[Objective]To explore the change and its significance of the expression of basic fibroblastic growth factor(bFGF) and bone morphogenetic protein-2(BMP-2) of the local femoral head in nontraumatic osteonecrosis(NONFH). [Methods]Thirty samples of femoral heads of NONFH were collected as the experimental group and 10 fresh samples of femoral heads of femoral neck fracture as control group.The specimens were collected at the time of total articular replacement arthroplasty.The bone tissues from necrosis area and healthy area were made into general sections after immobility and decalcification.Pathological changes were exexamined by optical microscopy and the expression of bFGF and BMP-2 in femoral head was determined with in-situ hybridization technique.[Results]The organization structure of experimental group was disorganized,cracked,and the bone trabecula was rarefactive and non-intact.There were a great number of empty lacune in bone trabecula.The intensity and area of positive expression of bFGF and BMP-2 in femoral head of the experimental group were obviously lower than that of control group.The result had statistical significance(P

This paper described the basic structure, working principle and key technology of neural prosthetic system, summarized the application, problems and prospects of neural prosthetic technology in the rehabilitation of cervical spinal cord injury.

Objective To investigate the effectiveness and safety of minimal invasive surgery combined with ventriculoscope for the treatment of basal ganglia hemorrhage.Methods From June 2014 to June 2015 there were 57 patients with basal ganglia hemorrhage were selected into this study.These patients were signed into the minimal invasive surgery combined with ventriculoscope group and the craniotomy group according to the methods of surgery they received.And the clinical outcomes of the two groups were compared.Results Compared with the craniotomy group,patients in the minimal invasive surgery combined with ventriculoscope group got a significantly lower Glasgow coma scale at 7 days,14 days and 28 days after the operation (P =0.02,0.04,0.04);the hospital stays were significantly reduced in the minimal invasive surgery combined with ventriculoscope group [(21.45 ±5.67)d vs.(25.67 ±7.45)d,P =0.02];and the operation time were significantly reduced as well [(134.45 ±21.11)min vs.(178.65 ±45.32)min,P =0.000)].There was no significant difference in intra-cranial pressure,rate of hematoma clearance,rate of organ functional failure,rate of re-bleeding and mortality 28 days after operation (P >0.05).Conclusion The minimal invasive surgery combined with ventriculoscope is effective and safe for the treatment of basal ganglia hemorrhage,which is worthy of popularization.

Objective:The research aimed to figure out the geographic availability of the residence in the aspect of receiving health service thereby studying the spatial distribution regulation and the distance attenuation coefficient of the inpatients.It also provides the decision-making basis for the regional health planning.Methods: Select 23 medical institutions and randomly pick up patients from each of them, calculate the distance between the inpatients home and the medical institutions, then simulate the corresponding probability patients using the Geographical Infor-mation System ( GIS) .Perform a variety of curve fitting models according to the determination and simulation graph-ics coefficient choosing the most appropriate model, and draw corresponding the distance attenuation coefficient.Re-sults:An exponential curve model is better than power curve model for the secondary medical institutions inpatients distribution and contrarily for those in the tertiary medical institutions.The mean distance attenuation coefficient was 0.51 for exponential curve model of secondary comprehensive medical institutions inpatients and its average was 0.50 for the secondary specialist medical institutions inpatients.The mean distance attenuation coefficient was 0.84 for the power curve model of the tertiary comprehensive medical institutions inpatient and its average was 0.53 for tertiary specialist medical institutions inpatients.Conclusion: The secondary medical institutions inpatient probable attenua-tion trends with distance are faster than in tertiary medical institutions, those for the comprehensive medical institu-tions inpatient are faster than in the specialist medical institutions.In the regional health planning, for different lev-els, categories of medical institutions should adopt different distance attenuation coefficients to calculate the health re-sources level.

Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture plus rehabilitation in treating deglutition disorders due to cerebral stroke and its effect on each link of the neural pathway of deglutition function. Method By adopting the prospective randomized controlled method, ninety-nine patients with deglutition disorders after cerebral stroke were recruited and divided into an acupuncture-rehabilitation group, a pharyngeal acupuncture group, and a control group, respectively 33 cases, 34 cases, and 32 cases in each group. The acupuncture-rehabilitation group was intervened by acupuncture respectively at scalp, pharyngeal, and the root of tongue plus basic treatment, the pharyngeal acupuncture group was by acupuncture at the deglutition point (Extra) plus basic treatment, while the control group was by the basic treatment alone, once a day, 4 weeks in total. The Functional Oral Intake Scale (FOIS) and Clinical Nursing Swallowing Assessment Tool (CNSAT) were evaluated and statistically analyzed before and after intervention. Result The component scores of CNSAT were significantly improved after intervention in the acupuncture-rehabilitation group (P<0.01); the component scores of CNSAT were significantly changed after intervention in the pharyngeal acupuncture group (P<0.05);the CNSAT component scores in the acupuncture-rehabilitation group were significantly different from that in the pharyngeal acupuncture group and control group after intervention (P<0.01); the CNSAT component scores in the pharyngeal acupuncture group were significantly different from that in the control group after intervention (P<0.05). The FOIS scores were enhanced in the three groups after treatment; the FOIS score was significantly changed in the acupuncture-rehabilitation group after intervention (P<0.01);the FOIS score was markedly changed in the pharyngeal acupuncture group after intervention (P<0.05);the FOIS scores in the acupuncture-rehabilitation group and pharyngeal acupuncture group were both significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.01,P<0.05). Conclusion The scalp-pharyngeal-root of tongue sequential-acupuncture plus rehabilitation can effectively mitigate the deglutition problems after cerebral stroke, improve the food-intake ability of the patients, and reduce the risk of mistake inhalation.

ObjectiveTo investigate the neuropsychological impairments and risk factors that caused cognitive disturbance in patients with silent brain infarction (SBI). Methods36 SBI subjects and 25 normal controls were compared on a comprehensive neuropsychological test battery. Logistic regression was used to analysis the risk factors. ResultsThe SBI group scored lower on the visual retention test (VRT), the WAIS RC full scale IQ, standard scores of the perceptual organization factor and memory/attention factors than did the control group. The score of self rating depression scale (SDS) was higher in SBI group. Hypertension and leukoaraiosis (LA) were correlates of cognitive impairment in logistic regression analyses. Conclusions SBI has some degree of neuropsychological impairment, especially deficits of visuospatial ability, disturbance of perceptual organization, memory and attention, and some degree of depression. Hypertension and LA independently contribute to the risk factors of cognitive disturbance.

Objective To establish a chemiluminecentdetection method ( CLIA ) of HCV IgG antibody for the detection of HCV infection and therefore lay a foundation for the research and development of testing kit.Methods Based upon the indirect ELISA method, the microwell plate was coated with HCV-NS3 and HCV-Core antigen expressed through gene engineering, and the anti-human IgG antibody was labeled with horse radish peroxidase.In this way, the chemiluminesent detection method of HCV IgG antibody was established.Meanwhile, the serum specimen of randomly selected 198 patients infected with HCV from No.302 Hospital of PLA and 222 blood donors, and the results were compared.Results The HCV-IgG antibody, a positive consistent rate of 99.0%( 196/198 ) , a negative consistent rate of 98.2%(218/222), and a total consistent rate of 98.6%(414/420) were found through testing 420 serum specimen with self-made agent and contrast agent.One HCV positive serum was repetitively tested with the self-made agent for 10 times, and a coefficient of variation ( CV) of less than 10% was found.Conclusion The chemiluminescent detection method of HCV IgG antibody is initially established, and the method, with an outstanding specificity and sensitivity, is applicable for screening blood donors, clinically detecting HCV infection as well as epidemiological survey.

