Objective To study the relation between hyperglycaemia and the prognosis in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus undergoing coronary revascularization. Methods Study retrospectively 334 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients underwent coronary revascularization, we compare the incidence of hyperglycaemia between patients with good prognosis and patients with bad prognosis undergoing coronary artery bypass graft and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty. We identify by logistic regression analysis the extent of hyperglycaemia as risk factor in the prognosis individually. Results In patients undergoing coronary artery bypass graft and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, the incidence of hyperglycaemia is higher in patients with bad prognosis than in patients with good prognosis. It is identified by logistic regression analysis that hyperglycaemia deteriorates the prognosis of patients undergoing coronary artery bypass graft (OR=2.033, P=0.008) and patients undergoing percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (OR=2.476, P=0.006). Conclusion To control hyperglycaemia efficiently following coronary revascularization in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus is mandatory.

Objective To observe the effect of Kouchuangping oral liquid (KCP), which can clear away stomach-heat, purge fire, nourish yin, on golden yellow hamster aphtha that induced by PQ. Methods Inject PQ which can cause membrana mucosa ulceration in golden yellow hamster’s cheek pouch, observe the pathomorphological process of ulcerative lesion and antioxidation of three different KCP dosage teams. Result The KCP has the function of anti-inflammation and anti-exudation on ulcerative lesion, which can relieve epithelium necrosis and promote the recovery of ulceration. It also can increase the vigor of SOD in serum and degrade the content of MDA. Conclusion KCP has the functions of antioxidation and eliminate oxydic and metabolic products.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Kuijiening Paste acupoint application on ulcerative colitis (UC) patients of spleen-kidney Yang deficiency type, and its effect on serum levels of IFN-γand IL-4. Methods Sixty UC patients were divided into treatment group, control group and combined treatment group, 20 cases in each group, and were given Kuijiening Paste acupoint application plus placebo, oral sulfasalazine plus comfort paste and Kuijiening Paste acupoint application plus sulfasalazine respectively for 60 days. The clinical efficacy, mucosal lesions efficacy, mucosal pathology efficacy, changes of serum IFN-γand IL-4 were observed after treatment. Results There was no significant difference in clinical efficacy, mucosal lesions efficacy and mucosal pathology efficacy among the three groups (P>0.05). After treatment, IFN-γlevels of the three groups significantly reduced, and IL-4 levels significantly increased (P<0.01). The difference between the treatment group and the control group was significant (P<0.05). The difference between the combined treatment group and the control group was significant (P<0.01). Conclusion Kuijiening Paste acupoint application combined with sulfasalazine can regulate the level of immune cytokine in UC patients of spleen-kidney Yang deficiency type, and receive good clinical efficacy.

Objective To analyse the clinical and pathological features of cystadenocarcinoma in the intrahepatic biliary tract. Methods The clinical features of 14 patients with cystadenocarcinoma in intrahepatic biliary tract were analysed in respect to the results of ultrasonic and CT scannings, as well as pathological examination. Results Among the 14 patients, 11 were females and 3 were males. The age of the patients ranged from 32 to 79 years, and mean age was 59.5. The obvious symptoms were right-upper abdominal pain and abdominal distention, and major physical signs were hepatomegaly with cystic feeling. The ultra sonographic and CT scanning revealed cystic space occupying lesions in the liver. According to the invasion or infiltration of carcinoma to the liver tissue, the pathology of cystadenocarcinoma in intrahepatic biliary tract could be categorized into two types: the invading and non-invading. There were 8 patients belonging to the first type and they died 9～37 months after the diagnosis or operation, while 6 patients with no invasion were alive after operation. Conclusion The clinical picture and pathology of cystadenocarcinoma in intrahepatic biliary tract were described. The pathological classification was important in prognosticating the outcome of the patient.

Objective To build an advanced clinical case collection and teaching system for the department of radiology, and thus to facilitate the scientific research and teaching.Methods By combining several free software, we built a network version of the case collection system with simple web pages, to achieve centralized storage of case text and image data, thus to facilitate the research and teaching work.Results This case collection system quickly saved text data and image data through simple operation, supported parallel work without the need for complex configuration on the client, and had good support for wide area network.This system had stable system operation and could be customized to meet the clinical needs well.Conclusion Using free software to establish the network version of the case collection and teaching system is low cost and has no legal risk.This system is a simple but powerful tool, and can meet the needs of hospitals with different sizes, which is a more perfect case collection system.

Objective To establish a HPLC method for the determination of deoxys chizandrin and schisantherrin A in Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis. Methods The as say was conducted on a YWG-C18 column with methonal-water (77 ∶23) as mobile phase. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min and detection wavelength was 230 nm. Results Satisfactory linearities of deoxyschizandrin and schisantherrin A were shown in the range of 0.125～1.25 ?g and 0.08～0.8 ?g,and the recovery was 100.1 %an d 100.0 %(RSD being 0.15 %and 0.28 %。Schisandra sphenanthcra),and 99.7 %an d 101.2 %(RSD being 0.32 %and 0.67 %。Schisandra chinensis) (n=5). Conclusion The HPLC method was simple,curate,highly sensitive and reproducible. It may b e used for the quantitative determination of deoxyschizandrin and schisantherrin A in Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis.

