Clinical Medicine of China 2014;(6):574-576
Objective To investigate the change of peripheral blooe natural killer(NK)cell subsets of patients with recurrent spontaneous abortion( RSA),in oreer to proviee the relevant scientific evieence for unexplainee recurrent spontaneous abortion( URSA) eiagnosis ane treatment. Methods Sixty-three RSA patients were raneomly eivieee into CRSA(n = 33)ane URSA(n = 30). Meanwhile 30 cases normal pregnancy women were selectee as control. Flow cytometry was appliee to eetect NK cell levels in patients with RSA ane its subsets percentage, ane then comparee to the control group. Results NK cells subset in RSA,URAS ane normal pregnancy women were(13. 77 ± 1. 53)% ,(13. 97 ± 1. 60)% ,ane(13. 65 ± 1. 74)%. There was no significant eifference among three groups( F = 0. 287,P > 0. 05). The percent of CD56 + CD16 - ,CD56 +CD16 + ,CD56 - CD16 + NK cell subsets in RAS group were:(70. 00 ± 2. 49)% ,(13. 76 ± 2. 13)% ,(7. 04 ± 1. 44)% respectively,ane(56. 50 ± 3. 94)% ,(22. 88 ± 3. 22)% ,(11. 24 ± 2. 21)% in URAS group, meanwhile(70. 48 ± 3. 21)% ,(14. 16 ± 2. 14)% ,(6. 53 ± 1. 98)% in normal pregnancy group. There was no significant eifference between RSA ane normal pregnancy group( P > 0. 05). However,There was markeely eifference between URSA with RSA or normal group(F = 182. 587,18. 118,58. 879,P < 0. 05). Conclusion NK cell activity function plays a key role in the eevelopment of URSA. The eetection of the percentage of NK cell subsets of women euring pregnancy will help RSA monitoring ane NK cell subsets can preeict the percentage change in the pregnancy outcome .

Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(03):-
The changes of the spinal cord blood flow(SCBF),the content of TXB2 and 6-keto-PGF1a of the injured segment of the cord and other neurological manifestations were observed on a rat model of spinal cord injury(SCI)established with Allen's weight drop(50g-cm)method and the effects of indomethacin on these changes were studied. It was found that SCBF was significantly reduced in the first 2 hours after SCI and further reduced in the 4th ~ 8th hour.Increase of TXB2 was observed in the 1st hour and reached the peak in the 4th hour. The level of 6-keto-PGF1a was also increased in the 1st hour and maintained at that level for 24 hours. The changes of TXB2/6-keto-PGF1a was similar to those of TXB2.There was a negative correlation of SCHF with TXB2 content and TXB2/6-keto-PGF1a ratio. The intravenous injection of 10mg/kg indomethacin could inhibit the increase of TXB2 content and increase 6-keto-PGF1a content relatively. It could also alleviate or retard the decrease of SCBF after SCI and improve the motar function of the hind limbs of the rats. These findings suggest that indomethacin can improve SCBF and promote the recovery of neurological functions through its regulatory effects on the levels of TXB2 and 6-keto-PGF1a

Objective To observe the diameters of macular hole and destroyed boundary line between inner and outer segment (IS/OS) of the photoreceptors and the correlation with the visual acuity in patients with idiopathic macular hole(IMH). Methods The clinical data of 39 eyes (37 patients) with IMH were retrospective analyzed. All the patients had undergone the examinations of visual acuity (Snellen chart), intra-acular pressure, ocular fundus (indirect ophthalmoscope), and Fourier-domain optical coherence tomography (FD-OCT) whose speed was 27 000 A scan/s, area was 6.0 mm×6.0 mm, and the mode was 512×128. The diametres of macular hole and destroyed IS/OS, and the correlations with visual acuity were detected. Results The mean IogMAR was 0.99±0. 44 (ranged from 0. 15 to 2.00), the mean diameter of macular holes was (942.0± 348. 4)μm(ranged from 171 to 1491 μm), and the mean diameter of IS/OS disruption was (1870. 35±673.2) μm(range from 463 to 3176 μm). There was a significant correlation among the diameter of the macular hole, the diameter of the IS/OS disruption, and IogMAR in IMH (P= 0. 038, 0. 002, 0. 000). In eyes with closed macular hole after surgery, the IogMAR and the diameter of the IS/OS disruption had a significant decrease. Conclusion Using FD-OCT the photoreceptor changes can be visualized in vivo. The abnormality in the IS-OS boundary line appears to be involved for a much larger area beyond the macular hole itself, and persists there with small size even after the maeular hole closure surgery.

Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2008;31(4):446-449
Objective To investigate the mechanism that cause allelic dropout of amelogenin gene on X chromosome(Amel-X)when using routine Sullivan106/112 bp primer set in sex identification and discuss its influence on the forensic sex identification and the clinical diagnosis. Methods Amel-X dropout was validated with Sullivan212/218 bp and Haas-Rochholz80/83 bp primer sets.Amplification of amelogenin gene was used to analyze dropout of the Amex-X followed by sequencin. Results Sullivan212/218 bp and Hgas-Rochholz80/83 bp primer sets could be used to identify gender correctly.Three types of point mntation were observed in the forward primer binding region of the Sullivan106/112 bp primer set by sequencing in the lost Amel-X,including single point mutation at 2nd and 13th sites, respectively, and heterozygous multiple point mutations at 2nd and 13th sites. Conclusions Point mutation in the primer binding region may result in a failure to amplify amelogenin allele and thus lead to a null allele. This finding should be mid attention to because it may interfere with the sex identification.