Objective To construct double expression retroviral vectors targeting chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) b3a2-type mRNA and investigate its effect on the phenotype of K562 cells. Methods The eGFP coding sequence was inserted into the retroviral vector pMSCV-neo to construct pMSCV/GFP, then H1-RNA pol III-based transcription cassettes was subcloned into it to form pMSCV/GFP-H1-BCR/ABL40AS. Two control vectors pMSCV/GFP-H1-BCR/ABL40S & pMSCV/GFP-H1-BCR/ABL80AS were constructed in addition. All these constructions were identified by restriction enzyme analysis and DNA sequencing. After that, the recombinant vectors were transferred into retrovirus packaging cell line PT67 by using lipofectamine2000, and G418 were used to select stable virus-producing cell lines. Viral titer was determined by infection of NIH3T3 cells sequentially. The cell-growth curve was assayed, cell apoptosis was checked with Annexin V-PE/7AAD double staining and flow cytometry analysis after 24-hour infection, the PKR phosphorylation was assayed by Western blotting. Results The plasmids were successfully constructed. Four cell lines, named as PT67-MSCV/GFP, PT67-40as, PT67-40s and PT67-80as were gained by G418 selection, and virus titers were 6.2?10~ 5 , 5.6?10~ 5 , 4.6?10~ 5 and 6.0?10~ 5 CFU/ml respectively. Objective To explore the inflammatory mechanisms of pulmonary embolism ( PTE ) and/or deep venous thrombosis ( DVT ) in elders secondary to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease ( COPD) exacerbation.Methods A total of 26 elders with acute exacerbation of high-risk COPD secondary PTE and/or DVT and 26 patients with low-risk COPD during stable phase diagnosed during the period of January 2008 to December 2012 were enrolled.The relevant parameters of routine blood examination , blood viscosity, D-dimer, fibrinogen ( FIB), arterial blood gas, blood cytokine, erythrocyte sedimentation rate ( ESR ) and C-reactive protein ( CRP ) were retrospectively analyzed.Results The major nonspecific symptoms were cough, sputum and dyspnea.The mean of neutrophile percentage (N%), D-dimer, FIB, interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor (TNF), C-reactive protein (CRP), low and high shear blood viscosity in blood samples of patients with acute exacerbation of high-risk COPD secondary PTE and ( or ) DVT were higher than those of the control group ( t =3.339, 2.700, 2.207, 2.431, 2.257, 2.143, 2.223, 2.797, all P<0.05).However arterial partial pressure of oxygen ( PaO2 ) was lower than that of lower-risk COPD patients (t=4.312, P<0.05).IL-6 in blood of patients with acute exacerbation of high-risk COPD secondary PTE and ( or) DVT was positively correlated with low-shear blood viscosity , D-dimer and FIB (r=0.437, 0.624, 0.429, all P<0.05).TNF in blood of patients with acute exacerbation of high-risk COPD secondary PTE and ( or ) DVT was positively correlated to FIB , low and high cut blood viscosity ( r =0.624, 0.519, 0.513, all P <0.05 ).Plasma CRP in blood of patients with acute exacerbation of high-risk COPD secondary PTE and/or DVT was positively correlated with D-dimer, FIB, IL-6 and TNF ( r=0.478, 0.541, 0.533, 0.491, all P<0.05).Conclusions Inflammation may exist in elders with acute exacerbation of high-risk COPD secondary thrombotic disease.IL-6 and TNF may promote thrombosis secondary to acute exacerbation of COPD disease.Early screening and/or prophylactic anticoagulation are necessary for prevention.

Embryonic stem (ES) cells have the unique capacity to proliferate extensively and maintain the potential to differentiate into advanced derivatives of all three primary germ layers. ES cell lines can also be generated from human blastocyst embryos and are considered promising donor sources for cell transplantation therapies for diseases such as juvenile diabetes, Parkinson's disease, and heart failure. However, as for organ transplants, tissue rejection remains a significant concern for ES cell transplantation. Another concern is the use of human embryos. One possible means to avoid these issues is by reprogramming the nuclei of differentiated cells to ES cell-like, pluripotent cells. This review discusses the potential of these strategies to generate tailor-made pluripotent stem cells and the role of transcription factors in the reprogramming process.
