Objective To understand the e ff ectiveness of parasite ova sediment and non-hazardous treatment of two-grille la trines. Methods Two-grille latrines were recon n oitered in the field according to the non-hazardous treatment criteria, and th e sediment of parasite ova, the value of fecal coliform bacteria, NH 3-N, CODcr of the samples from the Grille 1 and Grille 2 of latrines were detected. Results The structure of some two-grille latrines was n o t in accord with the non-hazardous treatment criteria.Parasite ova were detecte d from the Grille 2 of one latrine. Six of 16 latrines were not eligible for non -ha zardous treatment according to the value of fecal coliform bacteria in Grille 2. Conclusion It is not suggested to popularize th e two-grille latrine yet, but it can be used as an interim form for excrement n on-hazardous treatment in rural areas. [

Objective To develop two-grille latrines with the effect of non-hazardous treatment. Methods According to the result of the pretest, one type of two-grille latrines was selected and constructed and its effect of non-hazardous treatment was evaluated. Results The faces-treatment pool, with cement-prefab structure and obturation, had a total cubage of 1.32 m3. The average total amount of faces in the pool was 1.05 m3 per family per month, and the pool could store the faces for over 34 days. The “reaching criteria rate” of the parasite ova sediment and the value of the fecal coliform bacteria were 100% among the excrement in the outlet. Conclusions The prefab two-grille latrines can reach the criteria of non-hazardous treatment, and they can be used in well-off rural areas without the usage of manure.

[Objective]This study was conducted to examine the effects of dexmedetomidine on the proliferation and angiogenesis of MHCC97H and SMCC7721 human hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)cell lines cultured in hypoxia condition in vitro, and investigated the possible mechanism involved.[Methods]MHCC97H and SMCC7721 human HCC cell lines under hypoxia culture condition were treated with presence or absence of dexmedetomidine(100 μmol/L). Cell viability, colony formation, vasculogenic mimicry(VM) formation were assessed. The effects of dexmedetomidine on α-2A adrenergic receptor(α2A),hypoxia induced factor-1a(HIF-1a),and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)protein expression were evaluated with Western blot analysis.[Results]Cell proliferation assay and colony formation assay indicated that hypoxia obviously promoted the proliferation of MHCC 97H and SMCC7721 cells(CoCl2 group vs corresponding control group, the proliferation rate of MHCC97H and SMCC7721:Day 3,142.2%and 133.8%;Day 4,134.7%and 131.0%;Day 5,133.5%and 136.2%;all P<0.05),and VM formation assay suggested that hypoxia increased angiogenesis of MHCC97H and SMCC7721 cells. Whereas dexmedetomidine significantly inhibited the proliferation(Dex+CoCl2 group vs CoCl2 group, the proliferation rate of MHCC97H and SMCC7721:Day 3,55.7%vs 60.7%;Day 4,46.9%vs 58.1%;Day 5,46.4%vs 57.0%,all P<0.05)and angiogenesis of MHCC97H,SMCC7721 cells induced by hypoxia. Dexmedetomidine may exert these functions by activating α-2A adrenergic receptor, causing an decrease in HIF-1a and VEGF protein, while hypoxia activated HIF-1a and VEGF protein to promote the growth and angiogenesis of cells.[Conclusion]The findings provide evidence that hypoxia could promote the proliferation and angiogenesis of MHCC97H and SMCC7721 cells, while dexmedetomidine might inhibit these effects by down-regulating HIF-1a and VEGF protein expression through activatingα-2A adrenergic receptor.

Objective To explore the rela ti onship between the environmental temperature and the oxygen demand of [WT5” BX]Oncomelania snails, and the relationship between the hiber nation or aestivation and the oxygen demand of snails.Me thods The oxygen demand of Oncomelaniasnails between 0 ℃ and 40 ℃ was determined by increasing the temperature gradually in lab, the relationship between the environmental tempera ture and the oxygen demand, and the correlative relationship between the oxygen demand and the percentage of snails in hibernation or aestivation were analysed. Results The oxygen demand increased as the tem perature rose between 1 ℃ and 36 ℃, and the regression equation between the oxygen demand and the variation of environmental temperature was [WT5”BX ]=6.6?10 -5-3?10 -6x+4.4?10 -6x2-8?10 -8x 3(R2=0.998,F=2775,P

Objective To evaluate the bioequivalence of domestic and imported terazosin hydrochloride tablets after single oral dose .Methods It was a single center ,randomized ,open ,cross-over trail design ,21 subjects were fasting oral adminis-tered of 2 mg domestic and imported terazosin hydrochloride tablets in different periods ,venous blood 4 ml were collected in different time points before and 60 h after administration ,plasma concentration of terazosin was determined by LC-MS/MS . Results The main pharmacokinetic parameters of domestic and imported terazosin hydrochloride tablets were as follows :t1/2 :(13.2± 2.39)hvs(12.5±1.93)h,tmax :(1.01±0.83)hvs(1.08±0.69)h,Cmax :(40.1±10.6)ng/mlvs(37.3± 9 .57) ng/ml;AUC0- ∞ :(428 ± 82 .1) ng · h/ml vs (426 ± 85 .2) ng · h/ml .The relative bioavailability of domestic terazosin hydrochloride tablets was (101 .2 ± 14 .7)% .90% CI of domestic and imported terazosin hydrochloride tablets AUC0-t and Cmax geometric mean ratio fell between 80% -125% .Conclusion The domestic tablets are bioequivalent to the imported tablets .

OBJECTIVE:
To explore the feasibility of cervical approach for goiter in posterior mediastinum.
METHOD:
According to the mechanism that goiter filed into posterior mediastinum and the dissection of thyroid gland and mediastinum, we designed the following surgery principles (1) From top to bottom. (2) Find out recurrent nerve at the place where it enters larynx, then dissect recurrent nerve as long as possible and protect it carefully, meanwhile, search thyroid vessels along recurrent nerve. (3) To avoid and uncontrollable serious hemorrhage in the operation, all normal and aberrant blood vessels must be ligated cautiously, and avoid pulling great vessels in the thoracic part. (4) Separating tumor of hemorrhage under surgical capsule. Bluntly, it can avoid damage important structure in most occasions. (5) If the tumor of hemorrhage was difficult to be separated from the surrounding structure, ask thoracic surgeon for cooperation.
RESULT:
Two operations case were operated under the above guideline successfully, and the operations were performed with satisfactory effect, minimal invasion, rapid recovery and low medical cost.
CONCLUSION
Cervical approach for goiter in mediastinum posterior is an ideal method of surgery, but it has following operative indication. (1) imaging date indicate that tumor of posterior septum is not connected to the surrounding structure. (2) It is not accompanied with superior vena cava syndrome. (3) The size of large thyroid tumor of posterior septum could be decreased by taking out the center part of tumor, and it is suitable for liquidized center tissue especially, then take out the tumor from neck. If it is hard to be taken out, you can ask thoracic surgeon for help.
