Objective Measuring the therapeutic effect of the isolated duodenal exclusion for type 2 diabetes mellitus rats by observing the post-surgery change of glycometabolism-related indicators which could be contributed to the isolation between food and the duodenal mucosa with an endoluminal sleeve placing into the duodenum intestine duodennal of type 2 diabetes mellitus Rats.Methods In this experiment,12 male type 2 diabetes mellitus Goto-Kakizaki (GK) rats were randomized to endoluminal exclution as the experimental group and 12 to sham surgery as the control group,The body mass,the average daily food intake and fasting plasma glucose were determined before (0 week) and 1,3,6,12 weeks after operation;For testing the hematoglobinA1c(HbA1c) level,blood samples were collected before and 6,12 weeks after operation.Results No statistical significant differences between two groups before operation index.In both groups,The body mass and average daily food intake decreased markedly at 1 week after surgery:the experimental group body mass preoperative(262.6 ± 5.6 g)vs postoperative(224.0 ± 6.3 g) ;the average daily food intake preoperative(25.5 ± 2.7 g) vs postoperative (16.5 ± 3.0 g),P ＜ 0.05.Changes in the experimental group with control group,P ＜0.05.The 3 week,6 week,12 week body weight was gradually increased in rats of two groups.The experimental group daily feed intake is always lower than the preoperative postoperative,P ＜ 0.05.In the 3 weeks,the control group's body weight and daily food intake were higher than those before operation,P ＜ 0.05.The experimental group post-FPG level (7.5 ± 1.1) mmol/L,(7.2 ± 1.2) mmol/L,(7.3 ± 0.9) mmol/L,(7.1 ± 1.0) mmol/L vs preoperation (12.2 ± 1.2) mmol/L were decreased significantly,P ＜ 0.05.Compared to the preoperation,the HbA1c concentration of the experimental group decreased significantly,6 w (7.8 ± 0.9) ％,12 w(8.2 ± 1.2) ％ vs the preoperation (10.3 ± 1.4) ％,P ＜0.05.These indicators of the control group showed no significant changes,P ＞ 0.05.Conclusion The isolated duodenal exclusion can achieve the therapeutic effect for type 2 diabetes mellitus on GK rats,and which might be attributed to the improvement of the glycometabolism.

Objective To study the clinical significance of a novel marker of platelet clumps count provided by hematology analyzer in differentiating true thrombocytopenia from EDTA-dependent pseudothrombocytopenia (EDTA-PTCP). Methods Samples from 65 cases of thrombocytopenia (including 15 EDTA-PCTP samples and 50 random samples of true thrombocytopenia) and 50 healthy controls were analyzed using hematology analyzers, and samples with low platelet counts were checked by replacing citric acid and using manual microscope observation to identify true thrombocytopenia from EDTA-PTCP. A novel marker of platelet clumps count was used to differentiate the two diseases for samples anficoagulated with EDTA or citric acid. Results In 65 patients with thrombocytopenia, platelet counts were (48±11)×109/L detected by automatic hematology analyzers. Fifty of 65 cases were true thrombocytopenia which showed low platelet counts [(48±10)×109/L by automated analyzer and (46±11)×109/L by manual assay]. No significance was observed between them (t=-1.26, P0.05). Platelet clumps counts were 86±15. No platelet clamps were detected under microscope. The other 15 cases were EDTA-PTCP [platelet counts were (48±12)×109/L and platelet clumps counts (840±184) were increased significantly by automated analyzer and using EDTA anticoagulant] which showed obviously platelet clumps and no less platelet counts under microscope. After replacing citric acid, platelet counts [(141±13)×109/L by automated analyzer and (134±17)×109/L by manual microscope assay] were increased significantly. No significance was observed between them (t=-1.29, P0.05). Platelet clumps counts (75±12) were decreased obviously compared with EDTA anticoagulant method (t=-6.82, P<0.001). No platelet clumps were detected under microscope. Conclusion Platelet clumps counts may be a useful clinical indicator for monitoring of platelet aggregates, especially for EDTA-PTCP caused by platelet clumping.

Objective To investigate surgical technique and clinical efficacy of Sky bone ex- pander kyphoplasty in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral body compression fractures.Methods Eighteen cases with osteoporotic vertebral body compression fractures were treated with Sky bone expander kyphoplasty from August 2004 to November 2005.Under the local anesthesia,3.5-5ml of bone cements were injected into each pathologic vertebral body through unipedicle approach after reduction procedure was done with Sky bone expander.Results The postoperative follow-up ranged from 3 to 11 months, with an average of 4.5 months.Back pain was effectively relieved after the operation in all cases.No complications occurred.Conclusion The Sky bone expander kyphoplasty has the advantages of safe- ty,easy operation,minimal invasion,effective restoration of the vertebral body height and fast relief of pain.

OBJECTIVETo observe the therapeutic efficacy of Dangfei Liganning Tablet (DLT) in the treatment of antipsychotics induced mild hepatic damage.

