1.Protective Effect of Paeonol Against Ischemia Reperfusion Damage in Cardiac Mitochondria Membrane of Rats

60mg /kg?d ip, of paeonol were given to rats for 15 days. The myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury model was produced by occluding the left coronary artery and releasing the occlusion in rats. This significantly decreased myocardial Ca++-ATPase activitics and CH/PL radical, FFA content, improved mitochondrial membrane fluidity and kept them away from oxygen free radical damage. These results indicated that paeonol has membrane protective effect on myocardial ischemia rcperfusion injury probably by inhibiting the oxygen free radicals and subsequent lipid peroxidation.
2.Histogenesis and cell differentiation of desmoplastic ameloblastoma

Objective:To study the histogenesis and cell differentiation of desmoplastic ameloblastoma.Methods:The expression of various protein filaments was detected by immunohistochemical stainning in 20 cases of desmoplastic ameloblastoma and the ultrastructure of the tumor was observed in 4 cases.Results:CKH,CK8 and CK19 were positive in spindle-shaped and polygonal epithlium tumor cells.Vimentin was positive in mesenchymal fibrocytes and smooth muscle actin in some mesenchymal cells.Ultrastructural observation found that tonifilaments were in epithelial cells and there were desmosomes between these cells.In stroma myofibroblasts were presented.Loose connective tissue could be seen around some epithelial cell nests.Conclusion:Desmoplastic ameloblastoma may be arise from the early stage of the dental germ formation, epithelial cells of the tumor had the tendency to differentiate to the keratinized cells.
3.Experimental study of protective effect of local infiltration of methylprednisolone on injured spinal nerve root

AimTo observe the effect of infiltration of Methylprednisolone on injured spinal nerve root and the protective function of Methylprednisolone to non-impressed spinal nerve root lesion. Methods The spinal nerve roots were injured in 20 rabbits. Three days later local Methylprednisolone infiltration of spinal nerve root profromed in rabbits in experiment group, while rabbits in the control roup received equal amount of 0.9% natriichloridi instead. The conduct velocity of spinal nerve root was measured one week after operation. The histological change of spinal nerve root and immunohistochemical stain of posterior horn of spine were observed by microscope. Results The conduct velocity was recovered obviously in experiment group. In observation of spinal nerve we found the edema and hyperaemia of matrix were impaired obviously, the lesion focus was minimized, the amount of inflammatory cells was decreased. The area of substance P positive fiber and its terminus in posterior of spinal was smaller in experiment group remarkably than in control group. ConclusionsThe local infiltration of Methylprednisolone can relieve inflammation, inhibit the transmission of pain and accelerate recovery of spinal nerve root.
4.Prevention and treatment of leg length discrepancy following total hip arthroplasty

OBJECTIVE:To explore the reasons for leg length discrepancy following total hip arthroplasty,and to summarize the prevention and treatment of leg length discrepancy after total hip arthroplasty.DATA SOURCES:A computer-based online search was conducted in PubMed (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed) for the English articles published between 2001 and 2008 with keywords "Leg length discrepancy,hip arthroplasty" and Wanfang database (http://www.wanfangdata.com.cn) for the Chinese articles published between 2004 and 2009.DATA SELECTION:Totally 154 literatures were retrieved by computer,including 116 English articles and 38 Chinese articles,through reading title and abstract,112 independent and 51 repeated papers were excluded.The remained 29 literatures were performed further analysis.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Reasons for leg length discrepancy and the prevention and treatment of leg length discrepancy following total hip arthroplasty.RESULTS:The main cause of leg length discrepancy after total hip arthroplasty included redundant neck of femur stump,used longer prothesis neck,diminished femur eccentricity,selected longer neck of femur prothesis,as well as larger movement of cotyloid cavity rotation center.The effective approaches of leg length discrepancy after total hip arthroplasty included careful preoperative planning,intraoperative measurement digital templating and image-guided surgery.It could be the adjusted with heel and shaped bottom for the limbs length which was more than 15 mm after operation,and revision operation maybe applied to patients who had more than 20 mm limbs length or combined with complications.CONCLUSIONS:Leg length discrepancy is one of the common complications following total hip arthroplasty.Along with the development of science and technology,to design individual prothesis and computer-assisted navigation joint can be recover farthest joint function.
5.Diagnosis and Treatment of Pulmonary Sequestration.

