared to that in the negative control group (all P<0.05). Conclusion ADSCs preconditioned by inhibition of PDE5 can be a powerful novel approach to improve the survival of renal tubular cells following ischemia-reperfusion injury, and have an obvious tendency to transform epithelial cells.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(11):-
Objective: To investigate the relationship of murine fibrinogen-like protein 2(mfgl2) / fibroleukin with pulmonary impairment in the murine model of severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS).Methods: The Balb/cJ mice infected with murine hepatitis virus strain 3(MHV-3) through the trachea were observed for the pathological features and virus distribution in different organs. The expressions of both mfgl2 and fibrino in the lungs were determined by in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry. Results: The MHV-3 infected mice developed typical interstitial pneumonia with extensive hyaline membrane formation in the alveoli, presented micro-vascular thrombosis in the pulmonary vessels and died within 5 days.MHV-3 virus replication was identified in all the organs observed. The specific expression of mfgl2 prothrombinase was noted in the terminal and respiratory bronchioles, alveolar epithelia and infiltrating cells. Conclusion: The characteristics of the pulmonary impairment of SARS in human can be properly simulated by the MHV-3 induced murine model of SARS.The up-regulation of the specific gene mfgl2 in the lungs involved in fibrino deposition and microvascular thrombosis may be largely responsible for SARS-associated pulmonary damages.
