Objective:To study the relationship among brachial ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV ) ,level of high sensitive C reactive protein (hsCRP ) and blood glucose level in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM ) . Methods :A total of 102 T2DM patients and 60 healthy people undergoing physical examination (normal control group) were selected .According to level of glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) ,T2DM patients were divided into normal HbA1c group (n=44 ,HbA1c≤6. 5% ) and HbA1c elevating group (n=58 ,HbA1c>6. 5% ) .BaPWV ,lev‐els of blood lipids ,blood glucose and hsCRP were measured and compared among above groups .Results:Compared with normal control group ,there were significant rise in hsCRP level [(1.82 ± 0.2) mg/L vs . (2.7 ± 0.1) mg/L vs . (3.5 ± 0.1) mg/L] and baPWV [ (1412 ± 95) cm/s vs . (1755 ± 72) cm/s vs . (2040 ± 105) cm/s] in normal HbA1c group and HbA1c elevating group (P<0.01 all) ,and hsCRP level and baPWV of HbA1c elevating group were sig‐nificantly higher than those of normal HbA1c group ,P<0.05 both .Conclusion:Brachial ankle pulse wave velocity and level of hsCRP of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus are significantly higher than those of normal subjects , and those of patients with poor blood glucose control are significantly higher than those of patients with good blood glucose control .Active blood glucose control can delay atherosclerosis progress .

Objective To research into the current situation of basic medicine knowledge grasp of non-medical students in local comprehensive university and to discuss the significance and necessity of launching basic medicine knowledge education in comprehensive university.Methods Random sampling was used to survey non-medical students of 1-3 grades in three gorges university with questionnaire.SPSS 13.0 software was used to do statistical analysis.Results 89.1％ undergraduates had consciousness to deal with slight illness and slight wound by themselves and 95.4％ undergraduates would prepare some drug to use when necessary.But only 37.2％ undergraduates knew the medicine classification management method of our country and 94.2％ undergraduates might abuse common medicine.96.7％ undergraduates thought that popularizing basic medicine knowledge by selected courses in university was necessary.Conclusions Most undergraduates lack basic medicine knowledge and potential medicine safety hazard like abuse medicine is existed.Education on basic medicine knowledge in university is of great significance in improving the life quality and basic quality of undergraduates.

【Objective】To observe the therapeutic effect of oral use of Neiyi Pill(composed of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae,Sanguis Draxonis,Rhizoma Sparganii,Rhizoma Curcumae,Semen Persicae,Radix Notoginseng,Radix Angelicae Sinensis,Ramulus Cinnamomi,Rhizoma Cyperi,Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae,etc.) combined with enteroclysis of Neiyi Enema(composed of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae,Sanguis Draxonis,Semen Persicae,Rhizoma Curcumae,Radix Paeoniae Rubra,Rhizoma Polygoni Cuspidati,etc.) for dysmenorrhea induced by endometriosis(EMS).【Methods】Fifty-eight patients diagnosed as endometriosis by laparoscopy were divided into 3 groups by randomized single-blind method.Group A(n=16) was treated with Neiyi Pill orally,Group B(n=24) with Neiyi Pill orally combined with enteroclysis of Neiyi Enema and Group C(n=18) with danazol orally.The 3 groups respectively received the corresponding treatment for 3 successive menstrual cycles(MC).Dysmenorrhea scoring was carried out according to the Guide for Clinical Research of New Chinese Herbal Medicine before treatment and after 1,2 and 3 menstrual cycles.The effects on symptoms of dysmenorrhea,lumbosacral discomfort and irritative symptom of rectum,signs of tenderness and nodule in posterior fornix of vagina and adnexal masses,and syndrome of blood stasis were observed.Meanwhile,the adverse reactions were also monitored.【Results】After treatment,effect on relieving dysmenorrhea in group B was superior to that in group C(P0.05).Effect on lumbosacral discomfort and syndrome of blood stasis in groups A and B was superior to that in group C(P0.05).Effect on irritative symptom of rectum,tenderness and nodule in posterior fornix of vagina and adnexal masses in group B was superior to that in group C(P0.05).【Conclusion】Oral use of Neiyi Pill combined with enteroclysis of Neiyi Enema has a better effect for endometriosis than only oral use of Neiyi Pill only or danazol,and has no obvious adverse reactions.

In order to promote the optional subjects' function in perfecting knowledge structure and developing students'personalities,through analyses of the results of 830 classmates' selection of optional subjects,we know in detail the contents,objective and the factors for which students hope to increase and select optional subjects.Thus suggestions for enhancing the construction and management of optional subjects have been put forward: transforming conception,nailing down the study purpose,increasing optional subjects and establishing the leading teachers' system of optional subjects.

