1.Discussion on Relationship Between Changes of Spleen Function and Metabolismof Glucose and Lipid

Diabetes is a common clinical disease, with glucose and lipid metabolism disorder as the main clinical manifestation. The spleen of middle jiao can transport and transform the essence of grain and water. It is also the source of qi and blood, which also provides material foundation for the glucose and lipid metabolism. The spleen deficiency and dampness stasis can lead to the phlegm and blood stagnation, which are closely related to high sugar, high fat, high blood coagulation and vascular endothelial damage. This article discussed the relationship between the changes of spleen function of middle jiao and glucose and lipid metabolism, and provided some theoretical methods for clinical prevention and treatment of diabetes.
2.Effect of drug-containing serum of Fushen Jiangzhuo formula on anti-fi-brosis factors HGF and BMP-7 in rat renal interstitial fibroblasts with re-nal tubulointerstitial lesion

AIM:To study the protective effects and mechanism of Fushen Jiangzhuo formula (FSJZ) on the rat renal interstitial fibroblasts with renal tubulointerstitial lesion .METHODS:The serum containing FSJZ and blank con-trol serum were prepared .The rat model of mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis ( MsPGN) was established and ex-tended the time of modeling to 20th weeks for developing tubulointerstitial lesion naturally .The rat renal interstitial fibro-blasts at the end of 12, 16, 20 week of modeling were isolated and cultured .The effects of FSJZ on the expression of hepa-tocyte growth factor (HGF) and bone morphogenetic protein-7 (BMP-7) at mRNA and protein levels in the pathological re-nal interstitial fibroblasts were determined .RESULTS:The anti-fibrosis factors HGF and BMP-7 were changed in patho-logical renal interstitial fibroblasts .Renal tubulointerstitial lesion significantly down-regulated the expression of HGF and BMP-7, while the drug containing serum of FSJZ significantly up-regulated the expression of HGF and BMP-7.CONCLU-SION:Drug containing serum of FSJZ has protective effect on pathological renal interstitial fibroblasts by regulating the mRNA and protein expression of HGF and BMP-7.
3.Effects of oridonin on invasion and migration of human hepatocellular carcinoma MHCC-97H cells

AIM: To investigate the effects of oridonin on the invasion and migration of hepatocelluar carcinoma cells.METHODS: Human hepatocelluar carcinoma MHCC-97H cells were cultured and treated with 5, 10 or 20 μmol/L oridonin.The migration ability was measured by wound healing assay.The invasion ability was examined by Transwell invasion assay.The adhesion capabilities were evaluated by adhesion assay.The protein levels of LIM kinase-1 (LIMK-1), cofilin and phosphorylated cofilin (p-cofilin) were determined by Western blot.RESULTS: Oridonin inhibited the migration, invasion and adhesion abilities of MHCC-97H cells in a dose-dependent manner (P<0.05).After oridonin treatment, the expression of cofilin had no obvious change, but the protein levels of LIMK-1 and p-cofilin decreased significantly.CONCLUSION: Oridonin inhibits the invasion and migration of MHCC-97H cells.The mechanism may be related with the regulatory effect of oridonin on LIMK-1/cofilin signal transduction pathway.
4.Influence of Xiaokekang on Renal Function in Diabetic Nephropathy Rats

Objective:To observe the changes of glyeemia, urine protein, serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen and glycosylated hemoglobin in diabetic nephropathy rats and treating effects of Xiaokekang. Methods: Streptozotocin (STZ) was abdominally administered and was feeded by high lipid diet to establish diabetic nephropathy model in rats. Animals were divided into three groups: model group, Xiaokekang treatment group and normal group. Changes in glycemia, serum lipids, serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen were measured at the 8th, 12th and 16th week after STZ injection. Glycosylated hemoglobin was measured at the 16th weeks after STZ injection. Results: Glycemia, serum lipids, serum creatinine were higher at the 8th, 12th and 16th week compared with normal group. Serum creatinine was higher at the 12th and 16th week, and glycosylated hemoglobin was also highter than that of the normal group. Xiaokekang reduced these changes. Conclusion: Xiaokekang can reduce glycemia, serum lipids and protect renal function.
5.Segmentation of heart sound signals based on duration hidden Markov model.

Heart sound segmentation is a key step before heart sound classification. It refers to the processing of the acquired heart sound signal that separates the cardiac cycle into systolic and diastolic, etc. To solve the accuracy limitation of heart sound segmentation without relying on electrocardiogram, an algorithm based on the duration hidden Markov model (DHMM) was proposed. Firstly, the heart sound samples were positionally labeled. Then autocorrelation estimation method was used to estimate cardiac cycle duration, and Gaussian mixture distribution was used to model the duration of sample-state.
