Objective To investigate the curative effect of arthroscopic treatment for lateral dis-cord meniscus tear in children. Methods The study involved 229 child patients with lateral discord meniscal tear treated arthroscopically from March 1996 to March 2008. There were 133 males and 96 fe-males, at age of (9±3.5) years (range 4-14 years). The treatment methods included meniscus-plasty in 219 patients (including two children with postoperative recurrence), meniscus-plasty-suture in eight and partial meniscectomy in two. The function of the knees was assessed pre-operationally and post-operation-ally by using Lysholm score. Results Of all, 221 patients were followed up for a period of (65±48.9) months (range 5-144 months). The pain and swelling were alleviated, with obvious improvement in range of motion and knee function in all patients six months after operation. There were no complica-tions including intra-articular infection, iatrogenic injury, fibroarthritis or loss of range of motion. Ly-sholm score was (61.85±7.65) points (range 45-73) before operation, which was improved to (95.30±3.50) points (range 87-100 points) six months after operation (t= 26.778, P < 0.01). Conclusion Treatment of lateral discord meniscus tear under arthroscopic guidance in children has the advantages of minor trauma, satisfactory results, can maintain good shape of the meniscus and good func-tion of knee and reduce incidence rate of osteoarthritis.

A PP plastic film for food packaging (0. 1 mm) was prepared by adding two antioxidants of 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-methyl-phenol(BHT) and pentaerythritol tetrakis ( 3-( 3, 5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl ) propionate)(Irganox 1010) with different concentrations into polypropylene (PP) resin, then mixing extrusion granulate by the double screw plastic extruder and hot pressing the film at 190℃. The migration amount of the two antioxidants in food simulants (95% ethanol) was determined by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with diode array detector (PDA) (detection wavelength is 282 nm). The migration of BHT was detected and Irganox 1010 was not detected. Based on the large amount of experimental data, the migration model was fitted by a software, then the migration model of antioxidant BHT was established, the applicability of the two migration model was compared with the actual data. The results showed that the fitting degree ( R2 ) of Weibull model to the actual migration result was greater than 0. 99 and better than Piringer model. It was found that there was a mathematical relationship as τ≈12. 2 ( L2/D) between parameters of Weibull model and Piringer model.

Surface molecularly imprinted polymers (SMIPs) for selective adsorption of ampicillin sodium were synthesized using surface molecular imprinting technique with silica gel as a support. The physical and morphological characteristics of the polymers were investigated by scanning electron microscope (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), elemental analysis and nitrogen adsorption–desorption test. The obtained results showed that the SMIPs displayed great adsorption capacity (13.5μg/mg), high recognition ability (the imprinted factor is 3.2) and good binding kinetics for ampicillin sodium. Finally, as solid phase extraction adsorbents, the SMIPs coupled with HPLC method were validated and applied for the enrichment, purification and determination of ampicillin sodium in real milk and blood samples. The averages of spiked accuracy ranged from 92.1%to 107.6%. The relative standard deviations of intra-and inter-day precisions were less than 4.6%. This study provides a new and promising method for enriching, extracting and determining ampicillin sodium in complex biological samples.

Objective:To systematically evaluate the efficacy of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) or transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) in dysphagia after stroke. Methods:Six Chinese or English databases, including PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, CNKI, Wanfang and VIP, were searched by computer for randomized controlled trials of dysphagia after stroke with rTMS or tDCS (experimental group) from database construction to May 2023; those received conventional treatment+sham stimulation or conventional treatment only were enrolled as control group. Effective data were screened and extracted after literature quality evaluation by Cochrane. The outcome indexes included scores of penetration-aspiration scale (PAS), fiberoptic endoscopic dysphagia severity scale (FEDSS) and functional oral intake scale (FOIS). Reviewer Manager 5.4 software was used for Meta analysis of the extracted data, and mean difference ( MD) or standardized mean difference ( SMD) were used as effect indexes. Results:Twelve articles were finally included in the research literature, involving 637 subjects. Meta-analysis indicated that compared with the control group, the experimental group had significantly decreased PAS scores ( MD=-0.740, 95% CI: -1.020--0.460, P<0.001); FOIS scores in the experimental group were significantly increased compared with those in the control group ( MD=0.680, 95% CI: 0.220-1.130, P=0.003); FEDSS scores in the experimental group were significantly decreased compared with those in the control group ( SMD=-0.890, 95% CI: -1.110--0.670, P<0.001). Conclusion:The rTMS or tDCS can effectively alleviate dysphagia symptoms after stroke.

We developed the recombinant green fluorescent protein gene yeast cell to screen estrogenic compounds based on two episomal vectors. In the expression vector the expression of human estrogen receptor alpha(hERalpha) was driven by 3-glyceraldehydephosphate dehydrogenase (GPD) promoter; in the reporter vector the expression of the yeast enhanced green fluorescent protein (yEGFP) gene was under the control of the estrogen response element (ERE). The vectors were transformed into yeast cell (W303-1A) to construct GFP recombinant yeast cell. Incubation of the yeast cell with various concentrations of the estrogenic compounds led to expression of the reporter gene product GFP in a dose dependent manner. Compared to other yeast bioassays, the yeast cell for environmental estrogen bioassay based on yEGFP reporter gene did not need cell wall disruption or the addition of a substrate or reagent. This yEGFP assay was performed completely in 96 well plates. So this test system can be used as a rapid and high throughput system for screening estrogenic chemical products, which has the characteristics of the sensitivity, reproducibility and cheapness.

10.Role of JAK2-STAT3 signaling pathway in tumorigenesis and development
Journal of International Oncology 2021;48(12):739-742
JAK2-STAT3 signaling pathway, as the main chain of intracellular signal transmission, plays an important role in cell proliferation, apoptosis, invasion, migration and immune response. Triggered by cytokines and interferon, this pathway can quickly transduce extracellular signals into the nucleus, and it has abnormal expression in various tumors, such as squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck, lung cancer, esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer and myeloproliferative neoplasms. Further understanding of the carcinogenic mechanism of JAK2-STAT3 signaling pathway can provide new ideas for clinical treatment of tumors and prognosis.