Objective To explore the cause,classification,incidence rate,diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary sequestration.MethodsThe data of 22 cases was analysed and the literatures were reviewed.ResultsThere were 22 cases of sequestration that confirmed by pathology after resected in our department from 1997 to 2007,of which 16 cases(72.7%)were confirmed before operation.The incidence rate was 5.7% comparing with the same time lobectomy.There were 20 cases(91%) of intralobar type and 2 cases(9%) of extralobar type.In intralobar type,18 cases were accompanied with infection and 2 cases with hemoptysis.2 cases had no symptom in extralobartype.ConclusionPulmonary sequestration is not an rare disease.The diagnosis mainly depends on X-ray.Sometimes,bronchography,retrograde arteriography or CT can also help making the diagnosis correctly.Operation is the main treatment method.Special attention should be paid to avoiding injure to the vessels during operation.
6.Study of the Cause,Radiologic Images Feature and Clinical Diagnosis of 36 Cases with Pulmonary Aspergillosis

Objective To approach the cause,radiologic images feature and clinical diagnostic technique in pulmonary aspergillosis.Methods We retrospectively evaluated the clinical presentation,symptoms,x-ray film and radiologic images,and clinical diagnostic methods of 36 cases with pulmonary aspergillosis.Results All cases were cured though operation and conformed by pathologic diagnosis.28 cases were diagnose as pulmonary aspergillosis,4 cases as lung cancer,3 casses as pulmonary tuberculosis,1 case as pneumonia.Conclusion Pulmonary aspergillosis was usual secondary to pulmonary tuberculosis,radiologic images feature was contribute to diagnosis,pathologic proof and fungus isolation in infected pulmonary tissue were gold standard.
7.Synthesis and identification of methylparaoxon artificial antigen

Objective To synthesize the artificial antigen methylparaoxon (M1600).Methods Methylparaoxon was reduced into amino-methylparaoxon by using acetic acid-zinc power-hydrochloric acid. Artificial antigens M1600-BSA, M1600-TTH were synthesized by conjugating amino-methylparaoxon to bovine serum albumin (BSA)and tachypleus tridentatus hemocyanin (TTH)directly after diazotization.Results Rabbits had been immunized with M1600-BSA for 10 weeks, and the high titer and high specificity antiserum from those rabbits was testified by doubled agar gel diffusion and indirect ELISA.Conclusion An artificial antigen was obtained successfully and this made it possible to establish the immunoassay of M1600.
8.Efficacy of Lamiophlomisrotata Dripping Pill combined with intra-articular injection of medical ozone in treatment of knee osteoarthritis

Objective To discuss the efficacy of Lamiophlomisrotata Dripping Pill combined with intra-articular injection of medical ozone in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.Methods Eighty patients with knee osteoarthritis were selected,the control group (39 cases) were administered Lamiophlomisrotata Dripping Pill,the observation group (41 cases) were administered Lamiophlomisrotata Dripping Pill combined with intra-articular injection of medical ozone.The efficacy of Lamiophlomisrotata Dripping Pill combined with intra-articular injection of medical ozone in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis were evaluated by efficacy,knee function,and inflammatory factor.Results After treatment,the effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05).In the observation group,there were 38 cases of patients who felt pain,tenderness,and swelling symptom relief.There were 28 cases in the control group.After treatment,the scores of pain,activity,walking ability,and KSS in the observation group were higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05).There was no statistical significance on the stability between two groups.Before treatment,there were no statistical significance on the IL-6,IL-8,and TNF-α.After treatment,the IL-6,IL-8,and TNF-αt were increased in two groups (P < 0.05).And these indexes in the observation group were higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion In summary,Lamiophlomisrotata Dripping Pill combined with medical ozone had good effect on the knee osteoarthritis.It could release the pain,improve knee function and anti-inflammatory.It was worthy of clinical use.

10.Anti-oxidation Effects of Compound Chinese Medicine of Yiqiling on Hypertensive Rats

Objective To investigate the anti-oxidation effects of compound Chinese medicine of Yiqiling,on the spon- taneously hypertensive rats(SHR) and to explore the new target for improving the prognosis of hypertension.Method SHR were randomly divided into 2 groups:Yiqiling group and the control group.The serum content of malondiadehyde (MDA) and superoxide dismutase(SOD),and the urine content of 8-iso prostaglandin F2?(8-isoPGF2?) in two groups were measured.Examination of the gene expression profile was analyzed by using cDNA microarray.Three of the anti-oxidation genes were selected to undergo RT-PCR and quantitative real-time PCR.Results The 8-isoPGF2?urine level and MDA serum level were lower,and SOD serum level was higher in Yiqiling group than those in the control group,the differences of the above indexes had statistical significance.In Yiqiling group the expression of 354 genes was up-regulated and that of 121 genes was down-regulated in comparison with the control group.The results of the Hsphl,Hspca and Pam genes detected by RT-PCR and quantitative real-time PCR were consistent with those detected by the microarray examination.Conclusion Yiqiling has anti-oxidation effects and improvement on the prognosis of SHR,and its possible mechanism is related with the regulation of Hsphl,Hspca and Pam genes expression.