METHODSTotally 80 mental inpatients with antipsychotics induced mild liver injury were randomly assigned to two groups, the treatment group (40 cases) and the control group (40 cases). Patients in the treatment group took DLT, two tablets each time, three times per day, while those in the control group took Liver-protecting Tablet (LT), four tablets each time, three times per day. The treatment course was 4 weeks for all. Changes of glutamic-pyruvic transaminase (ALT) and glutamic-oxalacetic transaminase (AST) were observed before treatment, week 1, 2, and 4 after treatment. The therapeutic efficacy was compared between the two groups.

RESULTSCompared with the former time point, ALT and AST gradually decreased in the two groups at week 1, 2, and 4 (P <0. 05). The cured rate was 72. 5% and the total effective rate was 97. 5% in the treatment group. They were 62. 5% and 90. 0% respectively in the control group. There was no statistical difference in the two indices between the two group (P >0.05). No obvious adverse reaction occurred in the two groups.

CONCLUSIONDLT could treat antipsychotics induced mild hepatic damage in a safe and effective way.

OBJECTIVE:To establish the method for the content determination of Ciclosporin ophthalmic emulsion and to probe into its stability.METHODS:HPLC method was used to determine the content of ciclosporin.The separation was performed on Eclipse XDB-C8 column.The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-methanol-water(67.5 :5 :27.5) with the flow rate of 0.8 mL?min-1.The detection wavelength was set at 210 nm and column temperature was 55 ℃.Its stability was studied by classic isothermal accelerated test and highlight struck test.RESULTS:The linear range of ciclosporin was 5～60 mg?L-1(r=0.999 9) with average recovery of 100.39%(RSD=1.15%).The preparation was stable under heat and light,and its shelf life at 25 ℃ was predicted about 6.88 years.CONCLUSIONS:The method is accurate and feasible for the content determination of Ciclosporin ophthalmic emulsion.The preparation can be stored at room temperature.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the protective effect of the traditional Chinese medicine Yiqimingmu oral solution on photochemical damage of retina in rats. METHODS:SD rats were divided into four groups randomly:negative control group, model group, low dose Yiqimingmu oral solution group and high dose Yiqimingmu oral solution group. All the groups except the control one were continually exposed to Lux (1 900?106.9) green fluorescent light for 24 hours to establish retinal photochemical damage model. The low dose and high dose groups were administered intragastrically with Yiqimingmu oral solution (15mL?kg-1?d-1 and 30mL?kg-1?d-1) 7 days before light expose. Normal saline solution was administered intragastrically in control and model group. At 6 hours and 6, 14 days after light expose, the content of malandialdehyde (MDA) and activity of SOD in rats' retina were measured. The histopathologic changes were observed by transmission electron microscopy and light microscopy. Objective To analyze the serum inflammation related factors of influenza A ( induced by sub-type H1N1 virus) patients with epidemic febrile damp-heat syndrome and warm-heat syndrome. Results Fifty-six patients confirmed as influenza A ( H1N1) were differentiated into epidemic febrile damp-heat syndrome ( 36 cases) and epidemic febrile warm-heat syndrome (20 cases) . And then we observed the serum immune globulins IgM and IgG, interleukin-8 (IL-8), tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-ɑ), tumor growth factor beta 1 (TGF-β1), lipolysaccharide binding protein (LBP), Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and soluble CD14 (sCD14) levels of the influenza A patients. Results Insignificant differences of serum IgM, IgG, IL-8, TNF-ɑand TGF-β1 levels were shown between epidemic febrile damp-heat syndrome patients and epidemic febrile warm-heat syndrome patients (P>0.05), but the differences of LBP, TLR4 and sCD14 were significant (P<0.05) .Conclusion Influenza A (H1N1) patients with epidemic febrile damp-heat syndrome have higher serum LBP, TLR4 and sCD14 levels than patients with epidemic febrile warm-heat syndrome, indicating that inflammatory reaction is severer in influenza A (H1N1) patients with epidemic febrile damp-heat syndrome.

Objective To evaluate therapeutic effects of endovascular therapy for in-stent restenosis of superficial femoral artery,and the risk factors of restenosis of re-intervention therapy.Methods We retrospectively summarized the clinical data of 35 patients(38limbs)who suffered from in-stent restenosis of superficial femoral artery(SFA)stent from 2010 to 2012.Results 35 patients (38 limbs)were enrolled in this study,there were 24 males and 11 females.Mean age was (68 ±8)years.The success rate of endovascular therapy was 89.5％ (34/38),including in-stent angioplasty in 14 limbs,in-stent and beyond-stent angioplasty in 5 limbs,in-stent angioplasty and beyond-stent re-stenting in 15 cases.The primary patency and sencondary patency rate for 6,12 and 24 months was 65.2％,46.5％,46.5％,and 87.5％,80.2％,55.8％ respectively.The independent risk factors for re-obliteration were age ＞ 70 years (P ＜ 0.05) and diabetes mellitus (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Endovascular therapy is effective and safe in treatment in-stent restenosis of superficial femoral artery.The long-term in-stent patency is not satisfactory,with age ＞ 70 years and diabetes mellitus as independent risk factors.
