Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2001;0(03):-
Objective To optimize the adsorption and desorption conditions for total alkaloids from Cortex Phellodendri with AB-8 macroporous resin. Methods With the adsorption and desorption volume of total alkaloids as the observation indexes, the experiment of dynamic adsorption with AB-8 macroporous resin was carried out to observe the effect of the sample volume, flow rate, water volume for removing impurity, and the concentration and volume of eluant on the total alkaloids from Cortex Phellodendri. Results The optimal adsorption conditions were as follows:sample volume being 50mL for each milliliter of the resin, flow rate being 20mL/h(equal to 2 column volume),water for impurity eluent being 30 mL(equal to 3 column volume),and the eluent being 60 mL(equal to 6 column volume) of 40% ethanol.Under the above condition, the purity of the total alkaloids was 40.06%,which is 2.56 times as much as the total alkaloids before loading the column. Conclusion This methed is simple and shows good purifying effect.

China Pharmacist 2017;20(2):284-286
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of acarbose combined with metformin in the treatment of type 2 diabetes with hyper-lipidemia. Methods:A retrospective study was adopted. A total of 2000 patients with type 2 diabetes and hyperlipidemia from general practice in the center were enrolled, and among them, 1050 patients were treated with acarbose, and the other 950 ones were treated with acarbose combined with metformin. After 3-month treatment, the therapeutic effect and adverse drug reactions were compared be-tween the groups. The changes of blood glucose and blood lipid were observed before and after the treatment. Results:The total effec-tive rate was 94. 83% in the combined group, which was significantly higher than that in the control group (72. 38%, P<0. 05). Af-ter the treatment, the blood glucose levels of both groups significantly decreased (P<0. 05), and the decrease in the combined group was more significant than that in the control group (P<0. 05). After the treatment, the serum lipid levels of both groups were signifi-cantly improved (P<0. 05), and the improvement in the combined group was much better than that in the control group (P<0. 05). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of drug reactions between the groups (P>0. 05). Conclusion:Acar-bose combined with metformin in the treatment of type 2 diabetes with hyperlipidemia can significantly improve blood glucose levels and blood lipid levels, and the clinical efficacy should be affirmed.

China Pharmacy 2016;27(20):2771-2773
OBJECTIVE:To explore the distribution and drug resistance of pathogens in patients with hospital-acquired pneumo-nia(HAP)from neurosurgery department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University(called“our hospital”for short),so as to provide reference for clinical use of antibiotics in the clinic. METHODS:The pathogen culture and drug sensitivity test of 652 HAP patients were analyzed retrospectively in neurosurgery department of our hospital during May 2011 to May 2015. RESULTS:Of 652 cases, pathogens were detected in 608 cases, with positive rate of 93.3%. Among 608 strains of pathogen, there were 443 strains of Gram-negative bacteria(71.2%)as Klebsiella pneumonia,Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia co-li;108 strains of Gram-positive bacteria (17.8%) as Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae;67 strains of fungus (11.0%)as Candida albicans. There were 67 strains of ESBLs K. pneumonia,43 strains of ESBLs E. coli and 8 strains of methicil-lin-resistant coagulase negative Staphylococci. The drugs sensitive to Gram-negative bacteria included imipenem, piperacillin sodi-um and tazobactam sodium, cefepime, etc.;those sensitive to Gram-positive bacteria included vancomycin, etc. CONCLUSIONS:Main pathogen of HAP patients in neurosurgery department of our hospital are Gram-negative bacteria, and they were highly resis-tant to antibiotics;the highly sensitive drugs to HAP include imipenem and vancomycin, etc.;the antibiotics should be used ratio-nally according to etiological analysis.

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(8):719-722
Objective To investigate the Effect of Tetramethylpyrazine on adhesion and invasion ability of Cell PG in Hypoxic Environment. Methods The revival cell PG was divided into three dosages(high, medium and low)group of Tetramethylpyrazine, DDP group and negative control group. All of five groups were cultured separately in the normal and hypoxic environment. The adhesion ability of Cell PG were detected by MTT. The invasion ability of Cell PG were detected by Transwell chamber. Results Observed on the reconstruction of the basement membrane adhesion in PG cells by MTT, in normoxic environment the mean absorbance of the TMP high, medium and low concentrations, cisplatin group, control group were (0.556±0.040),(0.519±0.056), (0.517±0.061),(0.333±0.057),(0.300±0.066), P<0.01. In hypoxic environment the mean absorbance of the TMP high , medium and low concentrations, cisplatin group, control group were (0.48±0.032),(0.452±0.059),(0.274±0.093),(0.464±0.099),(0.155±0.042), P<0.01. Promotion of cell adhesion with Tetramethylpyrazine of high, medium and low concentration group and DDP group in hypoxic environment is greater than in normoxic environment(P<0.01). Observed the reconstruction of the invasion of basement membrane of PG cells by Transwell chamber, in normoxic environment the invasive cells of the TMP high, medium and low concentrations, cisplatin group, control group were :(28.00±17.00),(91.67±30.37),(105.67±39.58),(85.00±8.19),(152.33±24.71), P<0.05. In hypoxic environment the invasive cells of the TMP high , medium and low concentrations , cisplatin group, control group were (20.33±15.31), (22.33±17.62),(56.00±11.53),(57.67±35.95), (76.33±18.01), P<0.05. The invasive cells of normoxic control group was significantly more than hypoxic control group(P<0.05). Conclusion In hypoxic environment , adhesion and invasion ability of Cell PG significantly decreased compared with normoxic environment ; In normoxia and hypoxia environment, Tetramethylpyrazine and cisplatin could promote the adhesion ability and inhibit the invasion ability of PG cells. Role in promoting of Tetramethylpyrazine on cell adhesion of PG cells was stronger in hypoxic environment.
