AIM: To unveil the molecular mechanism of i sc hemic myocardium with displaying the differences on the protein expression in my ocardium. METHODS: Proteins of the ischemic myocardium induced by pituitri n were seperated by two dimentional electrophoresis (2-DE). The 2-DE image was a nalyzed by the software package PDQuest7.1.1. RESULTS: 10 proteins showed significant difference (P

【Objective】To assess the efficacy and safety of Tongxinluo Capsules for cerebrovascular disorders by meta analysis.【Methods】Randomized controlled trials(RCT) of Tongxinluo Capsules for cerebrovascular disorders were got by searching China Journal Full-text Database(from 1996 to May,2006),China Best Doctoral and Master's Dissertations(from 1996 to May,2006),MEDLINE(from 1996 to May,2006),and Cochrane Library with computer, and were screened by manual search.RevMan 4.2 software and SAS were used in Meta-analysis.【Results】Thirty seven RCT were included,in which involved 2791 patients.Among them,1764 patients were treated with Tongxinluo Capsules, and other 1572 served as the controls. Meta-analysis results showed that the difference of the total efficacy in 31 RCT was significant(P

AIM: To investigate the effects and mechanisms of irbesartan, one of the angiotensin Ⅱreceptor blockers,on kidney function in diabetic rats. METHODS: Forty adult male Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups: control group, diabetes group, irbesartan group and captopril group. At the end of 12 weeks, the rats were sacrificed. Urine volume, body weight, kidney weight/body weight, plasma, glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA_1c),urinary ?_2-microglobulin (?_2-MG) excretion, urinary albumin excretion rate (UAR),creatinine clearance (Ccr) were measured. Nitric oxide (NO) and endothelin-1 (ET-1) levels in plasma, urinary and renal tissues were determined. RESULTS: Urine volume, kidney weight/body weight, plasma glucose,HbA1C,UAR,Ccr,urinary ?_2-MG excretion,NO and ET-1 levels of urinary, blood and renal tissue in diabetic rats were significantly higher than those of normal controls ( P

Objective To observe the effect of human immunoglobulin on elderly head and facial post herpetic neuralgia (PHN) and peripheral blood TNF-α.Methods One hundred and twenty-two inpatients with PHN aged ≥65 years old were selected and divided into the observation group (52 cases) and control group (70 cases) by the systematic sampling method. The control group was given the early conventional combined therapy, while on this basis the observation group was intravenously dripped by human immunoglobulin. The incidence rate of PHN and pain visual analog scale(VAS) score at 1,2,3 months after recovery discharge from hospital were recorded in the two groups.Other 20 healthy elderly people were selected as the healthy control group. The TNF-α level was determined in the two patients groups before and after treatment and in the healthy control group. Results The PHN occurrence rate at 1,2,3 months after discharge in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05);the VAS score after treatment and at 1,2,3 months after discharge in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05);serum TNF-α level after treatment in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.01),moreover which was close to the level in the healthy control group(P>0.5).Conclusion Human immunoglobulin can reduce the PHN occurrence in the old people with head and facial herpes zoster and reduce the peripheral blood TNF-α level.
6.A consensus on the management of allergy in kindergartens and primary schools
Chinese Journal of School Health 2023;44(2):167-172
Abstract
Allergic diseases can occur in all systems of the body, covering the whole life cycle, from children to adults and to old age, can be lifelong onset and even fatal in severe cases. Children account for the largest proportion of the victims of allergic disease, Children s allergies start from scratch, ranging from mild to severe, from less to more, from single to multiple systems and systemic performance, so the prevention and treatment of allergic diseases in children is of great importance, which can not only prevent high risk allergic conditions from developing into allergic diseases, but also further block the process of allergy. At present, there is no consensus on the management system of allergic children in kindergartens and primary schools. The "Consensus on Allergy Management and Prevention in Kindergartens and Primary Schools", which includes the organizational structure, system construction and management of allergic children, provides evidence informed recommendations for the long term comprehensive management of allergic children in kindergartens and primary schools, and provides a basis for the establishment of the prevention system for allergic children.
