2.Effect of Budesonide on Dendritic Cells in Asthmatic Mice
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(16):-
Objective To explore the effect of budesonide(BUD) on dendritic cell(DC) and airway inflammation in the asthmatic mice. Methods Forty female Kunming mice were divided into 4 groups:asthmatic model group, therapeutic control group,BUD treated group, and normal control group, with 10 mice in each group.Mice were sensitized by an intraperitoneal injection of 50 ?g ovalbumin(OVA) adsorbed to 1 mg aluminum hydroxide dissolved in 0.2 mL saline.Animals were boosted on the 14th day in the same way. From the 21th to 35th days, and mice were challenged with 10 g/L aerosolized OVA for 30 min a day to establish a murine model of asthma. To evaluate the effect of BUD,60 minutes prior to OVA exposure, the mice were treated with 1 mg aerosolized BUD or placebo(saline).Control animals were sensitized intraperitoneally with saline and challenged with aerosolized saline alone.Eosinophil(EOS) count, degree of mucus secretion and DC count around the airways were measured by haematoxylin and eosin staining, periodic acid schiff's staining, immunochemistry technique and computerized image analysis system. Results In asthmatic model group,EOS count,DC count and the degree of mucus secretion around the airways were increased compared with nomal control group(P_a0.05).In BUD treated group,EOS count,DC count and the degree of mucus secretion around the airways were decreased compared with the asthmatic model group(P_a

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of preoperative nutritional treatment and perioperative nutrition support for the patients with esophageal cancer. Methods According to the digital table,90 patients with esophageal cancer were divided into the control group(15 cases),preoperative nutrition group(25 cases),postoperation nutrition group(25 cases)and preoperative nutrition + postoperation nutrition group(25 cases). The postoperative quality of life and the complications were compared. Results Postoperative quality of life in the preoperative nutrition group, postoperation nutrition group and preoperative nutrition + postoperation nutrition group were all better than that in the control group(t =14.76,15.13,17.87,all P < 0.05).The incidence rate of postoperative complications in patients received nutritional intervention significantly decreased than in the control group(x2 =9.17,12.13,19.18,all P < 0.05).Conclusion The preoperative nutrition and postoperation nutrition can improve the postoperative quality of life and reduce the incidence rate of the complications.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(12):-
Objective To observe the delayed brain myelination of children with phenylketonuria(PKU)combined with epilepsia, and explore effectiveness of the treatment and provide an objective criteria for patient recovering evaluation. Methods There were 42 PKU patients, aged 3 to 72 months were selected. The concentration of phenylalanine tested by high pressure liquid chromatography was greater than 1.2 mmol/L in blood, diagnosed as PKU.According to electroencephalogram and clinical symptom,21 cases were diagnosed as epilepsy, the other 21 cases were used as control group. All patients were taken MRI before treatment.Myelination in 10 sections(cerebellum, pons, mesencephalon, internal capsule posterior limb, corpus callosum, internal capsule anterior limb, occipital lobe, parietal lobe, temporal lobe, frontal lobe)were evaluated. Results Delayed myelinations were located mainly in the cerebral lobes and corpus callosum, average delayed incidence of the 10 region was 44.8% in epilepsy group and 30.9% in control group. The incidence of the corpus callsum was 80.9% in epilepsy group,52.4% in control group, the number of sections of delayed myelination showed statistically significant between 2 groups(P

Objective To investigate the roles of ulinastatin in improving coagulation function and inhibiting fibrolysis in neohepatic phase in liver transplantation. Methods Forty patients who were to undergo liver transplantation were randomly divided into ulinastatin group(experiment group,n=20) and placebo group(control group,n=20).Platelet,prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT) and fibrinogen(Fg) were measured at induction, anhepatic phase(10 min after clamping),neohepatic phase(5 and 60 min after unclamping) and the end of operation.Coagulation index(CI) of thromboelastogram(TEG) was monitored, and the volumes of blood loss, red blood cells infusion, fresh frozen plasma infusion and cryoprecipitate infusion were recorded. Results Five min after unclamping, the number of patients with CI
