Objective To investigate the effects of quetiapine on serum levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factors ( BDNF) and the correlation between BDNF and psychiatric symptoms and cognitive function in patients with first-episode schizophrenia. Methods Eighty patients with first-episode schizophrenia ( treatment group) were treated with quetiapine orally for 4 weeks,at initial dose of 100 mg·d-1 and average dose of (580±120) mg·d-1 . The psychiatric symptoms were evaluated by using the positive and negative syndrome scale ( PANSS) . The cognitive function was assessed by using Wisconsin cards sort test ( WCST) . The serum BDNF level was detected with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay ( ELISA) . Results The serum level of BDNF was markedly lower in schizophrenic patients before[(13. 72±8. 79) ng·mL-1,P<0. 01] and after treatment[(18. 02±9.06) ng·mL-1,P<0.05]in comparison with normal controls(23. 67±10. 13) ng·mL-1]. After treatment, the PANSS total scores and subscale scores decreased,WCST number of categories and the number of correct answers increased, and the number of wrong answers reduced. There was a positive correlation between the serum BDNF and negative symptoms ( SANS) ( r= 0. 54, P=0. 032),and the number of correct answers. Conclusion The quetiapine significantly increases serum level of BDNF in schizophrenia patients, which correlates positively with improvements in symptoms and cognitive function.

Objective To realize K space image reconstruction by using VC++ and Matlab in the development of MRI software. Methods VC++ called FFT(Fast Fourier Transform Algorithm) function of matlab math dlls to realize transforming the data from k space to real space. Results Image reconstruction was realized successfully for the clinical demand. The development circle and programming workload were greatly reduced. Conclusion The mixed programming by VC++ and Matlab can reduce the developing process and improve the reliability of the software.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the clinical results of tube gastrostomy in radical cystectomy and ileal conduit.
METHODSWe retrospectively analyzed the data of 98 patients undergoing radical cystectomy and ileal conduit between March 2007 and February 2010. According to postoperative gastrointestinal decompression methods, the patients were divided into nasogastric decompression group (n=50) and tube gastrostomy group (n=48), and the gastrointestinal recovery time, surgical complications and hospital stay were compared between them.
RESULTSNo statistical difference was found in gastrointestinal recovery time, hospital stay, or surgical complications between the two groups, but the incidence of pulmonary infection was significantly lower in tube gastrostomy group than in nasogastric decompression group (P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONTube gastrostomy is an easy, safe and effective means for gastric decompression after radical cystectomy with ileal conduit, especially suitable for elderly patients and those with potential pulmonary disorder.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2018;42(5):372-374
In this paper, standards for active implantable cardiac medical devices are discussed.Potential EMC risks and its correspondent tests settings as well as the design principle of the tests have been analyzed. The problems arises from the difference between domestic and international standards on the limitation of exposure of the general public to electromagnetic fields and the lack of assessment of EMC risk which generated by the the 5th generation mobile communication for the impact on the active implantable devices devices.

Objective:
To investigate the clinical features and prognostic factors of gastric cancer patients under the age of 40.
Methods :
The clinical data of 126 young gastric cancer patients under the age of 40 were retrospectively analyzed. Log⁃Rank test and Cox regression model were used to analyze prognostic risk factors ,respectively.
Results:
The average age of gastric cancer patients in our group was 33. 6 years ,and there were more female patients than male patients(female ∶ male = 1. 25 ∶ 1) , Upper abdominal pain and fullness discomfort were the most common clinical manifestations ,and the predominant sites were gastric antrum angle (43. 7% ) and gastric body (42. 9% ) . Lauren type was mainly diffuse type (89. 7% ) , Nakamura type was mainly undifferentiated type (91. 3% ) , and WHO type was the most common type of low⁃adherence carcinoma (46. 8% ) . 71. 4% of patients were diagnosed with advanced 46. 7% , respectively. The results of univariate analysis showed that the levels of serum CA199 ,tumor length ,depth of tumor invasion ,lymphatic metastasis ,vascular invasion ,and surgical approach were risk factors affecting the prognosis
of patients. Multivariate analysis revealed that the levels of serum CA199 ,the depth of tumor invasion and surgical approach were independent prognostic factors.
Conclusion
Young gastric cancer has a high degree of malignancy and strong biological invasiveness. Most patients are diagnosed at the advanced stage of the tumor, and the overall prognosis is poor. The levels of serum CA199 ,the depth of tumor invasion and surgical approach were independent prognostic factors.