Objective To analyze the application value of enhanced depth imaging optical coherence tomography (EDI-OCT) in measuring the lamina cribrosa thickness(LCT) in patients with branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO).Methods The clinical data of 65 patients with unilateral BRVO treated in our hospital from September 2014 to March 2016 were selected as the observation group.The single healthy eyes of 40 healthy individuals who received physical examination in the hospital during the same period were selected as the control group.The changes of retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness,LCT,central corneal thickness,axial length,transverse diameter of optic disc,vertical diameter of optic disc,diopter and extent of visual field defect in the two groups were determined by EDI-OCT.Results There was no significant difference in the central corneal thickness,axial length,transverse diameter of optic disc,vertical diameter of optic disc and diopter between the two groups (all P ＞ 0.05).LCT of different regions of optic disc in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (all P ＜ 0.05).The range of visual field defects in the observation group was larger than that in the control group,and the RNFL thickness was lower than that in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).LCT was positively correlated with the thickness of whole RNFL in patients with BRVO,and was negatively correlated with the visual field defects (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion EDI-OCT is an effective means for measuring LCT.LCT of patients with glaucoma BRVO is thinner than that of normal healthy people,and LCT is positively correlated with RNFL.thickness,and negatively correlated with visual field defects.

Objective:To investigate the improving effect of simvastatin on the related indices of hyperlipidemia Patients at the early stage in Talimu oil field, and analyze the correlation between the pulse wave velocity ( PWV) and the other indicators. Methods:Totally 59 patients with hyperlipidemia in Talimu oil field hospital received simvastatin for 6 months. The systolic and diastolic blood pressure, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), total cholesterol (TC), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol ( LDL-C) , PWV and ankle-brachial index ( ABI) were assessed before and after the treatment. Moreo-ver, the correlation between PWV with the other factors were analyzed by a multiple linear regression method. Results: After the six-month treatment, the systolic and diastolic blood pressure showed no significant change;TC and LDL-C were significantly decreased ( P<0. 05), while HDL-C was increased. PWV was significantly decreased, and ABI was improved significantly (P<0. 05). The chan-ges in PWV were correlated with age and hs-CRP(P<0. 05 or P<0. 01). Conclusion:Simvastatin can significantly improve the relat-ed indices in the patients with hyperlipidemia, reduce PWV, increase ABI and decrease serum hs-CRP level. The determination of PWV and hs-CRP can predict the degree of atherosclerosis better, which plays an important role in the prevention of cardiovascular dis-eases.

Objective To study the dissociation of EDTA-dependent pseudo platelet aggregation by amikacin and to clarify the potential mechanism.Methods At different time points,two concentrations of amikacin (6.5 mg/ml and 10.0 mg/ml) were respectively added to EDTA-K2 anti-coagulated whole blood samples collected from two subjects with EDTA-dependent pseudothrombocytopenia.The aggregated-platelet dissociation was investigated by platelet count and microscopical examination.CD41,CD61,CD62p,PAC-1,and IgG on the platelets of the two patients and of a normal control were determined by the FCS under various conditions.Results When amikacin (6.5 mg/ml) was added within 1 hour after blood collection,it dissociated the EDTA induced platelet aggregation and the platelet counts returned to the normal level. The expression of CD62p,PAC-1,and PA-IgG on the platelets was decreased,yet the expression of CD41 and CD61 had no change.Conclusion Amikacin supplementation (6.5 mg/ml) within 1 hour after blood sampling may dissociate the aggregated platelets caused by EDTA. The mechanism may be associated that amikacin might inhibit the expression of CD62p,PAC-1,and PA-IgG on platelets. The amikacin supplementation would be an inexpensive,effective,and practical method to solve the platelet aggregation induced by EDTA.

Objective To study the etiology,relevant factors and endoscopic characteristics of acute lower gastrointestinal tract hemorrhage.Methods A total of 938 patients receiving emergency colonoscopy for acute lower gastrointestinal tract hemorrhage were collected to study the etiological profiles.Different causes between young group and elderly group were also recorded.Results The total detectable rate of acute lower gastrointestinal tract hemorrhage in respect of causes was 96.16％ (902/938).The five leading causes were colorectal malignancy (41.26％),erosive colorectal polypus (12.37％),inflammatory bowel disease (9.59％),erosive and ulcer colitis (10.34％) and hemorrhoids (8.64％).Compared with youth and middle age patients,the incidence of colorectal malignancy (x2 =68.116,df =2,P =0.000) and colorectal polyps (x2 =9.101,df =2,P =0.011) were significantly increased in elderly patients,while incidence of inflammatory bowel disease (x2 =62.150,df=2,P =0.000) and erosive and ulcer colitis (x2 =20.292,df =2,P =0.000) were significantly decreased in those patients.Conclusions Emergency colonoscopy for diagnosis of acute lower gastrointestinal tract hemorrhage is an important measure.The major manifestation is bleeding resulting from colorectal malignancy,erosive colorectal polypus,inflammatory bowel disease,erosive and ulcer colitis and anal hemorrhoid.Age is associated with the cause of lower gastrointestinal tract bleeding induced by different kinds of lesions at the colorectum.

The association of urinary cytokine concentration with the incidence of urinary tract infection in patients with diabetes mellitus was explored. Urinary interleakin-6 (IL-6) level in 156 female type 2 diabetes mellitus patients was tested and followed up for 6 months. The incidence of urinary tract infection between the top quartile of baseline urinary cytokine concentration with the bottom quartile was compared. The incidence of top quartile of urinary IL-6 concentration at baseline was significantly lower than that of bottom quartile ( 13.5% vs 37.8%, P＜0.05 ). Abnormality of urinary IL-6 concentration may be involved in the mechanism leading to higher prevalence of urinary tract infection in patients with diabetes mellitus.