Large amount of data including chemical composition and size information of individual particles would be generated in the measurement of aerosol particles using atmospheric aerosol time-of-flight mass spectrometry ( ATOFMS ) . Our home-made ATOFMS was used to measure the indoor individual aerosol particles in real-time for 24 h, and the obtained mass spectrometric data were clustering analysis by self-organizing map ( SOM ) because of its ability of vector quantization and data dimensionality reduction. 20 classification results were got which includedCalcium-Containing,Salt+Secondary particles,Secondary particles,Organic Amines,K+-Rich Organics andSoil particles, etc. Compared with previous mass spectrometric methods, SOM is a natural visualization tool, more classification results can be obtained. This classification information would be useful to assess the response and toxicity of atmospheric aerosol particles and identify the origin of atmospheric aerosol particles.

Objective To observe the effect of Shenxian Yiganling Tablets ( SYT) , a Chinese herbal recipe with the actions of tonifying kidney and removing toxicity, combined with HBsAg gene-modified dendritic cells (DC/HBsAg) on immune response and hepatocyte damage of hepatitis B virus (HBV) transgenic mice. Methods HBV transgenic mice ( Tg mice) were immunized with injection of DC/HBsAg ( 100 μg every three weeks) through caudal vein, and then were given intragastric administration of SYT in the dosage of 12.8, 23.5, and 47.0 mg/d for four weeks. HBV Tg mice splenic T cell cytokines of interleukin 2 ( IL-2) and interferon gamma ( IFN-γ) levels as well as serum alanine aminotransferase ( ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase ( AST) conents were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay ( ELISA) . Lactate dehydrogenase ( LDH) release assay was used to detect the in-vitro cytotoxic activity of splenic HBsAg specific T lymphocytes. Serum HBsAg level of HBV Tg mice was detected by ELISA after immunization. Results Compared with DC/HBsAg administration alone, DC/HBsAg combined with SYT could significantly increase HBV Tg mice splenic T cells cytokines IL-2 and IFN-γ levels ( P<0.05 or P<0.01) , increase the cytotoxic activity of HBsAg-specific T lymphocytes ( P<0.05 or P<0.01), increase the inhibition rate of HBsAg expression (P<0.05 or P<0.01), and reduce hepatocyte damage. Conclusion SYT could enhance the immune response of Tg mice to DC/HBsAg immunization, and relieve the hepatic damage, which enable the HBV clearance process out of hepatic damage in the case of anti-HBV activity of IFN-γbeing unaffected.

Objective To investigate the long-term results of gastrocnemius fascial turn-down flaps and suture anchors in reconstruction of chronic Achilles tendon rupture.Methods From September 2007 to February 2010,20 patients with chronic Achilles tendon rupture were reconstructed with gastrocnemius fascial turn-down flaps plus suture anchors.There were 13 males and 7 females at mean age of 36 years (range,23-50 years).Unilateral tendon rupture was observed in 19 patients and bilateral in 1 patient.Tendon defect gap was 5-9 cm (mean 6.7 cm).Braces were used to immobilize the lower limber,and early exercise was encouraged.The outcomes were assessed using Arner-Lindhohm scoring system and Leppilahti scoring system.Results Postoperative recovery was uneventful.No patients experienced cut infection or other complications.After a mean 38-month follow-up (range,30-42 months),all patients could stand on the injured toes.Muscular strength of the affected lower limber was restored to 89％ of the unaffected side.According to the Arner-Lindhohm score,10 patients were rated as excellent and ten good.Mean Leppilahti score was 85 points (range,60-100 points),with excellent results in nine patients,good results in 10 and fair result in one.Conclusion For patients with chronic Achilles tendon rupture,the reconstructing using gastrocnemius fascial turn-down flaps combined with suture anchors can attain rigid fixation,early functional exercise,effective prevention of tendon adhesion,and good function recovery.

Objective To investigate the influence of glycosylated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) standard value (2007 and 2010 Chinese Diabetes Prevention Guide) on glycemic control and treatment of type 2 diabetic patients in Chinese cities.Methods A cross-sectional study was carried out in type 2 diabetes mellitus from outpatients in selected hospitals all over China in 2009 and 2012.Patients treated with oral antidiabetic drugs (OADs),insulin or OAD combined with insulin were enrolled.A questionnaire including general characters,therapy,complications and blood glucose was completed by trained surveyors.Results A total of 30 853 patients were enrolled in 2009,and 48 232 patients in 2012.The distribution of HbA1c ＜6.5％,6.5％-＜7.0％,7.0％-＜8.0％,8.0％-＜9.0％,9.0％-＜ 10.0％ and ≥ 10.0％ was 20.35％,12.59％,35.50％,18.94％,6.46％ and 6.16％ in 2012; 14.81％,27.72％,14.55％,6.55％ and 8.36％ in 2009,respectively.The top three OAD were biguanides,sulfonylureas and thiazolidine.The most common treatment options for combined therapy are metformin combined with sulfonylurea in both 2009 and 2012.Conclusions There is an increase in the proportion of patients with good and general blood glucose control in 2012.With the generalization of Chinese Diabetes Prevention Guide,a steady tendency is presented in blood glucose control.
